Eileen Toplansky points out how all the horrific surgery conducted of recent for transsexuality is basically the same as Female Genital Mutilation, and the left's way of getting around the ban on the latter practice. It's also led to considerable ruination of many lives:

Walt Heyer knows firsthand what it’s like to undergo sex change surgery and then regret it. After living as a woman for nearly a decade, he decided to accept his biological sex and de-transition back to male. He had eagerly taken the bait of politicized medical practitioners, who hurried him along in the transition.

He not only regretted what he had done to his body, he also grieved over the estrangement from his wife and children caused by his drastic change in identity. Heyer’s . . . newest book, “Trans Life Survivors,” is . . . a compilation of the stories of many others caught up in today’s ‘transmania.’ Some are nudged into transgenderism by social pressures and emotional manipulation. Many are hastily sent into surgery without adequate counseling (or any counseling at all) or are misdiagnosed. Some of those regret their decision very shortly after having irreversible surgery.

This is stuff that's predictably concealed by the far-left media from the public. Of course, based on the following revelation from Pennsylvania, it should be no shock that such a modern day tragedy could occur:

Yesterday, I came across a video taken just a few days back at the Central Pennsylvania Pride Event. It featured a young boy, wearing a colorful tulle skirt, fumbling around a stripper pole while a gay man in underwear instructs him on the erotic dance form — as his mother cheers them on.

Tears of rage filled my eyes. I couldn't help but wonder what the grown man was thinking as he gawked at that precious little boy, or how a mother could hand over her own son to pedophilic exploitation — her one job above all is to keep him safe in every way, but instead she acquiesces to his abuse. Easily detected by any viewer is this innocent child's desire for love and praise — something that should be given so unconditionally — that he has to earn through sexual performances in front of grown men.

This is just one of many examples depicting the rapid rate at which a culture can descend into depravity when there is no steadying anchor. Emotions aside, it is the nature of the LGBT Agenda beast — giving in to perversion reaps more perversion.

A very valid point's made here: it's not just the bad influence of activists that's led to all this. Even the "parents" of these children have to shoulder the blame for selling out their children to the exploiters and desecrators. And of course, law enforcement, for refusing to protect the children either.
