Amy Coney Barrett's path to SCOTUS more guaranteed now that Democrats admit they can't stop her
The Daily Wire reports that Donald Trump's nominee to the US supreme court, Amy Coney Barrett, is looking pretty good, now that the Democrats admit they can't prevent her:
Democrats have (largely) shifted away from smearing Supreme Court nominee Amy Coney Barrett over her religion, and have moved on to focusing on solely on how they think the process to confirm her is illegitimate.Well thank goodness if they can't. This whole affair was another example of how they disrespect conservatives on their decisions and opinions, and the disparaging way they spoke about Barrett was disgraceful, proving the Democrats' disrespect for women in the process. The time's come for a judge with a far more respectable background to be able to ascend to the job, and Barrett looks like one of the most qualified today, compared to some of the liberals who've been there in the past, which is why her nomination is most welcome.
Meanwhile, Democrat senators and aides are admitting there’s nothing they can do to stop Republicans from confirming Barrett to the Supreme Court. On Wednesday, Sen. Chris Coons (D-DE) said he had no way to stop the nomination process.
