Tel-Chai Nation

Israel, much like the fortress of Tel-Chai that Jospeh Trumpeldor fought to defend against Arab conquerors in 1920, finds itself beseiged by enemies both within and without. Terrorists, would-be friends inside and outside Israel, and even bad government officials. Here are the discussions of one proud Zionist resident on the state of the nation and abroad.

Britain's NHS makes some sense that the USA's AMA won't

The British NHS is willing to advise against indoctrinating children into transsexuality, in contrast to the AMA in the USA, which is far too obsessed with identity politics:
Most children who believe that they are transgender are just going through a “phase”, the NHS has said, as it warns that doctors should not encourage them to change their names and pronouns.

NHS England has announced plans for tightening controls on the treatment of under 18s questioning their gender, including a ban on prescribing puberty blockers outside of strict clinical trials.

The services, which will replace the controversial Tavistock clinic, will be led by medical doctors rather than therapists and will consider the impact of other conditions such as autism and mental health issues.
This is a very important viewpoint, one that the modern leftists in America are unlikely to admit makes sense. As Front Page explains:
Why can the NHS say this, but it’s off limits in the United States? For the same reason that the most prominent critics of it is J.K. Rowling, a British author.

Europeans are crazier than Americans when it comes to socialism, but Americans are crazier than Euros when it comes to identity politics. Race is much more toxic and encompassing in America. And so are the various political identities, including the latest one. The European Left still has stronger class warfare roots while the American Left has equated identity politics with liberation to such a degree that it’s wedded to it to a virtually inseparable degree. [...]
And this is why the AMA's unlikely to follow the UK's example anytime soon, if at all. Some people may have said the USA is one of the worst offenders in PC, and sadly, this kind of embarrassment only proves them correct.
