First pope from USA elected to lead Vatican

Following the death of the previous pope, Francis (who was regrettably very woke and made statements harmful to Israel), the Vatican elected a new one who's a USA native:
President Donald Trump congratulated Robert Francis Prevost after his election as pope Thursday, making him the first American-born pontiff in the history of the Roman Catholic Church.What'll matter most though, is whether the newly ordained pope Leo is more willing to be a realist than the previous one, and whether he's willing to defend Christians worldwide from Islamofascism. It also remains to be seen if he's willing to defend Israel. And that's something that as of now, remains to be seen.
Prevost, 69, of Chicago, will be known as Pope Leo XIV.
“It is such an honor to realize that he is the first American Pope,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
