Woke Israeli managers at Miss Universe tried to get pageant to ditch swimwear, were rightfully rebuffed

This is something I'd wondered about, realized was possible, and now, it seems some members of the local managers of the Miss Universe pageant, most disgustingly, tried to get them to go in a "woke" direction, and thankfully, the official management didn't fall for it:
A local production manager for this year’s Miss Universe competition in Eilat said the Israeli team tried to convince the show’s organizers to replace the contestants’ traditional swimsuits with sports gear.

“We suggested that instead of swimsuits they would go up [on stage] in sportswear,” Tali Eshkoli, one of the Israeli production managers, told Channel 12 news in an interview broadcast on Friday.

Eshkoli said the organizers didn’t accept the suggestion. “We failed with that,” she said.

“We know, as people in this competition do, that things need to change,” Asaf Blacher, another production manager, told the network.

“You will see on Monday that we will bring our change. Swimsuits on the stage — it won’t be the same as every year. It won’t be a parade of 80 girls shaking their bodies for show,” he said.
I think the twosome cited here should be absolutely ashamed of themselves. This is practically what led to the horror story at Bnot Orot in Beit Shemesh a decade ago. They think sexuality is corrupting and "immoral", and evidently want to jump on the left-wing woketard bandwagon as well. Should they try what they're talking about tomorrow, they'll be scum of the earth. They owe an apology for being so hugely disappointing. Why, if I dicovered them talking that way about Mexican dresses from Tabasco and Chiapas, I'd be outraged. Swimwear is not the worst thing that can happen, and these "managers" in Israel know that. So they'd best apologize for putting words in the main directors' mouths, regardless what they and the contestants think.
