As somebody who once watched Baywatch, easily David Hasselhoff's most famous TV show, it's sad to learn that his former wife Pamela Bach, who sometimes made appearances there too, committed suicide:
David Hasselhoff’s ex-wife Pamela Bach-Hasselhoff reportedly died by suicide at the age of 62.My condolences. It's very sad this had to happen.
Law enforcement officials told TMZ that Bach-Hasselhoff’s relatives grew concerned when they couldn’t reach her and wanted to check on her well-being. Paramedics responded to her home shortly after 10 p.m. on Wednesday for reports of an unconscious female. Hasselhoff was declared dead on-scene from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to her head. Authorities said they did not find a suicide note.
Los Angeles Police Department officers arrived shortly after Bach-Hasselhoff was located, according to TMZ.
David Hasselhoff issued a brief statement to the outlet saying, “Our family is deeply saddened by the recent passing of Pamela Hasselhoff. We are grateful for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time but we kindly request privacy as we grieve and navigate through this challenging time.”
