Castro's last croak?
It looks like Cuba's dictator for close to five decades may be finally - and deservedly - biting the bullet. Michelle Malkin's got the starting details. He's already transferred power to his brother Raul, and will hopefully be gone soon.
With this news, it should be noted that there was a recent court decision by a judge supporting the ACLU's positions on enabling pro-Castro propaganda to remain on the shelves at school libraries, as reported by the equally pro-Castro BBC (via It Shines for All). I think action needs to be taken to protest that.
Until that can be dealt with, Little Havana in Miami is having a celebration over the news of Castro's road to croakdom, and I too am happy. But even if he's done for, his brother, Raul, still needs to have an eye kept on, and, if needed, to be deposed. The road to freedom for Cuba isn't quite over yet.
