Britain's Ofsted would be more convincing if they were as concerned with Muslim madrassas as they are with Haredi yeshivas

A writer at Commentary (via Mosaic) told how the British Ofsted apparently wants to force an ultra-Orthodox girls' school in Stamford Hill to teach homosexuality, and no doubt, why they think it's entirely valid practice.
I think it's regrettable the UK considers homosexuality acceptable and a role model. But that's no excuse for failing to make distinctions between specific religions.
Update: since we're on the subject, a Swiss haredi school is going to close because of their own censorship scandal:
Yesodey Hatorah was also deemed [lacking] by the standards of British secular progressivism and the sexual revolution. The curriculum de-emphasized global warming. Students didn’t learn much by way of sex education and especially about homosexuality, which, according to an earlier report, deprived them of “a full understanding of fundamental British values” and limited their “spiritual, moral, social, and cultural development and [did] not promote equality of opportunity in ways that take account of differing lifestyles.” Finally, Ofsted rapped the school’s knuckles for failing to expose the girls to [members of] the opposite sex.I'd noted before that the school did commit some wrongs by censoring and mutilating textbooks, which only compounds the notion they have no confidence in their ability to teach why homosexuality is wrong. Mainly because the way they uphold gender segregation practically influences homosexuality, and I'm sure some of the overlords in Haredi society know it, and don't care a lick. But what really botches Ofsted's complaints is that they won't even take the same hard stances with Muslim madrassas. Although, interestingly enough, the article also says:
The attack on Yesodey Hatorah is part of a larger campaign against religious education in the UK. Faithful Jews, Catholics, and Muslims are all targets. . . . The senior government adviser Louise Casey [told] the House of Commons: “It is not OK for Catholic schools to be . . . anti-gay marriage. I have a problem with the expression of religious conservatism because I think often it can be anti-equalities.” If and when totalitarianism arrives in the West, it will carry the grammatically appalling banner of “equalities.”Regarding the Muslim schools, is that for real? Because maybe it isn't, though I will note that, if Commentary's not making a distinction, that's very unfortunate. There's a difference between good and bad, even with religion. So I suggest they get some brains when dealing with these subjects.

Education Ministry inspectors found teachers and school officials heavily censoring books and pictures, deleting references to reproduction and child protection helpline contact details.If this is correct, they were wrong to omit topics like child help services, along with subjects like French/English, and so they have only themselves to blame for leading to the closure of the school. I just hope the Swiss government views Islamists the same way.
A Jewish school in Zurich will be shut down at the close of the summer because of its failure to meet the Swiss state’s pedagogical requirements, an Education Ministry official said.
Inspections of the haredi Orthodox Yeshiwe Ketane found insufficient attention was being paid to mathematics, French and English. [...]
The Swiss school, which has approximately 600 students, came under increasing scrutiny after 2005 following the adoption of stricter criteria by the government. “Yeshiveh Ketane is the only Jewish school that has not yet implemented the requirements of the National Board of Education,” Marion Volger, head of the Public Education Office at the Zurich canton, told Tachles. She said that “according to the principal’s message, he will no longer continue school operations from the summer of 2018.”
