Toulouse imam investigated for antisemitic sermons
A senior Muslim cleric from Toulouse who recited anti-Semitic, anti-Israel religious passages and predicted the destruction of the Jewish state is now under investigation by French prosecutors. What he spoke of was the Hadith section about Jews hiding behind trees that tell there's somebody behind them to murder. One of the most truly revolting parts of the Islamic texts. And it shouldn't be a shock somebody involved in "interfaith" conversations would be willing to do this. As for the mosque, it should be closed down.
The Toulouse Prosecutor’s Office began the investigation of Mohamed Tatai, the imam of the newly inaugurated Grand Mosque of Toulouse and the leader of an interfaith dialogue group, the Sud Ouest daily reported.
