France needs a referendum on curbing illegal migration

Laurent Waquiez, the head of Les Republicains, has called for a referendum on how immigration should be handled:
Laurent Wauquiez, the president of French center-right The Republicans party, has said that he wants to hold a referendum in order to step up measures against migration.

The National Assembly has been discussing since Monday a draft law on asylum and immigration policies aiming at speeding up the review process for asylum claims to make it easier for the government to return migrants who fail to get asylum to their countries of origin.

The draft bill has sparked arguments between major political fractions, with several members of Macron’s La Republique En Marche! (Republic on the Move) party characterizing the reform as "stigmatizing," a violation of human rights or simply useless. Meanwhile, parties on the right, including Marine Le Pen’s National Front, have called for stricter measures to curb migration.
I just don't get why they're still calling Le Pen's party that instead of National Rally. But that aside, Waquiez has the right idea in mind to bring this up and draft a law to approach immigration properly.

But that's not all they should be doing. They should also be working to abolish any laws that destroy free speech. Otherwise, it could be very difficult to handle the crisis properly.

those Jews who plan their vacations for locations like:

benefit from its holiness and help our brothers economically."

A ban on renting apartments to Jews on France’s
Cote d’Azur reportedly has not been changed since
it was enacted under the World War II-era Vichy
government. The law requires that applicants
for certain apartments attest that they are:

“French, non-Jews, and not married to a Jew,
in the legal sense currently in effect.”

The newspaper Nice-Matin, which discovered the law,
reported that Jews who wish to buy an apartment
in Nice must pay an extra $1,000 to $10,000 in
notary fees to get around these articles,
and that such arrangements are probably in
effect in other towns in France as well.

French more accepting of infidelity
than people in other countries

(article for Pew Research by Richard Wike 2014/1/14):

Only 47% of French people agreed that
marital infidelity is unacceptable.
This percentage was the lower than
all other nations studied.

they are living in a grouchy, heavily

and where the small details of life are
made as wrenchingly difficult as possible…”
