Bleeding heart trash replete with sob stories

Well well, look what we have here: a classic example of a misleading headline, bleeding hearts, and sob stories. The Age writes, "Fears of attacks mar Sydney celebrations." But it turns out that those "celebrations" are by Muslims and their sympathisers. Pure bias at work here:
TWO weeks ago "people of Middle Eastern appearance" were singled out for attack at Cronulla in scenes of violence that shocked Sydney and flashed around the world.
Predictably, they forgot to mention that these same people had for years been harrassing the innocent citizens of the suburbs, as spoken about earlier.
Yesterday fears of more thuggery stopped people of that background from attending a low-key festival intended to celebrate multiculturalism. And those brave few who did go were given a chilling reminder that the poisonous atmosphere that sparked the riots still lies barely beneath the surface.

Jamal Daoud, a Blacktown community worker who thought up the festival as a gesture of reconciliation, said that about 2.30pm about 10 "Anglos" gathered near his group in a menacing way. "One of them said something racist but we could not quite make it out. Police moved in and started talking to them. We felt uncomfortable, so we got up and moved to a spot about 500 metres away.
Gee, I do wonder, is there any fact or base to what they say here? Can the police confirm any of this? Maybe something of the sort happened, but due to the ambiguous manner in which this gushy heartbleed is written, I can only assume Mr. Daoud is either lying, and certainly exaggerating. But one thing is for certain: this article is pure bleeding heart slime. And just look at what they were partying about: multi-culti, at that.
"We had told people to come," Mr Daoud said. "But we were asked 'Is it safe?' 'Are the police heavy-handed?'"
Apparently not.
A good crowd enjoyed the beach and those tucking into tabouli and hummus and taking turns to smoke from a water pipe felt fairly secure. They had been asked by others to go in first and report back on how things were.

Mr Daoud does not believe the problem of violence is over. "It shocked me to the core what happened two weeks ago. I could not believe anybody could come to Cronulla and say 'No more Muslims', 'Lebanese go home'.
No kidding. After all the crimes committed by those Muslim gangs over the years, you couldn't? Please, do keep going, you are just soooo hysterical, kiddo.
"I was shocked by what happened the following night (the revenge attacks)."
Suuuurre you were. If you were, then you would've said that the gangsters should be jailed and punished for their crimes, including this one. Whatever, the way it's all put together is so superficial, not to mention fuzzy in its viewpoint, that as a result, it crashes with a thud.
No significant incidents were reported at Sydney beaches yesterday, police said.

Joining Mr Daoud yesterday, Rihab Charida, 28, a welfare worker of Palestinian parentage, said: "The sort of racism in Cronulla is the easiest to deal with because it is so blatant. I see on a daily basis police stopping young guys because they look Arab."
Most insulting, though not surprising, about the Muslims they're quoting here, is how they never acknowledge any of the crimes that were committed by their own community against the native public of the country whose welcome they abused. And while the police may have stopped and questioned some suspicious characters, they haven't actually arrested a lot of them, so of course, what we see above is a sob story, replete with vapid whining. And I see that the second person interviewed here was of a background from around this district. Quite a few Muslim extremists here tend to whine like that too, so that Charida character's own whining is no surprise to me, really. Such Arab Muslims are even belligerent and bellicose among their own kind, one of the reasons why there's a civil war going on amongst their own just now as well.

Another most disappointing display of bleeding heart moonbattery from the newspaper includes their report on the ten terrorists suspects currently in prison:
MELBOURNE'S 10 terrorism suspects are spending Christmas in solitary confinement, dressed in "Guantanamo Bay orange" and banned from touching their loved ones.

Rob Stary, a lawyer for the Victorians arrested in a series of anti-terrorism raids last month, said yesterday the men's spirits were breaking in Barwon Prison's maximum-security Acacia unit. "It's very soul-destroying for them," he said.

Although the men are Muslim, spending this time of year in jail was nonetheless difficult as they saw Christmas as a traditional time for celebration with family, he said.

"They have got a great reverence for the Christian religion," he said. "They do see it (Christmas) as a season of celebration."
No kidding. Somehow, I can't help but wonder if they're really just exploiting the subject to justify their own blatant whining about "injustice". Boring.
The men are accused of being members of a terrorist organisation. Eight are also charged with financing a terrorist organisation, and Muslim preacher Abdul Nacer Benbrika, 46, of Dallas, is accused of directing a terrorist organisation.

Four men have applied for bail but have been refused.

Mr Stary said it was "inconceivable" that they were being held in Acacia without conviction. "I don't mean to sensationalise it, but it has to be marginally better than Guantanamo Bay," he said.
Sorry, but you did sensationalise it, I'm afraid. And the paper forgot to mention that the jail process has what to do with the new anti-terror laws drafted by the government to effectively combat terrorism, and also to send a clear warning to anyone thinking of wallowing in such filth that if they don't uphold the law, this is where they'll be headed. If tough measures aren't taken, we'll never get anywhere in stopping such crimes.
Mr Stary said his 10 clients had no complaints about their treatment by staff but the conditions were hard. "They're in solitary confinement … they're wearing Guantanamo Bay orange, they're shackled in the same way Guantanamo Bay people were," he said.
Ooooooohhh, I see! In other words, it's an attack on the United States' use of the Bay jail for holding dangerous criminals similar to what's being discussed here, while also pretending that these scumbags aren't in any ways comparable to those being held in the Bay prison. Well duh, if that's your position on the US, gentlemen, why didn't you just come straight out and say so? You'd at least be showing some honesty then about where in the blue blazes you stand, doncha think?
Mr Stary said the men were allowed no physical contact with family and could only speak to loved ones through glass.
Well boo-hoo, cry me a nice cold bath, why don't you.
He said they were political prisoners and Australia was breaching its obligations to treat them fairly.
You may have said, Mr. Stary-eyed, but the judges didn't, did they?
Mr Stary expects trials to take several years to begin and said there was no chance the men would be moved from Acacia to less imposing cells.

"When I saw them in jail they were dispirited. In two years' time they'll be broken," he said.

"The Muslim community in Australia would have a legitimate sense of grievance to see the way they're treated."
That does it! If this is how The Age is going to write their reports, then I'm taking them off my list of what to read. I do not need this kind of bleeding heart moonbattery in my household, that's for sure.

For the record, a so-called rally against racism flopped big time last week, drawing less than 2000 people (Hat tip: The House of Wheels). Interestingly enough, I don't think any Muslim women attended. There may have been some attending things like this in France, but in Australia, it appears that they were even more restricted by the male Muslims who dominate the scene.
