Ed Morrissey still makes himself look ridiculous
About a week ago, Ed Morrissey, who's said some very stupid, bizarre things that have angered me before, went and wrote a post on Hot Air in which he praised Grover Norquist for tax reform. Robert Spencer was quite right to counter him, as he did, when he provided the following info written by Frank Gaffney at Front Page Mag. And here's some more from Daniel Pipes and also Debbie Schlussel.
I want to say that I am quite disgusted at Morrissey for offering any kind of positive word about someone as degrading as Norquist happens to be. Norquist is a horrid "politician" whom no decent person should have anything to do with. I haven't seen Morrissey writing anything like this trash lately. I'll congratulate him for that much. But that's still just a drop in the bucket, and he has a lot of explaining - and apologizing - to do for writing a "Mussolini made trains run on time" type of post, and lauding a horrid man like Norquist who does not deserve it.
