Katyusha rockets hit Nahariya and Tiberias
The damage resulting from Ariel Sharon's retreat and negligence continues. Now, with the Hezbollah attacking Israeli targets anew, they've also struck Tiberias and the lower Galilee, and two people were murdered as a result:
Update: an Israeli naval ship was struck by a missile that may have been developed in China (H/T: Pierre Legrand, who's got more here). Michelle Malkin also has more.
Update 2: Michelle and Small Dead Animals point to a very good essay by Oriana Fallaci on Front Page Magazine. Interestingly enough, she wrote that she'd never been tender with the "tragic and Shakespearean figure of Sharon." Now, following much of the damage he ended his career committing, by expelling Jews from their homes in Gaza without even compensating them, and leaving the door wide open for PLO/Hamas rocket attacks, I'd say she and others, both in and out of Israel, should have even less to be tender about with him.
Update 3: A Simple Jew got an e-mail from Hebron.Com asking to pray for four children who were injured in Tzfat.
Update 4: Israel at Level Ground says that Israel Army Radio reports that the Hezbollah's leader has been wounded. Let's hope he goes to hell soon.

Four Katyusha rockets landed in the Galilee resort city of Tiberias, located 35 kilometers (20 miles) from the Lebanese border, on Saturday. Additional rockets landed further east and north -- in Kfar Hitim, Evron, and Abu Snan. Channel Tiwo reported that more than 60 people suffered shock and three light injuries from shrapnel. What area is really safe now? As long as Ehud Olmert and Amir Peretz continue with their slapdash approach, nowhere is really secure.
Rockets also landed Saturday in Carmiel, Hatzor Haglilit, Peki'in, Safed, Nahariya, and Moshav Ben-Ami, in the western Galilee.
Two rockets hit empty homes in Carmiel and Safed. Another landed near Carmiel College, causing a brushfire.
Friday a woman and her 5-year-old grandson were killed and four others were injured when a Katyusha rocket slammed into a home in Moshav Meron. They had come to Meron from Nahariya, hoping to reach a safer area.

Thanks for the mention. This war (rather, a defensive counterattack) is bringing bloggers together like nothing else, not even the World Cup.

I also want to thank you for the mention. Just added you to my blogroll, don't know why I hadn't done so before, my apologies. Would you be able to add my site to your blogroll, too? Thanks!
