J.K Rowling takes a good direction defending women's rights from the LGBT movement
J.K. Rowling has held the line on refuting transgender rhetoric, and for gender-critical women and real feminists, this is a glorious moment. We, the gender-critical, the terfs, those women who have spoken up over and over, are finally witnessing the manifestation of an ally who is simply too big to cancel. Rowling has tweeted, which is about as public as you can get these days, that men cannot become women and women cannot become men because biological reality is real. While homosexuality itself isn't a good role model, all this transgender propaganda is easily worse, as it's basically a form of male supremacy disguising itself as "female". Which is mainly what it's all come down to over the past decade. It's a shame Daniel Radcliffe, of all people, is basically throwing her under the bus now, the woman whose books-to-film he played the eponymous star of, because he by contrast has decided to go the lockstep route with PC. This acceptance of mental illness has ruined a lot of society over the past years, and it has to come to a halt, and advocates must cease their obsession. Also, they shouldn't be giving female sexuality a bad name, as they've been doing to boot.
Her statement contains no ambiguity. Rowling writes, “If sex isn’t real, there’s no same-sex attraction. If sex isn’t real, the lived reality of women globally is erased. I know and love trans people, but erasing the concept of sex removes the ability of many to meaningfully discuss their lives. It isn’t hate to speak the truth.”
There are things on which I disagree with Rowling. But this is one of those times when she really nails it well, and those PC advocates villifying her now should just shut up. Their 15 minutes of fame is up.
