Bush screws up on query about Saudi Arabia at press conference

Michelle Malkin has the details on president Bush's latest press conference, in which he even flubbed a question about the blame-the-victim tactics used against a victim of gang rape in Saudi Arabia. Presumably, he just cannot offend his friends, the Saudis.

It should also be noted that as of now, they're even going the Colin Powell route by claiming that Iran stopped its nuclear research program three years ago. John Bolton was right when he predicted that the Bush administration was unlikely to take action against Ahmedinejad's dictatorship. The Jerusalem Post has the following:
The threat of Iran obtaining nuclear weapons must not be underestimated, was the message government officials sent out on Tuesday after the release of a US intelligence report claiming that Teheran halted its nuclear weapons program in 2003 but was continuing to enrich uranium.
If they're continuing to enrich uranium, there's every chance that they're still conducting nuclear war research. To say that they're not is just an excuse to avoid taking responsibility, when serious action is needed against Iran to keep them from being able to get anywhere with the evil that they're always likely to conduct tomorrow.

I don't expect to be perfect at the job, but I do my best.
