Naftali Bennett's sellout agreement with Mansour Abbas
Designated prime ministers Naftali Bennett and Yair Lapid have pledged in an agreement with United Arab List chairman Mansour Abbas to turn to the Attorney General to lift all fines and sanctions on illegal Arab construction.Somehow, I doubt Sa'ar will succeed in what he supposedly wants to do. And the fact that Bennett and Lapid may want to draft a law to prevent Benjamin Netanyahu from running for premiership again also weighs against the notion they're being altruistic. That they would give even this kind of position to Abbas, who, as it's turned out, supports the Muslim Brotherhood, is reprehensible. Such steps ruin everything, and certainly paint a dark vision going forward.
Enforcement will be suspended for almost four years, including the freezing of existing demolition orders for all homes in the Negev that were established by the beginning of the year. Abbas will be appointed a deputy minister and will receive half a billion shekels for distribution at his discretion.
[Th]e chairman of the Religious Zionism Party, MK Bezalel Smotrich, responded: "After the lies and denials, this is what a liquidation sale of Zionism looks like. no less''.
The Likud responded: "Bennett did everything he could to conceal the agreement with Ra'am - a shocking agreement involving the sale of the Negev to the Islamic Movement, and the chairmanship of the Knesset Interior Committee to Mansour Abbas."
Under the coalition agreement, the Labor Party receives a new branch of "Jewish Renewal" in the Ministry of Diaspora, with a code name for budgets and a link to the Reform Movement in the United States.
Gideon Sa'ar will be the Deputy Prime Minister and at his request the government will decide on the splitting of the position of attorney general into multiple positions and on a plan to prevent the PA takeover of Area C. The left can vote against this and Lapid is not obliged to vote in favor.
