Antisemitism in China
Since Hamas’ unprovoked Oct. 7 massacre, anti-Jewish hate has exploded on TikTok. This isn’t surprising, considering the Chinese communists who own TikTok have long encouraged antisemitism. This is something Israelis will have to consider if they're going to host videos on TikTok themselves. Anybody signing up for use of their systems should have their heads examined. TikTok is truly one of the most repulsive social networks and video hosts on the planet. Making matters worse, it's been discovered there's all sorts of bigoted people there who're justifying the 9-11 attacks after they read a letter by Osama bin Laden originally published by the UK Guardian:
State-run media in China regularly say Jews control the world economy and foreign policy. Execrable social media types cheer on Hamas and claim Israelis are Nazis. Chinese company Baidu literally erased Israel from their maps. When Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen visited Beijing this summer, China debated whether she had “dual loyalty” to the United States government and Wall Street.
Therefore, in the wake of Hamas’ genocidal pogrom last month, lies about Israel exploded on the Chinese-run social media platform. When reminded that massive misinformation and antisemitism engulf their platforms, TikTok claimed it’s trying to combat the surge in bigotry.
Until then, the brainwashing of the dumbest voices will continue as TikTok creates conditions for anti-Semitic violence on our streets.
Videos showing people reading Osama bin Laden’s 2002 letter justifying the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon went viral Wednesday evening, prompting a media outlet to delete its translation of the document. Now this is horrifying indeed, and besides the fact that a Chinese-owned social network is being used to host propaganda, it also shows there's a chilling amount of scum in the USA who really do support the horrors al Qaeda visited upon the USA over 2 decades ago.
The Guardian deleted the letter Wednesday after it had been active on the site since being published on Nov. 24, 2002, directing readers to an article from that date about the letter. Videos on the Chinese-owned social media app TikTok showed users reading the letter, Rolling Stone reported.
“Now trending on social media (especially TikTok) people saying that after reading Bin Laden’s ‘Letter to America,’ they now understand terrorism is a legitimate method of resistance against ‘oppression’ and America deserved to be attacked of 9/11,” Republican Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida posted on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“American university students have become so ‘progressive’ that they are now praising Osama Bin Laden and his essay ‘Letter to America,’” Visegrad24 posted on X. Bin Laden started the essay by complaining about “Jewish control over money.”
The Guardian’s deletion of the letter drew comment from Yashar Ali, a writer for the Huffington Post and NY magazine. “The Guardian had a copy of ‘Letter to America’ posted, but once these TikToks went viral, the Guardian took it down, which has only led to more interest in the letter and conspiracies from TikTokers who say this is part of the media and the powers that control it trying to silence the truth,” Ali posted on X.
“Wait, all the hubub about Bin Laden’s ‘Letter to America’ that @guardian deleted … this same one @ForeignPolicy published years ago?” a military blogger using the pseudonym “CDR Salamander” said in a post on X.
Bin Laden was killed by U.S. Navy SEALs in a raid on his compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan, on May 1, 2011.
It's time even Israelis stopped buying Chinese-made products if this is how they're going to go about business. Nobody should be buying their cars and trucks due to how they're pushing only so much repulsive pro-terror propaganda. The time to quit buying Chinese-made vehicles is now.
Update: here's more on the subject at the American Thinker, and Newsbusters reports that ABC ignored the news.
Update 2: now the TikTok management says they're taking down videos promoting bin Laden's bigoted letter. But there's still only so much wrong with their MO, as the end paragraph here reminds:
As Breitbart New previously reported, TikTok, owned by a hostile foreign nation, has already shown itself to be be meddling in other country’s business, a national security threat, as well as a danger to teens and kids.So while it's horrific there'd be people on TikTok condoning acts of jihadism against America along with Israel and other places, shouldn't the management also be cleaning out all the awful pro-LGBT propaganda and other stuff that's hurtful to children? When will they start to deal with that convincingly?
Update 3: the Navy Seal who terminated bin Laden in 2011 has responded to the chilling news:
Robert O’Neill, the Navy SEAL who killed bin Laden, responded to the trend: “Deceit is a mask the Devil puts over the eyes of useful idiots.”Obviously, the parents of the creeps have considerable blame to shoulder as well. And they should be roundly condemned for allowing their children to be influenced by some of the worst the left has to offer, both in and out of the USA.
Others reacted, too. Politico Noam Blum said, “TikTok brain is reading a rant by Osama bin Laden, realizing you agree with him on everything, and concluding not that you need to rethink your life, but that you need to rethink your priors about Osama bin Laden.”
“Osama Bin Laden is being praised on the left for attacking America,” radio host and Outkick founder Clay Travis posted to X. “And TikTok is helping these clips go viral to idiot kids. This is what happens when for a generation the left has taught kids that America is evil.”
“If you kids think Bin Laden made some good points, wait’ll I tell you about a vegetarian former art student with an ironic mustache whose impassioned manifesto about the Zionist oppression of his people sparked a worldwide movement,” David Burge mocked, adding, “I feel I’m gonna regret this tweet because these motherf***ers are so stupid the next Tik Tok dance craze will be goosestepping.”
Journalist Megyn Kelly zoned in on the parents of some of the younger people participating in the trend. “To the parents of all of these losers suddenly persuaded by the deranged musings of the man who murdered 3k American innocents: you failed,” she wrote. “You were likely boozing, marching for some L-wing cause and/or simply ignoring your kids. You failed to teach wrong from right, a proper moral code, a love of country and perspective on America’s role in the world. [Because] you failed, my kids and others are going to have to grow up battling these a**holes for the future of the United States. I have every confidence they can do it, but I resent and judge you for making it necessary as opposed to fostering a life in which they can focus solely on growth, joy, love, family, hard work and creation.”
“No point getting bogged down in it however, trust me when I tell you that the majority of Americans – this generation and the next – will fight to defeat the pernicious lunacy you’ve unleashed,” Kelly added. “And we will win.”
