Sydney Sweeney would make a perfect representative for Judaism, if she converts

Actress Sydney Sweeney's rumored to be considered a conversion to Judaism, based on her relationship with music producer Scooter Braun:

Hollywood's most talked-about romance of the year keeps generating headlines, and this time the story has taken a distinctly Jewish turn. According to rumors, "Euphoria" and "The White Lotus" star Sydney Sweeney is weighing a dramatic, life-changing step for her partner, successful Jewish American music producer Scooter Braun – conversion.

The conversion rumors surfaced after the popular gossip account Deuxmoi reported that the Emmy-nominated, 29-year-old actress was spotted at synagogue with Braun during Rosh Hashanah prayers. People close to the couple say Sweeney is head over heels in love and is eager to build a Jewish home with him.

It would be a striking shift for Sweeney, who was raised in a devout, conservative Christian household. Braun, 45, by contrast, comes from a Conservative Jewish family, grew up keeping kosher, and is the grandson of Holocaust survivors. Reports suggest Sydney's push to fast-track both the wedding and the conversion has unsettled her Christian family, who are wary of just how quickly the relationship has moved.

Again, Sweeney's an amazing girl, based on her solidarity with Israelis, and if she converts, she could become what the Judaist movement needs: a sex symbol in entertainment. Of course, to convert, she should not have adhere to any dress code or wear a wig like a Columbian soap opera start did when she converted. By doing that, she not only validated propaganda that being beautiful is somehow inherently wrong, in and out of marriage, she was also erasing her national history. And that's wrong. So I hope any rabbis who oversee a conversion for Sweeney will do it in a way that respects her ethnic/national heritage, along with her God-given gifts. That's the real way to manage the Judaist religion.
