The worst medical scandal of the century

J.K. Rowling's summed up what the whole transsexual scandal involving children should be considered as:
Enabling children in attempting to change their gender will be seen as “one of the worst medical scandals in a century,” Harry Potter author and ardent feminist J.K. Rowling said this week.

Rowling, 57, who was once hailed as a feminist hero by the left — particularly because she wrote the first of the Harry Potter books while on unemployment benefit, which has been used as an argument for state handouts and even universal basic income ever since — before becoming an object of disdain over her rejection of modern transgender ideology, has once again called out the medical establishment and the woke left for pushing novel theories surrounding gender on young children.

Speaking on The Free Press’ podcast The Witch Trials of J.K. Rowling, the acclaimed children’s author said: “We are watching one of the worst medical scandals in a century. Those that should have known better — the medics and those who have unquestionably cheered this on — are creating a climate in which those trying to raise red flags have been intimidated and silenced.”

“We’re dealing with children, in my view, being persuaded that a solution for all distress is lifelong medicalization. That is real-world harm. There’s no closing the book and walking away. There’s no playing with this, experimenting with this and not suffering harm, in my view… I certainly hope that for adults who have found no other way to resolve their gender dysphoria, transition may be the answer,” she added in comments reported by Fox News.

“I want to see those people protected. I want their rights protected. I wish them lives full of joy and fulfilment. But when we’re talking about children, I think that is a very different question.”
Well I do think it'd be far better if she argued that people should be taught to take pride in their gender, and condemn anybody who'd shame women for being what they are. That's how to better society, and protected class statuses can't be allowed to reign anymore.

In related news, Bill Maher says that the "Trans Day of Vengeance" should raise more eyebrows due to how disturbing the description alone is:
On Friday’s broadcast of HBO’s “Real Time,” host Bill Maher discussed the school shooting in Nashville and remarked that if there had been a day of vengeance planned by any other group like the planned Trans Day of Vengeance, the media reaction would be far stronger.

Maher said, “It’s like any — if you argue at all, you’re a bigot. And just the fact that they were going to have a Trans Day of Vengeance? Can you imagine any other group in this country announcing a day of vengeance in their name, what the reaction would be?”

He continued, “I just want to ask the trans people, what are we doing — or what should we be doing that we’re not doing? I asked my staff, I said — I mentioned the thing…that, yes, June of 2020, the Supreme Court ruled that the Civil Rights Act of 1964 applies to discrimination also based on gender identity and sexual orientation. I said, but I know Biden has done other stuff — I’ve got four pages of stuff the Biden administration has done, and maybe they’re all deserving. But I’m just saying, sometimes, I just don’t know, it seems like a power game with them.”
Tragically, that's exactly what it is. Worst, to emphasize "vengeance" is a clear hint at violence, and can't be approved of.

And on that note, Allyn Altieri's asking, following the Nashville bloodbath at a Christian school committed by a transsexual woman, if the LGBT flag should be banned in public spots, based on how it's becoming symbolic with violent hatred:
Given the Marxist demands to ban the Confederate Battle, "Betsy Ross," and Gadsden flags in public spaces following the death of known drug-dealer and convicted felon George Floyd and the resulting six killed and nearly 2,000 law enforcement officers injured and over two billion dollars in damage to public and private property by Antifa and Black Lives Matter terrorists, the time has come to look at banning a true symbol of hate and derision in our republic: the LGBT and trans pride flags.

Both flags are supposedly symbols of "inclusiveness," but the true colors of said flags have become manifest with the recent rise of mass murders and attacks by non-binary and transgendered attackers on Christian and public institutions, including the 2022 Colorado Springs shooter Anderson Lee Aldrich (male non-binary), 2019 Denver shooter Devon Erickson (female transgender), and 2018 Aberdeen shooter Snochia Moseley (male transgender). Additionally, a recent spate of public officials and media personalities supporting of the Trans Day of Vengeance, with accompanying symbols of weapons and knives, coming within days of the horrific murders in Nashville, prompted even a liberal-leaning institution like Twitter to ban images of the "Trans Day of Vengeance" posters.

The recent upturn in violence by members of the non-binary and transgendered communities are real, as seen by the recent attacks on supporters of women's rights like Posie Parker in New Zealand and the takeover of the Tennessee State Capitol. These actions are condoned by many even in the highest levels of state governments. Within hours of the Nashville murder of children and teachers, Democrat Arizona governor Katie Hobbs's press secretary, Josselyn Berry, tweeted an image that depicted a woman with two guns drawn, and it bore a caption that read, "Us when we see transphobes." Fortunately, the public outcry to this transgender threat of violence was so great that within 24 hours, Berry was forced to publicly resign, and Governor Hobbs was forced to issue an apology.

Finally, both the LGBT and trans pride flags have rightfully become associated with the trans grooming movement, a process that happens startlingly early in a child's life and can set him on a path to ruin, and asserts that parents have no right to decide what is best for their children's education and future. The recent parental victories against pro-grooming school boards in Florida and Virginia highlight the struggle that continues against the sexualization and indoctrination of children. This includes drag queen story hours, drag shows involving children, the transitioning and medicalization of minors, and gender theory being taught in the classroom.
This also has me wondering: why no storytelling venues hosted by actual women, or even fashion models? By refusing to try out ideas like those, all the LGBT advocates producing the drag shows prove is that they're sexist towards actual women, and again, drag queening is just another form of blackface. So maybe to bar flag symbols like the aforementioned would do some good for a change. There certainly needs to be a distinction made between what's good or bad symbols.

Update: the organizers of the "trans day of vengeance" have announced they're canceling it, but they're doing it through a victim culture mentality:
Organizers of a Trans Day of Vengeance protest in front of the Supreme Court have called off the event over what they describe as a “credible threat to life and safety.”

The Trans Radical Activist Network posted a notice on TikTok announcing that the rally scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday had been canceled and would be replaced by an online event to be held at 2 p.m. Saturday.

[...] The protest calling for “vengeance” drew fierce criticism in the aftermath of Monday’s deadly shooting at the Covenant School in Nashville by a woman who identified as male. The assailant was shot dead by police after killing six people, including three children.

Twitter automatically removed more than 5,000 posts advertising the rally, tweeting: “We do not support tweets that incite violence irrespective of who posts them.”

“’Vengeance’ does not imply peaceful protest. Organizing or support for peaceful protests is OK,” said Ella Irwin, Twitter chief of trust and safety.
Andy Ngo noted that Antifa was involved in the organizing. That too says all you need to know what's wrong with the whole picture.

Update 2: Virginia's lieutenant governor makes a serious point that when somebody does something as heinous as what Audrey Hale did in Nashville, it's offensive to complain about "misgendering":
Virginia Lt. Governor Winsome Sears (R-VA) said it was ridiculous for people to be concerned about “misgendering” the woman who murdered six people at a Christian school in Nashville this week.

Sears made the comments during Friday’s episode of “Real Time with Bill Maher” where she appeared on a panel alongside journalist and author James Kirchick.

“This person murdered six people, I don’t really care who you say you are. You murdered six people, and three of them were children. You don’t get a say. Well, she’s dead now, but you don’t get a say in telling us who you are and what you’re about. You killed six people,” Sears said.
Throughly correct.
