Opposition rising in Blue & White against a minority government reliant on Joint Arab List
As Benny Gantz has been trying to court the support of the Islamic-led party in the Knesset for approving a minority government, there's been opposition within the party rising against the idea:
Blue and White MK Hili Tropper has decided that he would oppose the formation of a minority government which would be dependent on outside support from the Joint Arab List, Channel 12 News reported Monday night.This is fortunate news. I hope they'll decided to defect and support Likud instead. Gantz is simply not worth their time, and doesn't have what it takes to prove an effective politician.
Earlier, Arutz Sheva reported that political officials spoke over the last few days with MK Tropper and asked him to join MKs Yoav Hendel and Zvi Hauser in an attempt to prevent the formation of such a government.
