A New York Times correspondent for the White House claimed Jews don't believe in heaven

Breitbart brings word of another NY Times staffer whose obsessions lead her to make an absurd claim that Jews are akin to atheists:
New York Times White House correspondent Annie Karni attempted to mock President Donald Trump’s State of the Union address on Tuesday evening by claiming that “Jews don’t believe in heaven.”Well whoever this Karni is, I think it's high time she quit the assignments, because she's not fit for the job at all. She's only demonstrated a serious lack of intellect, and should be ashamed of herself for carrying on the worst traditions of the NYT.
The context was Trump’s recounting of the story of Holocaust survivor Judah Samet, a Holocaust survivor (and Trump supporter) who also survived last year’s mass shooting at the Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh, and was present in the gallery in the House of Representatives.

“Jews don't believe in Heaven” is NOT accurate.
Instead say that:
“Ignorant Jews who never studied their
own religion and do not know their
own religion do not believe in Heaven”.
Heaven and Hell were both mentioned by
Rabbi Yehudah ben Tema (Mishnah,
tractate Avot, chapter 5, paragraph 20).
The Mishnah was completed in
the year 203 of the Common Era.
Since more than 4 out of 5 American Jews
never receive any education about their
own religion, their opinions about
Judaism are meaningless, because they
do not know what they are talking about
