Will they or won't they?

It's been reported that several Jewish entertainment performers have met with TikTok management, trying to get them to put a stop to antisemitism on their platforms:
The New York Times reports that Adam Presser, TikTok’s head of operations, and Seth Melnick, the company’s global head of user operations convened a meeting with more than thirty major Jewish social media influencers to urge the company to combat antisemitism on its platform.

The meeting included big names including Sacha Baron Cohen, Debra Messing, and Amy Schumer.

British Jewish actor Sacha Baron Cohen denounced TikTok for allowing antisemitism on the platform and demanded that it come to an immediate halt, calling it 'the greatest tool of antisemitism since the Nazis.' Baron Cohen also warned that indoctrination starts young - a fact particularly relevant to TikTok, which multiple studies have found to be the most popular platform for children. “If you think back to October 7, the reason why Hamas were able to behead young people and rape women was they were fed images from when they were small kids that led them to hate,” Cohen said.

Melnik and Presser claimed that the process would not be as simple as Baron Cohen insinuated, but urged TikTok to stop the use of the phrase, “From the river to the sea,” which has long been associated with calls to destroy Israel. Executives pushed back, saying that the phrase was open to interpretation. Many of those participating injected to the idea that the phrase could be used "casually," and Messing urged the executives to reconsider.
I think any balking on the part of the executives is like a tacit admittal they don't want to cooperate. And that's why they don't deserve usage of their platform, yet tragically, no telling if any parents will prevent their children from using it. Parenthood, as we know it, is one of the biggest casualties of today's world. The subject has also been addressed by Wisconsin Republican Mike Gallagher, who said:
Young TikTokers promoting terror leader Osama bin Laden and his propaganda are “massive idiots,” according to Rep. Mike Gallagher (R-WI) who slammed their “absolutely disgusting” justification of the September 11 attacks and called for a ban on the Chinese-owned and influenced app before the Chinese Communist Party “checkmates the free world by controlling the dominant media platform in America and spreading this dangerous, disgusting nonsense.”

In an exclusive statement to Breitbart News, Gallagher, who serves as chair of the Select Committee on China, addressed the recent phenomenon of young Americans going viral on TikTok sympathizing with Osama bin Laden and recirculating his 2002 letter in which the terrorist leader attempts to justify the mass murder of Americans on September 11, 2001.

Bin Laden was the mastermind of those attacks which took place 22 years ago and saw Islamic terrorists crash passenger jets into the World Trade Center in New York and the Pentagon — with an additional plane crashing in rural Pennsylvania following a passenger revolt — killing nearly 3,000 Americans.

“Well, these people are, of course, massive idiots,”
Gallagher said of the young TikTokers expressing support and sympathy for the slain terror leader.

Describing the “true face of evil” of Islamic terror, he slammed the “absolutely disgusting” justification of it.

“I just came from watching the footage that the Israeli embassy compiled about the October 7th attack. It is horrific,” he said. “You are seeing Hamas kill infants and behead innocent civilians with garden hoes. These images are disturbing and show the true face of evil.”

“So for someone on TikTok to suggest that this is America’s fault, or that bin Laden — who killed thousands of innocent Americans — was right, is absolutely disgusting,”
he added.

According to Gallagher, the phenomenon is “further evidence that we have to ban TikTok or force a sale before the Chinese Communist Party checkmates the free world by controlling the dominant media platform in America and spreading this dangerous, disgusting nonsense.”
Following this scandal, TikTok management actually said they were removing videos condoning bin Laden. Yet even then, there's still only so much more repulsive stuff on their site that they likely haven't taken down yet. For now, this all serves as a sad reminder of how desensitization to violence in the USA and elsewhere has resulted in whole generations openly voicing acceptance of savagery against innocent people, including and not limited to Jews.

Even on the right, as Robert Spencer reminds, there's very bad actors at work who've tried to form alliances with the Religion of Peace, because of its alleged opposition to LGBT ideology:
The left, of course, has loved Islam for many years now. Even before 9/11, Islamic groups such as the Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) adopted the left’s tactic of charging that all critics of Islam, including even foes of jihad terror who were simply exposing the motives and goals of the terrorists, with “racism” and “bigotry.” Muslims, CAIR and its allies contended, were an oppressed class, victimized for being “brown,” despite the fact that there are Muslims, and Islamic jihadis, of all races. A new sin, “Islamophobia,” was invented to intimidate people into thinking it was somehow wrong to oppose jihad violence and Sharia oppression of women.

The left embraced this wholeheartedly, leading to a lasting alliance that has given us the winsome and patriotic Reps. Ilhan Omar (D-Mogadishu) and Rashida Tlaib (D-Ramallah), and a society-wide fear of the personal and professional ruin that can come from being accused of “Islamophobia.”
This alliance is showing some signs of strain lately over the left’s obsession with normalizing insanity, sexual deviance, and perversity, but the Oct. 7 attack showed that the bond between the left and Islam is still strong. Leftists eagerly purvey Hamas’ propaganda about how many civilian casualties have resulted from Israel’s defensive action in Gaza, and Israel is drawing increasing fire from leftist leaders including Canada’s Justin Trudeau and France’s Emmanuel Macron

The strains in the leftist/Islamic alliance, meanwhile, have awakened a new love for Islam on the right. Many social conservatives have noted that Muslims are among the only groups in the U.S. standing up against the delusion that a man can become a woman and vice versa, and that those who wish to do so are of perfectly sound mind. Muslims are also among the few who are resisting the left’s insistence on placing pornography in primary schools. This has led some patriots to imagine that a new alliance can be formed between pious Muslims and social conservatives; this is, in fact, not a new idea on the right, but one that no less a luminary than Dinesh D’Souza advocated as far back as 2007.

The fallacy of this kind of thinking, however, is that even if Muslims are willing to make common cause with non-Muslim social conservatives, this will not lead them to abandon the tenets of their faith that call for them to make war against and subjugate unbelievers. The shared distaste for the left’s perversions and delusions cannot be and will not become the basis for a new accord that will allow Muslims and non-Muslims to live together in peace. The Islamic imperative to “fight them until persecution is no more and religion is all for Allah” (Qur’an 8:39) will remain.

Antisemites on the left and the right, meanwhile, have always loved Islam for its deep-rooted hostility to the Jews. The Qur’an even projects that hostility upon its target: “You will find the Jews and the idolaters the most vehement of mankind in hostility to those who believe.” (Qur’an 5:82) We saw this most recently, and most revoltingly, demonstrated in the TikTok craze for Osama bin Laden’s 2002 letter to America, which excoriates the Jews for supposedly oppressing the Palestinians, and declares: “The first thing we are calling you to is Islam.” Nick Fuentes and others who have hijacked the “America First” slogan to contextualize and justify their Jew-hatred and Israel-hatred love Islam for being so tremendously negative toward the group for which they blame virtually everything. Marxist professors who have always hated Israel for being a standing rebuke to the left’s collectivism and destruction of individual cultures (and of individuality itself) love Islam for lending itself quite well to collectivism and hating Jews just as much as they do.
This, of course, was why Michelle Malkin's career collapsed in the past 4 years or so. One can only wonder what she really thinks of the Religion of Peace if she's going to associate with somebody like Fuentes. It's worth noting that Islam is ostensibly against drinking alcohol, but all that symbolizes is a form of moral hypocrisy, when you consider all the physical/sexual abuse incorporated in the koran.

Those on the right who truly care, must of course, do everything to keep people like Fuentes a safe distance away from all sensible people. And, lest we forget, all concerned parents cannot allow their children to waste time on TikTok, and must not allow their children to attend school classes run by far-left ideologues either. There's been only so much damage caused by complacency and lack of vigilance, and now we're long seeing the tragic results.
