The BBC's anti-French bias
John Simpson, the BBC's world affairs editor and chief resident Arabist, incites against France with the following:
Translation: it's entirely legitimate for the Muslim rioters to resort to violence against France in order to achieve their "goals". And as long as it isn't taking place in Britain, that's okay, because Britain is "good" and doesn't deserve the violence.
This article is one of the most repulsive op-eds I've ever read. The French riot police, in Simpson's words, are "deeply aggressive and ferocious", and conservative France has "resentful attitudes". No kidding. And what does the conservative movement in Britain have then? Bad table manners?
What really makes this offensive is that it's coming just shortly after an older middle-aged man was beaten to death by an Islamist hoodlum while trying to put out a fire that the culprit started in a trash can. (H/T: Outside the Beltway and The Glittering Eye.) These cretins at the BBC clearly have no human qualities whatsoever, and don't deserve to be working in journalism at all.
If you can avoid paying your tax money to the BBC, make sure you do. Residents of France with cable TV should boycott their channels. This vulgar TV and radio station does not deserve an audience.
Hat tip: Jihad Watch.
Update: Mark in Mexico presents some good rebuttals of Simpson's distasteful little warmongering op-ed. And Biased-BBC also gives Simpson a good drubbing for his wrongdoing.

Thanks to the Revolution, violence even has a kind of virtue which it simply does not possess in a country like Britain. When government becomes incapable of change, the crowds in the streets have to do the changing for themselves.WHAT?!?
