Anti-Israel protestors got training from leftist groups for months

Some new reports tell how what's been seen at university grounds lately was coordinated:
Anti-Israel protesters at many of America’s universities have been consulting with and sometimes trained by left-wing groups and activists, some of which have ties to support of terrorism, The Wall Street Journal reported Friday.

Protesters at universities across the country have consulted with groups like National Students for Justice in Palestine (NSJP) and Samidoun: Palestinian Prisoner Solidarity Network, in some cases resulting in months of training, planning and encouragement, according to the WSJ. Administrators and police have battled pro-Palestinian protesters in recent days at schools like Columbia and the University of California, Los Angeles, in some cases calling in officers with riot gear using tear gas and flashbangs.

Students at Columbia attended a “teach-in” run by former members of the Black Panthers prior to protesting, who educated them about handling internal disputes in political movements and discussed the parallels between gentrification in Harlem and the conflict between Israel and Palestine, according to the WSJ.

“We took notes from our elders, engaged in dialogue with them and analyzed how the university responded to previous protests,” said Sueda Polat, graduate student and organizer in the pro-Palestinian encampment at Columbia, told the WSJ.

The NSJP, which has over 300 chapters across the country, has been involved in the organization of many pro-Palestinian demonstrations on college campuses as of late, according to the WSJ. The group has utilized social media to give advice to protesters, like covering their faces and how to deal with police and protests, as well as calling for universities to divest from Israel.
To make matters worse, weapons were found at one of the encampments (Hat tip: Geller Report):
Anti-Israel protesters who occupied an academic building at Columbia University had signs that read “death to America” and “death to Israel,” a New York City Police Department (NYPD) official said on Friday.

“Pencils, books, laptops — those are the tools of students and what you expect to find on a college campus,” NYPD Deputy Commissioner of Operations Kaz Daughtry wrote on X/Twitter. However, when the NYPD entered Hamilton Hall — which encampment protesters took over — to remove the occupiers, it found “gas masks, ear plugs, helmets, goggles, tape, hammers, knives, ropes, and a book on TERRORISM [sic].”
And that's not stuff you would typically expect the average student to be carrying. If university managements really care, they'll follow Ron deSantis' example and deactivate all chapters on campus supporting these evil movements. So far, tragically, few seem likely to do so.

Update: it's now been revealed that the protests were funded by some of Biden's donors. It gets that disturbing by the minute.
