93-year-old Holocaust survivor says surgical masks worse than yellow star

Pamela Geller's got a video clip where an elderly Holocaust survivor at an anti-lockdown rally warns that the surgical masks authorities are demanding be worn to prevent Coronavirus (even though it's been proven ineffective in the long run) are worse than yellow star symbols the Germans forced Jews to wear:

“When I see people masked, I think of the yellow star which gave everybody liberty to insult me, to call me a ‘carrier of disease’, to spit on me even. I would like to tell you that this [is] worse. It is more insidious, It concerns more people. There is a hypocrisy in the public narrative that is absolutely unbearable – to say to protect the old. I would to love die in a state that gives me freedom.”

“To see people defile their children with masks is something totally unbearable to me.”

It's also crucial to add that forcing women to wear Islamic veils is offensive for the same reasons. I'm glad this lady spoke up. It's something important to consider on the eve of Holocaust Memorial Day.
