Looking over some of these recent reports from Canadian provinces like Ontario (via The American Thinker), where shelters for battered women are allowing male predators claiming to be women to interlope and commit sexual violence, it's clear the great white north's got a gender-bigotry/women-hating problem:

Tracey and Blaine were asked to leave the women's shelter after they talked to the media, which "broke the confidentiality agreement," Global News reports. The shelter in Kelowna, British Columbia is run by the NOW Canada Society, which provides services for abused women.

Tracey said she was uncomfortable sharing a room with a man transitioning towards being a woman, while Blaine had fled an abusive relationship and was concerned with a man being at a facility which only houses women.

"He wants to become a woman, I mean that is his choice but when a man comes into a women’s shelter who still has a penis and genitals he has more rights than we do," Tracey said.

"Some women have had bad experiences with men so they are fleeing men and now we have a man living there," Blaine said.

Tracey told Global News what the shelter employees told her when she raised her concerns.

"They told me, 'sorry, if a person identifies themselves with female, then we have to go with that,'" Tracey said.

NOW Canada would not speak to the media on this specific case.

Tracey and Blaine are now afraid that their safety has been compromised since they were forced to leave the shelter. But they said that they have no regrets about speaking up, even though they were kicked out.

This is bad, demonstrating how Orwellian tactics are now put to use to destroy all sensible women fought hard for in the past century, and it goes entirely without saying that, if the shelter management's unwilling to stand firm against this social damage, they don't belong in their jobs, period. Mainly because this is the tragic result over in Windsor:

A self-identified transgender woman in Ontario, Canada, was arrested Tuesday after allegedly sexually assaulting a woman in a women's shelter.

Desiree Anderson, 32, also known as Cody D’Entremont, turned herself in hours after authorities issued a press release and mugshot seeking information on the suspect, according to the Windsor Star.

Police began investigating Anderson on April 4 following a report from a woman who claimed the suspect had climbed into bed with her and sexually assaulted her while she was staying a women's shelter in Windsor.

[...] Police reportedly told the outlet that the suspect was processed as a female and should be referred to as a woman.

He committed sexual violence, yet they believe he should be referred to with a pronoun he himself would want? Well they certainly know how to add insult to injury. As did the following example from the Toronto region:

Shane Jacob Green — sometimes known as Stephanie — was looking for a place to stay while visiting Parry Sound.

So, the convicted sex offender went to a local women’s shelter and told them that, yes, Green identified as a woman and needed a place to stay. This was on Aug. 22.

Police sources told The Toronto Sun, Green was allowed to stay, but allegedly made sexually inappropriate comments to staff and clients.

Two days later, Green allegedly sexually assaulted one of the women, a client, at the shelter. None of the charges have been tested in court.

“Green really seems to know how the shelter system works and because it’s 2022 and in the current climate, workers at the shelters feel they have to let Green stay,” one law enforcement source said on the condition of anonymity.

No doubt, the women working at the shelter are cognizant that in these hyper-sensitive times, they could potentially lose their jobs and have their reputations shattered for turning away Green.

Well they don't deserve to have said jobs if they refuse to stand behind the women who fell victim to this male maniac who's disgraced his sex, let alone a reputation.

“So you have these extremely vulnerable women in distress, and they have to deal with Green because of political expediency,” the source added.

And needless to say, it isn’t Green’s first rodeo. In fact, the hulking 6-foot-2, 230-pounder has also been flagged by the shelter system in Strathroy, west of London. Sources say that Green will also allegedly identify as a woman and then claim to have a child just to get in the shelter door.

In 2018, Green was convicted of sexual assault after he dragged a 15-year-old female McDonald’s employee into a bathroom stall at one of the fast food giant’s restaurants. Inside the stall, Green attacked the victim who was cleaning the washroom. [...]

“Green is very familiar with policies at women’s shelters, and will make comments about his gender identity as a way to intimidate their staff,” the source said.

“Green tries the same stunts with law enforcement.”

Sometime in the past five years, it was decided that biological women were expendable in the steamroller of equity. Particularly vulnerable women struggling with drugs, domestic violence and other plagues.

This is also the same country that produced a policeman who sparked the Slutwalk marches in 2012, after he said women worried about rapists shouldn't "dress like sluts", which was in seriously poor taste. And even allowed Muslim "refugees" into the country who caused similar problems. And this was also the country where Aqsa Parvez was murdered. Some of these recent tragedies occurred under Justin Trudeau's administration, and at this point, it's clear he's brought a catastrophe upon the great white north. Another victim of this mess was a notable Vancouver shelter:

Vancouver Rape Relief and Women’s Shelter, Canada’s oldest rape crisis centre, has been stripped of city funding after refusing to rescind its policy of only serving female-born women.

In a statement, the organization said they were the victim of “discrimination against women in the name of inclusion” and accused Vancouver City Council of trying to “coerce us to change our position.”

[...] The defunding is the latest flashpoint in an ongoing struggle between transgender activists and feminist organizations who maintain that female-born and male-born women should remain distinct groups.

One of the figures leading the defunding charge against Vancouver Rape Relief was Morgane Oger, a longstanding transgender advocate and vice president of the B.C. NDP.

[...] Men are strictly banned from spaces operated by Vancouver Rape Relief, and the organization has previously argued that their clients, all of whom are recovering from male violence, do not feel comfortable while in the presence of someone who used to live as a man. “Even deep voices, male insignia like baseball caps and boots can make women nervous,” wrote Lee Lakeman, a founder of the centre, in 2006.

More recently, in a January talk at Vancouver Public Library, Lakeman said “to me, this discussion of ‘inclusion’ is really the conduct of the backlash against feminism.”

In 2017, the agency even spoke against a federal measure to recognize “gender expression” and “gender identity” as protected human rights, saying it could be used to “undermine the rights of women.”

What this should make clear is that far-leftists only exploited feminist advocates until they decided they no longer needed them, and threw them under the bus. That is, assuming specific feminists didn't go along with their twisted beliefs and stepped off the plantation.

It's just so astounding what kind of people are in charge there, leftist or otherwise, that it ends up making me wonder - is Canada a sexist society? Probably no more so than the USA, but even so, this is one of the most blatant examples of progressives abandoning everything they supposedly defended years before, as western society breaks down, and one of the worst things it hints at is how leftists seem to believe being a liberal alone gives them the complete right to "give and take" as they see fit. And those who've led to this disaster will likely never apologize for the 5th column damage they've created. Some might even wonder if Canada even blame to shoulder for importing some of this wokeness to the USA, much as the USA itself did to the UK, recalling a British actor making that point. Either way, this is another western-spawned disaster the world at large will take ages to heal from.
