Hilary Clinton signals where the Obama administration really stands
On the issue of "settlements". While Obama himself may not have actually brought this up, Hilary has, probably because it's easier that way:
"We want to see a stop to settlement construction, additions, natural growth - any kind of settlement activity," declared Clinton in some of the Obama administration's clearest comments to date on what it expects from Israel. She was speaking to Al-Jazeera in an interview, of which the State Department released a transcript on Wednesday. The part about "natural growth" is the most offensive part. That is like saying that a woman is not allowed to get pregnant, which, now that I think of it, almost alludes to Obama's own support for abortion. (Update: and on that subject, it's worth noting that a good percentage of Americans are now more pro-life than pro-abortion.)
