Cracks starting to form in Kadima party

Minister Meir Shetreet is starting to voice his opposition to Olmert's withdrawal plans:
Housing Minister Meir Sheetrit (Kadima) came out publicly Monday in opposition to Kadima Chairman PM Olmert’s unilateral withdrawal plan. Other Kadima ministers agree with Sheetrit as well.

Sheetrit said, “The current chances of implementing the realignment plan are very slim; there are many reservations, including my own. I do not believe in another unilateral disengagement.”

Ministers Gideon Ezra and Ze'ev Boim are said to agree that a unilateral withdrawal is not on the agenda at present.
Well then if not, perhaps they'd think wisely to return to the Likud and apologize for betraying the Likud to begin with. As was said at one point, you don't leave your home party, now do you?

About me

  • I'm Avi Green
  • From Jerusalem, Israel
  • I was born in Pennsylvania in 1974, and moved to Israel in 1983. I also enjoyed reading a lot of comics when I was young, the first being Fantastic Four. I maintain a strong belief in the public's right to knowledge and accuracy in facts. I like to think of myself as a conservative-style version of Clark Kent. I do not know if I'll ever be as good as him, but I do my best.
