Tel-Chai Nation: Student murdered near Hebron

A yeshiva student and IDF employee was found stabbed to death near Hebron:

The Israel Defense Forces said that the body of a student, also serving as an IDF soldier, was found in the early hours of Thursday morning with stab wounds near the city of Hebron. He was identified as Dvir Sorek, 19, from the town of Ofra.

“The soldier was a student in a yeshiva, at the first stage of his military service. Our troops together with Israeli security forces are searching the area,” the IDF reported.

IDF Spokesman Ronen Manelis said that a missing 19-year-old was reported during the night. Troops called into the area discovered his body not far from the yeshiva, Hesder Beren-Machanaim in Migdal Oz, where he studied. Migdal Oz is located in Gush Etzion.

“We are beginning to carry out steps on the working assumption that there is a terrorist cell in the area that carried out the attack,” Manelis said.

Sorek’s family were the ones who called in the report after not being able to make contact with him. His body was found at around 2:30 a.m.

The authorities are still searching for the murderer:

Searches continue “throughout Judea and Samaria in the framework of the hunt for the terrorist” who murdered 19-year-old Dvir Sorek, the IDF said Friday.

Sorek’s body was discovered in the Gush Etzion area of Judea early Thursday morning with fatal stab wounds.

The hunt for the killer is concentrated in the nearby Hebron area, according to Kan public radio.

Sorek had been walking near the yeshiva where he was a student. He was enlisted in a program which combines religious studies with military service.

Israeli security investigators are examining why guards at the nearby Migdal Oz community and city of Efrat did not discern of the terrorist activity. The investigators believe that the attack was planned as opposed to a spontaneous act of violence.

The Palestinian Islamic Jihad terror group welcomed the killing.

Evidently, they were the terrorists behind the satanic being who committed the murder. And they better be found, and their headquarters destroyed along with their filthy bodies for the evil they committed.
