Once again, Trump disappoints on moving US embassy to Jerusalem

Donald Trump has again become a letdown by saying he wouldn't move the American embassy to Jerusalem, all because a "peace deal" between Israel and the PLO is supposedly far more crucial:
President Donald Trump told former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee in an interview broadcast on TBN Saturday that he would not move the U.S. embassy in Israel to Jerusalem until he had tried to broker peace between Israel and the Palestinians. It's regrettable if he considers making peace with an organization that adheres to evil more important in every way, shape and form than recognizing Israel's right to sovereignty over its own capitol. That's not going to do anything to encourage confidence in pro-Israelists, and won't change the anti-Israelists either.
The statement marks a significant walk-back of Trump’s campaign promise in 2016 to relocate the embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem “fairly quickly.”
