This shouldn't be surprising, that one of the most dangerous Islamofascist terrorist cells would seek to target Israel's best friends in the Christian world. One Jerusalem provides some info on how they dared to attack one of the most respectable Christian movements with horrifying smears against them:

"To complete today's news, a Hamas bigwig told the Arab press, "We do not believe the West is an enemy, but we believe Christian Zionism is criminal." As we've stated many times this is a war against our religious way of life."

What the Hamas bigot who uttered the repugnant line above was doing, simply put, was resorting to a very slimy trick used quite often by monsters of that sort, in which they pretend that they're not "anti-west" as the monster puts it here, but rather, just "anti-Christian Zionist." In fact, I think that Martin Luther King may have described the above gimmick the best when giving his famous speech at the Boston/Harvard University campuses in the 1960s:

“And what is anti-Zionist? It is the denial to the Jewish people of a fundamental right that we justly claim for the people of Africa and freely accord all other nations of the Globe. It is discrimination against Jews, my friend, because they are Jews. In short, it is antisemitism. The antisemite rejoices at any opportunity to vent his malice. The times have made it unpopular, in the West, to proclaim openly a hatred of the Jews. This being the case, the antisemite must constantly seek new forms and forums for his poison. In a way, what the Hamas monster who smeared Christian Zionists is doing is exactly what the great King described in his time: seeking new forms for spreading his horrible poison around.

Update: Front Page Magazine announces that there is now a special Jewish activist movement specially launched for defending the rights of Christians.

Jews Against Anti-Christian Defamation was formed to combat anti-Christian prejudice in Hollywood, the news media, academia, politics and the courts.

At yesterday’s press conference, JAACD President Don Feder observed, "Jews Against Anti-Christian Defamation was organized because we understand that Christians are the last remaining obstacle to the moral deconstruction of America."

Feder continued, "Christians are under assault because of the values they embrace. But the morality of Christianity is also the morality of Judaism. By maintaining their loyalty to the eternal values revealed at Sinai, Christians have become pariahs in the eyes of the establishment but heroes in our eyes."

True indeed. I've certainly seen more than a few examples of Hollywood discrimination against religion, against both Christian and Jewish religion alike, and it's good that now, there's a special activity group launched to help defend the rights of the Christian community.
