2 Haredi teens in Bet Shemesh arrested for raping youngster
Two Israeli teenagers, both residents of Beit Shemesh, were arrested by Israel Police last week after one of the suspects confessed to raping and sexually and physically abusing a toddler only two and half years old.One of the suspects was involved in what could be described as incest rape, yet he's only remanded to house arrest? I'm sorry, but again, we have here a situation where they're too lenient on even half the defendants involved.
The suspect, 17 years old, told police he was coerced by another Beit Shemesh teen, 17.5, whom he had previously known to bring his infant family member to a construction site in the city, where they proceeded to brutally rape and abuse her in broad daylight.
Israel Police suspect that they carried out these acts over a prolonged period and on several instances. The toddler would only be returned to her daycare if she began to cry, police said.
Police arrest suspects after minor admits to raping toddler
Police arrested the 17-year-old suspect following his confession to Beit Shemesh district police officers. Later in the week, his suspected accomplice was also detained. A court extended the arrest of the main suspect, who was accused of orchestrating the heinous crime, while releasing the suspect who is related to the toddler to house arrest.
The investigation into the allegations has been completed, police said.Additionally despicable is that the same society that led to this abuse - in which the nursery where the infant girl was kept clearly didn't alert authorities - also recently produced an abominable advertisement that's hypocritical viewed in context of this scandal:
Police officer: Most inhumane case I have ever handled
The State Attorney's Office published on Thursday its intention to indict the main suspect, with the related suspect also set to be indicted in the coming days.
"This is a horrifying affair...this is the most inhumane case I have dealt with in all my years as a police officer and detective," Eliav Balmas, of the Beit Shemesh local police, said.
An advertising circular in Beit Shemesh is facing criticism and accusations of supporting pedophilia after running an advertisement demanding that young girls not play where men walking to synagogue can see them.So not only are these gender bigots, they're even anti-Israeli. Of course, don't expect LGBT ideologues to actually condemn their behavior towards the fairer sex, seeing how they're engaging in similar acts themselves. This is exactly what makes insular communities dangerous.
The unsigned advertisement was run in Afarsimon, a weekly circular widely distributed among the city’s growing ultra-Orthodox population. Reports indicated the ad was distributed specifically in Ramat Beit Shemesh D.
“Girls, on Shabbat leave the streets clear of games so we can get to synagogue,” the ad reads in Hebrew and Yiddish. “Play in the corner, in parking lots or yards.”
The advertisement also promises to enter kids in “expensive raffles” without elaborating.
The PSA was roundly criticized, as was the circular for agreeing to run it.
“An ad for normalizing pedophilia in the Haredi community,” tweeted Yossi Rainer, a spokesman for Beit Shemesh.
[...] In 2015, Afarsimon refused to publish a public service announcement on keeping kids safe during the Purim holiday because two of the charitable organizations placing the ad, Ezrat Achim and United Hatzalah, had “cooperated with Zionists,” the Shemeshnet website reported at the time.
