Hostages of Hamas will hopefully be freed, and battle against the jihadists will hopefully continue
Qatar affirmed that the hostage deal would go into effect on Friday, with a pause to the Gaza war starting at 7 a.m. and the release of 13 out of a group of 50 captives on Friday. The Muslim prisoners in Israeli jails who're said to be released are those who haven't committed murder, but even so, if you agree with John Bolton, he says it's a bad deal, and Joe Biden and company aren't exactly siding with Israel here, and never really have.
It said that the list of who will be released has been handed to the Mossad and that captives who are related to each other would be freed together.
“The important thing is that we will maintain a clear line of communication” and will guarantee the release of the hostages, he said.
We have to hope all hostages will be released, but also that the IDF will continue its mission of smashing the Hamas into pieces.
Update: while we're on the subject, here's some reporting on the tunnels found under structures like mosques in the Gaza strip.
Update 2: also of note, the IDF arrested the director of the Shifa hospital on suspicion of connections with Hamas' activities, and they also discovered many more weapons.
