Texas court releases school shooter on bail, despite his shooting at least 3 victims
Even in Texas, there's poor judicial officials operating, and in this case, a local school shooter was released on bail despite the severity of his crime and the pain it caused to the victims:
That's why this kind of news is so distasteful to me, and other people with common sense should think the same. I later learned the apologist for terrorism came from Bar Harbor in southern Maine, which is said to be a fairly wealthy neighborhood. Anybody with common sense there should make sure such repellent creeps are given an eviction notice and told they owe 9-11 Families and Israel alike an apology for normalizing and minimizing barbarism.
And back on the issue of the Texas shooter, he should be punished to the full extent of the law, and what should really be done in regard to bullies is to enforce laws that would penalize them for their criminal offenses.
The Texas student who allegedly opened fire at his high school, injuring four people, including a teacher, was sprung from jail on Thursday afternoon — as an attorney who joined him insisted that the case wasn’t a “standard-issue school shooting.”Considering the severity of the crime, it's still too lenient. Also, as the Daily Wire notes:
Timothy George Simpkins, 18, who attends Timberview High School in Arlington, will report to home confinement after he posted $75,000 bond at Tarrant County Jail, news station WFAA reported.
The suspect’s attorney claimed that this shooting was different because the suspect was being bullied at school, even though many school shootings that have occurred across the U.S. seemingly involve cases where the shooters were bullied.What makes this news so irritating is that 20 years ago, I had a conversation with a creepy fellow on a message board who tried using the same defense with the Columbine shooters - claiming that they were bullied, as though that literally justifies or minimizes the issue. Mainly because the same creepy character later made clear he supported the PLO and anti-Israeli terrorism. If that's his position on Israel, who knows what he thinks of 9-11 Families for a Safe & Strong America? And the victims of al Qaeda's murder of the inhabitants of the World Trade Center?
