Rachel Avraham is a disgrace and should be ashamed of herself for writing anti-Armenian propaganda

I once thought the so-called journalist Rachel Avraham was somebody responsible. But based on the alarming number of articles she's written for several news sources that are hostile to Armenia and make it out to look almost entirely like they're no different from Islamic jihadists, boy, was I wrong about her. Here's one of her latest one-sided attacks on a country which, while I've never thought they're innocent and fully realize they've got bad apples among them, is nowhere near as satanically evil as she's making them out to be. And she's doing it all along with propagandists who're providing her with blood libels little different from antisemitism:
"The rocket attacks [by Armenia] on Ganja and other [Azerbaijani] cities are similar to what the Palestinians are doing now. The Armenians attacked civilians in the same way, in the middle of the night, killing many during the war, just like in Israel," local Rabbi Zamir Isayev said.

Ayav Israel, who heads the Azerbaijani Diaspora Youth in Israel, also explained: "Rockets are falling in Southern and Central Israel, just like they fell on Ganja, Barda, and Tartar. Both the Armenian forces and Hamas indiscriminately targeted civilians."

For this reason, Israel's war against Hamas is a just war, he said. "The absolute majority of Azerbaijani society supports Israel. Since the proclamation of our independence, we are two nations with a similar fate that fight for our right to exist every day."
First, I miss the part where Armenian officials are asked to comment on these allegations. Indeed, it's only Azerbaijani sympathizers who seem to be paying her lip service. Second, what about the following from an Israeli-based Turkish journalist who doesn't support Islamism, who reports on Azeri torture of Armenian POWs?
April 24 marked the 106th anniversary of the 1915–23 Armenian Genocide, which Ottoman Turkey committed. This genocide resulted in the systematic extermination of around 1.5 million Armenians. Meanwhile, Azerbaijan—with Turkey’s full support—continues its ethnic cleansing of Armenians on their indigenous land in the Republic of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) in the South Caucasus.

Azerbaijani servicemen tortured and killed 19 Armenian prisoners after the end of last year’s 44-day war
, lawyers Artak Zeynalyan and Siranush Sahakyan announced on May 3.

From September 27 to November 10 of last year, Azerbaijan and its ally Turkey bombed Artsakh. During these 44 days, Azeri and Turkish forces destroyed homes and other civilian targets. They murdered thousands of Christian Armenians and displaced about 100,000. Turkey also sent Azerbaijan mercenaries from Syria who had known affiliations to Islamic radical groups. Not only did these mercenaries personally testify to these details, but it was also confirmed by a United Nations report and several international media outlets.[...]

Almost six months after the suspension of the war, Azerbaijan is still holding an estimated 200 Armenian prisoners of war, including civilian captives. Their refusal to release these POWs is in violation of international law and the November 9 agreement.
Read the article in its entirety. Hmm, I wonder why Mrs. Avraham is keeping quiet about this information, and hasn't interviewed any Armenian reps, and practically failed to prove Israelis aren't hell-bent on making Armenians out to look inherently evil? It certainly says something when a native of Turkey shows more responsibility than a would-be Israeli.

Having discovered this, I'll say that Avraham's crossed a line, and I will not be linking to her work on any positive basis anymore. She has disgusted me beyond belief, and represents a serious embarrassment. It's bad enough the Begin government (and Elie Wiesel) refused to support a conference about Turkey's genocide against Armenians during WW1 back in 1982. Now, we have certain rotten apples acting as propagandists in the worst ways possible, going miles out of their way to convince everybody that Armenians are inherently sexist and racist, possibly as a repugnant excuse not to officially commemorate a tragedy preceding the Jewish Holocaust of WW2. Avraham's conduct is not acceptable, and I for one am willing to make a call for dismissing her from the payroll of any news outlet she's peddling her irresponsible propaganda in.
