Manchester jihadist was out on bail after rape arrest
0 Comments Published by Avi Green on Saturday, October 04, 2025 at 10:12 AM.The Manchester synagogue terrorist, Jihad al-Shamie, was out on bail for a suspected rape at the time of the attack, which claimed the lives of two Jewish people on Yom Kippur.Unfortunately, chances are the suspects connected with the jihad murder incident may never serve complete sentences in prison, or even be convicted at all. The UK has been spiraling downward, lest we forget.
Police have so far arrested six people in connection with the knife and car terror attack by Syrian migrant Jihad al-Shamie, 35, who was killed by police after launching a deadly attack at the Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation synagogue on Thursday in which he drove a car into worshipers and then embarked on a stabbing spree, wearing a fake suicide vest.
While the Syrian-born British citizen was reportedly not on the government’s watch lists for suspected terrorists, the Greater Manchester Police have said that they believe that Al-Shamie was likely motivated by “extreme Islamist ideology”.
The GMP also confirmed to The Sun newspaper that he was previously arrested on suspicion of rape but was released on bail at the time of the synagogue attack.
The police force said in a statement: “We believe Al-Shamie may have been influenced by extreme Islamist ideology. Establishing the full circumstances of the attack is likely to take some time.
“We have now arrested three further people, one man and two women, aged between 18 and mid-40s. This brings the number of people in custody arrested on suspicion of commission, preparation and instigation of acts of terrorism to six.”
On Friday, the GMP also named the two slain victims as 53-year-old Adrian Daulby and 66-year-old Melvin Cravitz, both from Crumpsall. A further three victims remain hospitalised with serious injuries.
Update: Nigel Farage's response to this case is:
Reform UK leader Nigel Farage, responding Friday to the Yom Kippur terror attack outside a Manchester synagogue and the pro-Palestinian demonstrations that erupted within hours, warned Britain is facing “societal breakdown,” declaring: “I feel more worried about the state of broken Britain than I ever have before.”I don't expect Kier Starmer's government to do anything proper about it. He never did anything to oppose the Muslim rape gangs in cities like Rotherham, and no chance he'll ever take any serious action to prevent the anti-Israel demonstrations that have been going on from occurring further either.
In a video message posted on social media, Farage set the tone with condolences and alarm in the wake of Thursday’s attack outside Manchester’s Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation, where worshippers Adrian Daulby, 53, and Melvin Cravitz, 66, were killed. He said the “scenes of Jewish people being butchered on the streets of Manchester yesterday” had “shocked many of us deeply, deeply to the core,” and he extended “our absolutely most sincere condolences” on behalf of himself and Reform UK.
Farage said the attack left Britain’s Jewish community “deeply fearful,” warning the problem ran “worse… bigger… deeper.” He argued that what unfolded on the streets compounded the horror: “Within just a few hours of this horrific incident, we saw in London, Glasgow, and elsewhere pro Palestinian flags on the streets, people out, previously unplanned demonstrating.” His point, he insisted, was that it was not protest but revelry: “But here’s the truth of it. They weren’t demonstrating. They were actually celebrating.” The Reform leader described the scenes as unprecedented in modern Britain: “I can’t even imagine we’ve ever seen such vile scenes on our streets. Certainly not in my lifetime.” [...]
Farage said Prime Minister Keir Starmer had “emboldened” these people by recognizing a Palestinian state two weeks ago, and he reminded the British public, “And never forget, this is the prime minister that took the knee just a few short years ago to an extremist group.”
