Tel-Chai Nation

Israel, much like the fortress of Tel-Chai that Jospeh Trumpeldor fought to defend against Arab conquerors in 1920, finds itself beseiged by enemies both within and without. Terrorists, would-be friends inside and outside Israel, and even bad government officials. Here are the discussions of one proud Zionist resident on the state of the nation and abroad.

Women suffer badly when chivalry perishes

A writer at the Federalist discusses how the left has made the atmosphere incredibly dangerous for women, selectively or otherwise, due in part to how they've been heavily promoting transgender ideology, and also because of desensitization to violence. Which has, as a result, given a whole new meaning to woman-hatred:
The philosopher Montesquieu argued that the moral character of a civilization should be judged by how well or poorly it treats women and children. Now that the distinction between male and female has been erased and abortion has gone from being considered a “necessary evil” to a “positive good,” women and children are fair game.

For example, there was little uproar over the Indiana woman who was shot after telling Black Lives Matter (BLM) protestors that “all lives matter,” reports the New York Daily News. A 2017 video depicting a 60-year-old feminist being beaten by two young men was celebrated by trans activists on social media.

Also ignored are the numerous children who have been killed in this summer of violence. While protestors call for defunding the police, a handful of precious little girls have lost their lives in cities across the country. Not one of their names has made it into BLM’s murals or chants.
It's important to note that here in Israel, a violent sex crime was committed by at least five 14-year-old boys against a 12-year-old girl 7 years ago in Tel Aviv, and the bad education seen in the USA today played a part in the horrific incident at the time. Ruthie Blum wrote about it back then, and said:
Several explanations for this frightening phenomenon have been suggested, among them the following: 1) Kids are reaching puberty at a younger age than previously, making them hormonally driven, but behaviorally and emotionally immature; 2) Children spend most of their time on the Internet, exposed to pornography and violence on a regular basis; 3) Television shows, even during “prime time,” are heavy on sex and light on healthy relations between men and women; 4) Commercials and other ads use vulgar female sexuality as a draw for any and all commodities; 5) Parents spend little time with their kids, due to work schedules and other stress, leaving a vacuum of supervision and communication about “right and wrong” ; and 6) Many public figures accused of rape have gotten away with serving no jail time, which conveys the message that sexual assault is not such a big deal.

Every one of these theories, by itself, is as plausible as it is disturbing. Together, they paint a bleak picture that will take a lot more than government funding and school programs to rectify. This is the bad news.

The worse news is that there is an elephant in the room whose presence nobody dares to acknowledge, for fear of having to rethink decades’ worth of assumptions about “maleness” and “femaleness.”

Indeed, amidst all the analysis about the rise of rape, not a single expert or layman has mentioned that boys are no longer taught to treat girls with respect, deference, delicacy and chivalry. They are not instructed “never to hit a girl.” They are not educated about defending a girl’s honor.

Nor are girls taught to expect such treatment. On the contrary, the message that both genders have learned in school, in the scouts and in the army — like the perverted version they witness on TV and over the Internet — is that girls are no different from boys, even with regard to sex. Courtship is considered antiquated, while casual sex is called “friendship with benefits”.
Blum predicted some of what was to come 7 years back. And now, as seen in the US, it's gotten even worse, as violence has been normalized in the worst ways possible.
