Once again, Israeli prosecution service throws Gal Uchovsky's victims under the bus

There was a 5th accusation of sexual abuse made against the homosexual activist showbiz writer Gal Uchovsky some time ago, but again, it looks like the Israeli prosecution service won't indict this far-left ideologue for his crimes:
The sexual misconduct case against Israeli TV personality, journalist and producer Gal Uchovsky was closed on Sunday, the Central District Prosecutor's Office announced.

Following the investigation conducted by Israel Police, the case was transferred over to the office, which ruled that despite the reliable nature of some of the complainants' accounts of the incidents in question, Uchovsky's alleged actions do not cross the criminal threshold and, by law, are not considered a sexual offense.

[...] In a statement announcing the closure, the Central District Prosecutor's Office wrote that "following the examination of all evidence found in the case," it moved to dismiss the case against Uchovsky.

"While the complainant's testimony was found to be credible, the acts they alleged do not cross the criminal threshold."
This is, quite simply, a shoddy, illogical excuse for not prosecuting a protected-class activist. But, as noted before, the authorities also failed to take proper action for dealing with the now deceased Haredi author Chaim Walder, who was also accused of serial sexual abuse (another man from a similar background, Yehuda Meshi-Zahav, one of the co-founders of the ZAKA medical service, recently died after attempting suicide last year following similar accusations against him).

Unlike the 2 cases in the Haredi community, however, chances are the case involving Uchovsky will be buried by the MSM, and nobody's going to write any op-eds making clear why the LGBT community must act responsibly when dealing with sexual abuse within their movements, unlike the Walder case, where various commentators did discuss the need for dealing with the subject in Haredi communities. Nor will the MSM make clear that by refusing to prosecute Uchovsky, the law offices have slighted his victims, turning them into sacrificial lambs for the sake of PC directions. Let's hope they file a lawsuit against Uchovsky in the meantime, until something can be done to mend the severe damage this whole travesty of justice represents in the legal system.
