It would seem the Daily Caller has at least one more rotten apple working for them besides their co-founder, Tucker Carlson, who's taking a repellent stance on Israel. Their editor at large, John Loftus, has taken a hostile position against Israel, using a poll influenced largely by Democrats as an excuse. What's disturbing here is the following:

The poll is the latest evidence that Israel’s propaganda campaign to justify the genocide of the Palestinians is failing, particularly among young Americans. It might also explain Israeli Benjamin Netanyahu’s desperate new recruitment of online influencers.

Hours after his embarrassing United Nations (UN) speech on Friday, in which numerous delegates walked out in protest, Netanyahu met with a group of American social media influencers to discuss a strategy for a pro-Israel propaganda campaign.

So on the one hand, he's parroting the anti-Israel accusation of "genocide", while disregarding the Israeli and Thai/Indian/Filipino victims of the Hamas massacre on October 7, 2023, and on the other hand, he's calling Netanyahu's speech to the UN an "embarrassment" without even clearly explaining what it brought up in discussion. The 1st smear is definitely offensive. And then Mr. Loftus adds insult to injury towards the end with:

Israel is deservedly losing the war of public opinion. Flooding Gen Z with astroturfed influencer campaigns and capitalizing on a billionaire takeover of the most popular social media app in the world are the only possible ways they could claw back support among young Americans.

But it definitely won’t work.

Which says all you need to know that he's a most disgraceful man, and if he calls himself a "conservative", he only give the standing a bad name. If that's Loftus' positions, we can only wonder what he thinks of al Qaeda's attack on the World Trade Center during 9-11, 2001. If he's hostile to Israel, why should we believe he's incapable of taking a similar approach to victims of 9-11?

Now, if we were to have a clearer look at the findings of the poll, one would notice the negativity towards Israel stems foremost from Democrats:

The New York Times/Sienna poll was reported under the headline, “Americans’ Support for Israel Dramatically Declines, Times/Siena Poll Finds.” However, the real news was buried, paragraphs later:

Much of the shift in views on Israel has been driven by a sharp decline in support by Democratic voters. Republicans largely continue to support Israel, though there has been a modest decline.

Seven in 10 Republicans said they supported providing additional aid to Israel. A majority of Republicans said Israel should continue the military campaign until all hostages were released, even if it meant civilian casualties. And 47 percent said that the Israeli military was taking enough precautions to prevent civilian deaths.

Republicans still sympathize with Israel more than Palestinians, 64 percent to 9 percent. But those numbers indicate a drop in support of 12 percentage points since 2023, when 76 percent sided with Israel.

One of the reasons for the Democrats’ falling support for Israel is the increasing radicalization of the party.

And that's something Loftus has obscured in his own twisted views of Israel. A most shameful and repellent man indeed.

One of the most offensive things about Loftus' screed is that he has put himself into the same boat as all the ignoramuses who're ignoring the plight of Christians in Nigeria, for example, at the hands of Islamofascists:

As we approach the second anniversary of Hamas mercilessly slaughtering 1,200 human beings on October 7, 2023, our media remind us daily of the death toll of Palestinians, according to the “Gaza Health Ministry,” which is run by Hamas.

It’s outrageous that these media outlets are such receptive publicists for mass-murdering terrorists. But they have effectively reversed the polarity, and the people of Israel are painted as the most horrible ghouls on Earth.

On the latest Real Life with Bill Maher, the stridently atheist host said something surprising. “I’m not a Christian, but they are systematically killing the Christians in Nigeria. They’ve killed over 100,000 since 2009. They’ve burned 18,000 churches,” Maher said, referring to violent Islamists in Nigeria, such as Boko Haram.

“This is so much more of a genocide attempt than what is going on in Gaza,” he added. “They are literally attempting to wipe out the Christian population of an entire country. Where are the kids protesting this?”

That is wokeness at work. The Palestinians are the “marginalized” brown people that need to be “centered” in the media. We know how overwhelmingly anti-Israel our most prestigious campuses are. Meanwhile, African Christians who are black aren't newsworthy.

This also proves anti-black racism is still prevalent. And Loftus is part and parcel of the ignorance and deception. Because the Daily Caller continues to employ awful commentators like him, I decided it best to remove their site link from my side menu, and it looks like they're another news site I'd rather read sparingly now. Carlson clearly isn't the only anti-Israel scumbag who's worked for them.
