Uganda's president is right
Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni had a hilarious response to a request from LGBTQ activists — a response that is actually completely normal and appropriate but sadly unusual in Western countries that have become warped and cowed by woke propaganda.Yes, they're right about that. The actual meaning of "gay" is a synonym for "happy", "cheerful" and "joyful". It's only a slang for homosexuality that was regrettably hijacked by LGBT activists in the 1960s, one of the reasons why you rarely see it in use these days for its actual meanings, and similarly, even the word "queer" was hijacked. That word, in turn, is synonymous with "peculiar", "bizarre" and "weird", and since the 60s, it was also victim of PC hijacking. Seriously, it's time to reclaim the words from the leftists who've stolen it for the sake of propaganda.
When asked to meet with homosexual activists, Museveni just laughed.
In a recently posted Twitter clip of what appears to be a press conference, a woman asks, “The gay community in Uganda is requesting to have a meeting with you, would you give them an ear—“ The Ugandan president interrupts to ask, “What?” The woman switches her word, using the accurate “homosexual” instead of “gay.” Through most of its existence as a word, “gay” had nothing to do with homosexuality and is used by leftists as a positive term meant to mask the real perversion of homosexuality.
Anyway, Museveni did the right thing to point out he's not making deals with perversions that're only intended, besides leading to more perversions, to indoctrinate people into becoming Opposite Sex Rejectors (OSRs). We could honestly do without all that, and he was right to turn down meeting with these ideologues.
