UAE declares CAIR a terrorist outfit
Many of us wonder which Muslim countries will publicly take a stand against Islamic terrorism? Well, it seems we have a definitive answer from one nation – the United Arab Emirates (UAE). I’ve previously stated the other major country standing against Islamic terrorism is Egypt – funny thing, it was Egypt and the UAE who flew airstrikes against Islamist forces in neighboring Libya. But the recent declaration from the UAE sends a very strong message that hits home in the United States. While this remarkable, don't expect Obama's administration to alter its relationship with them so easily. It'll probably be just business as usual, unfortunately.
As reported by The Daily Caller [1], “The United Arab Emirates has officially designated 83 groups as terrorist organizations, including two based in the U.S., the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and the Muslim American Society (MAS). UAE’s cabinet made the announcement following a meeting on Saturday. Other groups designated as terrorists include al-Qaida, al Nusra, Boko Haram and the Muslim Brotherhood (MB). CAIR’s designation is interesting given its high profile here in the U.S.”
We recently reported on CAIR’s designation of certain American citizens as “Islamophobes.” The office of CAIR is located just blocks away from Capitol Hill and its status as an unindicted co-conspirator in the nation’s largest Islamic terrorist funding case, the Holy Land Foundation, has resulted in it being declared “off limits” by the FBI. But as we’ve reported [2], there are some interesting individuals with links to CAIR and the Muslim Brotherhood – such as Mohammed Elibiary – who hold significant positions in the current Obama administration.
Also noted here is Turkish premier Erdogan's declaration that Muslims - not Columbus - discovered America:
The other question is why does the current administration promote policies that advance a closer relationship with countries that support Islamic terrorism like Qatar and Turkey? It is Qatar that provides residence for the leader of Hamas. It sounds like another very disturbing way of inciting Muslims to violence. And he even has the gall to put words in Columbus' mouth about what he allegedly saw in Cuba.
And we’ve addressed [4] the anti-Semitism and Islamism of Turkey’s leader, Recip Tayyip Erdogan – who just recently made an astonishing declaration himself. As reported by the Washington Post [5], “In a televised speech in Istanbul, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan claimed that Muslims had discovered the Americas three centuries before the voyages of Christopher Columbus. He was addressing a summit of Muslim leaders from Latin America. “Contacts between Latin America and Islam date back to the 12th century. Muslims discovered America in 1178, not Christopher Columbus,” Erdogan said. “Muslim sailors arrived in America from 1178. Columbus mentioned the existence of a mosque on a hill on the Cuban coast.”
If you know Islamic supremacist and imperialist dogma and traditions, you know the seriousness of such a declaration in the Islamic world. A world separated by Dar-al-Islam and Dar-al-Harb, and that wherever Muslims have ruled, or existed, that land must be recovered and ruled by Muslims.
