Katrina: possibly the worst flood in US history

I would've tried to blog about this earlier, but I was on a trip up north yesterday. New Orleans has suffered from what could possibly be the worst flood storm in US history, a flood that's submerged close to 80 percent of the great city, yet it would seem as if network TV doesn't care, or they're just wasting their time offering up bad coverage.

Meanwhile, the blogverse offers up much better coverage of the disaster, as presented in the following, which include even a few blogs that were opened specially for covering the flood:

Michelle Malkin: One, two, three, four.
A Small Victory.
DeadlyKatrina.Com: One, two.
Storm Digest Blog: One, two, three, four.
The Political Teen.
Dissonance and Disrespect.
Hurricane Katrina: One, two.
Four Right Wing Wackos.
Cathouse Chat.
Dust my Broom.
Neil Cavuto
Winds of Change
Jewish Current Issues
The Dread Pundit Bluto
The Hedgehog Blog: One, two, three, four, five
The Daily Ablution
Power Line: One, two, three
Arthur Chrenkoff: One, two
Opinipundit: One, two, three, four
Command Post
USS Neverdock
Guns and Butter Blog
Blackfive: One, two, three, four, five, six
Mudville Gazette
Dr. Sanity

I do hope that New Orleans and its respectable citizens will be able to recieve the aid they need, unlike the Jewish residents of Gaza whom Ariel Sharon expelled from their homes, who didn't.

Hey, Avi! Thanks for the trackback - and I'm going to treat it as a comment on my Blogging for Hurricane Katrina Relief post so I can count it towards my donations for Soldiers' Angels. Each polite comment I get will add $5.00 (up to $300.00)!

Do you think I can make it? ;-)

Thanks again,

Oops, or you could go to this week's recipe and comment for $5.00 to the American Red Cross!

Hm. I'd like to say "thanks" in Hebrew, but I don't know how... But I do know "Shalom!"

Thanks, Romeocat! I certainly hope you'll be able to make it, and I wish you good luck on gathering the donations. :)

Oh, and in Hebrew, the word for thanks is "Toda". Your welcome! :)
