Americans against surrendering the internet to UN

A special poll on Breitbart reveals that a lot of Americans are against handing over the web to an awful body like the UN, although there's still more who may not be fully aware of what could happen:
There is overwhelming opposition to President Barack Obama’s plan to hand over control of the Internet to an international advisory body, 41 percent against with 14 percent supporting, according to the Breitbart/Gravis poll of 1,493 likely voters released Friday.

“In addition to the high oppostion, the 44 percent who are unsure really means that many, many Americans are not following the story,” said Doug Kaplan, the managing partner of Gravis Marketing, the Florida-based firm that executed the poll. The poll carries a margin of error of 2.5 percent.
Clearly, there's need to let a lot more people know about the ramifications of this awful move.
Kaplan said as a follow up, respondents, who were opposed to the handover were asked: “Is this an example of America’s weakening leadership in the world?”

Seventy-five percent of the likely voters who said they opposed the U.S. handing over control of the Internet said it was an example of “America’s weakening leadership in the world,” he said.

[...] Rick Manning, the president of Americans for Limited Government, told Breitbart News the handover should be bigger news.

“It is a big deal, because it ends First Amendment protections over the web,” he said.

“Right now, the only real protection that exists on the web is not from Facebook, Google, Yahoo or even Breitbart, but it is from the U.S. government contract with ICANN which means that ICANN cannot limit speech by arranging contracts with GoDaddy and others,” he said.

As long as ICANN is working under the cover of the federal government and the protections guarateed in the Constitution, the Internet remains free, he said.

Once the contract expires, there is nothing to stop ICANN from hiring Lois Lerner to take down all the sites that belong to the Tea Party or advocates for gun rights.
Not just Lerner. Even Islamic dictatorships could damage sites opposing their ideology. This is why I think, at the same time, that some countries with rationale should start setting up companies similar to ICANN and provide name/number service themselves. That could help add competition for the market. For now, it's simply unacceptable if the UN gets any access the internet, and that's why every sane person should oppose the move.

Internet could be conquered by UN in October

Joel Pollak once again warns that Obama could transfer ICANN into the hands of the UN, which is bound to destroy internet freedom unless an alternative can be found:
It’s shocking the administration admits it has no plan for how Icann retains its antitrust exemption. The reason Icann can operate the entire World Wide Web root zone is that it has the status of a legal monopolist, stemming from its contract with the Commerce Department that makes Icann an “instrumentality” of government. [...]

Without the U.S. contract, Icann would seek to be overseen by another governmental group so as to keep its antitrust exemption. Authoritarian regimes have already proposed Icann become part of the U.N. to make it easier for them to censor the internet globally. So much for the Obama pledge that the U.S. would never be replaced by a “government-led or an inter-governmental organization solution.”
The worst part is that, much like with the Iran deal, Obama could push this through no matter what protests are issued. There are already Senators introducing a bill to protect the internet. But everyone who believes in freedom will have to be wary of what could happen in another month.

Haredi men arrested for drug smuggling at airport

2 Haredis were caught carrying a suitcase with some pretty heavy supplies of cocaine:
Israeli customs officials recently arrested two ultra-Orthodox men at Ben Gurion Airport in possession of 7.5 kilograms (16.5 pounds) of cocaine stashed in a suitcase.

Several other men are suspected of involvement in attempt to smuggle the illegal substance, Channel 2 reported Friday.

[...] The bust was the latest in a series of arrests of alleged drug smugglers attempting to sneak illegal substances into the country. In July officers seized five kilograms (11 pounds) of ecstasy found in liquid form in a man’s suitcase.

The drug, said to be worth NIS 2 million ($524,000), was concealed inside wine bottles and absorbed within the walls of a suitcase.

Three ultra-Orthodox Israeli men were also nabbed in July for allegedly operating an international drug trafficking operation after authorities found thousands of ecstasy pills on their person at the airport.
One can only wonder how many people in the Haredi community itself are hooked on that crap. The case certainly proves there's some truly awful activities going on in their insular world.

A rabbi who defends the burkini ban

A rabbi in France has ideally defended banning burkinis from French beaches:
A senior Paris rabbi defended a string of controversial municipal bans in France on wearing the full-body swimsuit known as a burkini in public.

Moshe Sebbag of the Grand Synagogue told JTA on Tuesday that he supported in principle the regulations adopted earlier this month in 15 French municipalities, including the famed beach resort Cannes. Last week, Prime Minister Manuel Valls said the garb, worn by Muslim women in accord with their religious views of modesty, was part of a “political project” to perpetuate female servitude.

“It’s a complicated subject and both sides have compelling arguments,” Sebbag said in an interview.

While the French state is a “secular country with freedom of religion,” he said, the mayors in question “understood this is not about women’s liberty to dress modestly, but a statement as to who will rule here tomorrow.” The rabbi added that this owed to recent jihadist terror attacks in France.

“They understand today there’s a religious war, a takeover of the secular establishment of the French republic, and this is what they find unacceptable,”
Sebbag said. Asked if he agrees with the burkini bans, he said: “Yes, because you see that going with it [a burkini] is not innocent, it’s sending a message.”
Yes, the way those Muslims involved are going about it, it's clear they're doing everything they can to disgust the public and symbolize contempt. And, as I may have noted before, burkinis can be used to smuggle small weapons like dynamite sticks and grenades, and could even be used for drug smuggling. There's also hygiene to worry about. So all municipalities who consider the burkini a bad idea should stand firm on their decision to keep it off the beaches.

Clinton foundation donors had access to State Department

ABC News (via Hot Air) tells that donors to the Clinton's self-named foundation had access to State Department material, including Huma Abedin:
A series of newly released State Department emails obtained by ABC News offers fresh insight on direct contact between the Clinton Foundation and Hillary Clinton’s inner circle while she was Secretary of State.

The emails -– released as part of a public records lawsuit by conservative group Citizens United and shared exclusively with ABC — reveal what the group claims is new evidence Foundation allies received special treatment. [Read the emails here.]

In one December 2010 email chain with Clinton’s closest aide Huma Abedin, then-top Clinton Foundation official Doug Band offers names for a State Department lunch with Chinese President Hu Jintao scheduled for January 2011.

On the list were three executives from organizations that have donated millions to the Clinton Foundation: Bob McCann, the then-president of wealth management at UBS; Dr. Judith Rodin, the president of the Rockefeller Foundation; and Hikmet Ersek, the CEO of Western Union.
If Hilary Clinton's elected, there's every chance they'll have access to more sensitive information. It'll be disastrous.

Satmar don't want women to be educated

The Satmar have desecrated the Torah yet again:
The leaders of an ultra-Orthodox Jewish group – the Satmar sect – have just issued a decree from their base in New York. It calls for a ban on women entering university, with rabbis arguing that it is “dangerous” for them to do so, and “against the Torah”.
It's also insulting to God to belittle the Almighty's creations. And, as noted in the article, nothing new for the Satmar either:
Ultra-Orthodox rabbis have in the past condemned education for women. Rabbi Aviezer Peletz previously spoke at a conference for high school principals in Bnei Brak, Israel, and argued that higher education for women is more damaging to the ultra-Orthodox community than the Holocaust.

There are other rules and practices in the Satmar sect which have raised issues in terms of the treatment of women. One example is head shaving, which a Satmar woman describes as “forced”, involving “threats” and “intimidation” in order to maintain it in the community. Another ultra-Orthodox group, the Belz sect, has a community in the UK, and last year issued a ban on women driving.

As we can see, the Satmar sect makes rules for women that are not seen in other branches and denominations of Judaism – either Orthodox or Reform – since it adopts a stricter interpretation of the Torah. The sect is well-respected in the Jewish community at large, but because of the conflicts it has with more modern, secular values, it is unlikely that this decree will be welcomed, in any measure, by the majority of Jews worldwide.
I would just disagree with the part about interpretation, since it's not even speaking for Judaism at all. What they're doing is digging deeper and deeper holes, making utter idiots of themselves, and desecrating the Torah and everything Judaism's all about. And all for the sake of their narrow viewpoint on life.

French Muslim goes to Australia and murders British woman on vacation

The AP Wire, however, just calls him a "French man", even as they admit he called out a certain phrase in Arabic (via The Jawa Report):
A French man shouting the Arabic phrase "Allahu akbar" stabbed a British woman to death and wounded two men in an attack at a hostel in northeast Australia, police said Wednesday.

The attack took place Tuesday night at a hostel in the town of Home Hill, south of Townsville in northern Queensland. A 21-year-old British woman was found dead at the scene and a 30-year-old British man was hospitalized in critical condition. A local man was treated and released for injuries. A dog was also fatally wounded in the attack.
Even down under, it's becoming truly dangerous.

California Islamist murdered grandparents

Westword has a disturbing report about a Muslim convert in California who murdered his grandparents (via Jihad Watch):
The video onetime Coloradan Nathaniel Scheiern posted on his Facebook page circa May 4 comes with an all-caps warning/message: “GRAPHIC FOOTAGE. ADULTS ONLY. LESSONS WITH LIFE’S TESTS MAKES EASY A`s!

The clip appears to be an ISIS terror video — and we’re not sharing it here because invective is followed by scenes of people being beheaded.

It’s too soon to know if material like this has any relation to the Glendale, California murders of Scheiern’s grandparents, William and Verna, for which Nathaniel was formally charged this week. But an autopsy reported cited by the Glendale News-Press reveals that William and Verna, ages 77 and 82 respectively, died of “blood loss from traumatic injuries.”
Yet another monster who was influenced by both the Koran and ISIS. It's horrifying how Islamofascism has such a nasty impact on anybody who adheres to such filth.

Merkel talks out of both sides of her mouth

First, the good news. German premier Angela Merkel says that full Islamic veils like niqabs have no place in German society:
German Chancellor Angela Merkel has described full-body veils used by some Muslim women that cover the face as an obstacle to integration. [...]

Merkel weighed in on the issue in comments to the RedaktionsNetzwerk Deutschland newspaper group published Thursday. She was quoted as saying: "From my point of view, a fully veiled woman in Germany has barely any chance of integrating."
There's just one little thing: either the women wearing them don't want to integrate, let alone relate to wider society, or, they're being forced to wear such awful garments.

Now for the bad news that ruins everything:
Chancellor Angela Merkel said on Wednesday refugees had not brought terrorism to Germany, adding that Islam belonged in the country as long as it was practiced in a way that respected the constitution. [...]

"The phenomenon of Islamist terrorism, of IS, is not a phenomenon that came to us with the refugees," Merkel said at an election campaign event for her Christian Democrats in the eastern state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern ahead of a regional vote on Sept. 4.
What a disgrace. It may not have come from all the alleged refugees, but it certainly did come from plenty. If she thinks Islam is fine in Germany, then there's reason to doubt the sincerity of her argument against the veils. Instead of helping, she's only hurting once more. She probably hasn't even met with any of the victims of Islamofacist crimes to offer her condolences. If she's losing support from the public, it's for the best.

France's ban on burkinis is justified

More violence cropped up this week in France and Corsica, this time involving burkini wearers who, along with their male masters, led to a riot, and so several towns are now banning them from public beaches:
The French government has defended municipal bans on body-covering Muslim burkini swimwear but called on mayors to try and cool tensions between communities.

Three Mediterranean towns – Cannes, Villeneuve-Loubet and Sisco on the island of Corsica – have banned the burkini, and Le Touquet on the Atlantic coast is planning to do the same.

The mainly conservative mayors who have imposed the ban say the garment, which leaves only the face, hands and feet exposed, defies French laws on secularism.

The burkini debate is particularly sensitive in France given deadly attacks by Islamist militants, including bombings and shootings in Paris which killed 130 people last November, which have raised tensions between communities and made people wary of public places.

The socialist government’s minister for women’s rights, Laurence Rossignol, said municipal bans on the burkini should not be seen in the context of terrorism but she supported the bans.

“The burkini is not some new line of swimwear, it is the beach version of the burqa and it has the same logic: hide women’s bodies in order to better control them,” Rossignol told French daily Le Parisien in an interview.
It's also bad for hygiene, and there's various health sources in France who believe, with good reason, that healthy hygiene is crucial.
Rossignol said the burkini had sparked tensions on French beaches because of its political dimension.

“It is not just the business of those women who wear it, because it is the symbol of a political project that is hostile to diversity and women’s emancipation,” she said.

On Saturday, a brawl broke out between Muslim families and a group of young Corsicans in Sisco after a tourist took pictures of women bathing in burkini. The mayor banned burkinis on Monday.
And they're doing the right thing. In fact, burkinis could be used as smuggling tools, something you can't do with a bikini (Ursula Andress sure couldn't have done that with hers in Doctor No back in 1962). For example, they could be used to smuggle smalls parts for explosives, or even hand grenades, guns and knives. They could even be used for drug smuggling and hiding documents and money. That's another reason why it's best to ban them from the beaches.

From public to prison moralist: Haredi slasher bashed up in cell for provocations

The convicted Haredi murderer Yishai Schlissel is still making some eyebrow raising headlines, as it's revealed he shredded another prisoner's pictures of his daughters because he despised how they were dressed:
Yishai Schlissel, the ultra-Orthodox Jewish man serving a life sentence for the murder of 16-year-old Shira Banki at the Jerusalem Gay Pride Parade last year, is being kept away from other inmates at the Ayalon Prison after a physical altercation with a fellow prisoner left him hospitalized.

Last month, Schlissel tore up photos of another inmate’s daughters he had hanging in his cell, saying the girls were “dressed immodestly.”

Enraged, the prisoner beat Schlissel until prison guards separated the two. Schlissel was hospitalized for unspecified injuries.

The Ayalon Prison warden placed Schlissel in solitary confinement for a number of days as a disciplinary measure.

After an evaluation by prison officials, the warden decided to give Schlissel a separate cell citing his volatile behavior.

The Israel Prisons Service confirmed the decision in a statement, saying that Schlissel’s “taunts, inappropriate behavior and damage he caused another inmate’s property” necessitated the move.
Now I don't know what the other prisoner was in jail for or how severe his own crime was, but Schlissel's act in itself was offensive and an act of hatred towards people who could otherwise be innocent. And assuming the daughters were of legal age, how fascinating that somebody who was hell-bent on slaughtering homosexuals at the parade has such a problem with pictures of ladies hung in his cell. He could be bitter at the realization he threw away his future and will never be able to lead a relationship with women again after the violent crime he committed against one. But it sure seems for now like he's become an isolationist in the worst possible way, and has rejected being part of the human race (remember, this was somebody who even refused legal counsel and doesn't recognize the state laws).

Frankly, he deserves whatever he got for violating the Commandment of Thou Shalt Not Commit Murder. No matter how distasteful homosexuality is, it's no justification for savagery like what he committed last year.

Update: oh, there's also this report that's worthy of note:
An initial investigation into Wednesday afternoon’s incident found that guards allowed Schlissel to go out into a courtyard of the prison wing together with two other prisoners serving sentences for convictions relating to organized crime.

An argument developed between Schlissel and the other two prisoners, apparently over the murder of Banki at the 2015 parade. The two prisoners began punching Schlissel in the face until guards — hearing the commotion — rushed in to separate them.
Of course, one can only wonder if he wanted this kind of physical hell heaped upon him as well. How about that, even racketeers have more honor than a scumbag like Schlissel does.

Bar Kochva's ballista ball

Some students in Gush Etzion dug up an ancient weapon used during the Bar Kochva revolution in ancient times:
An ancient ballista ball, claimed to be one of those used by Jewish warriors fighting against the Roman Empire during the Bar-Kochba revolt, has been unearthed by high school students in Gush Etzion, south of Jerusalem.

The rebellion, led by Simon Bar-Kochba between 132 and 136 CE, was also known as the Third Jewish Revolt, because it was the final of three Jewish uprisings against the Romans due to religious and political persecution.

It is estimated that many thousands of Jews died during the revolt, resulting in a massive depopulation of the communities inhabiting the Judean Hills.

Many survivors of the battle were sold into slavery by Roman captors.

On Monday, Yaron Rosenthal, director of the Kfar Etzion Field School, said the stone ball was discovered during an annual excavation in Gush Etzion led by school counselors shortly before Tisha Be’av.
There may still be several thousand more of these balls out there waiting to be found. Nice to see one of them was unearthed.

Defense ministry calls off aiding migrants and calls for combatting Haredi incitement against soldiers

Here's two positive steps the defense ministry is taking. First, there's refraining from aiding children of illegal immigrants:
Israeli Defense Minster Avigdor Liberman has given orders to put a stop to a volunteering program involving IDF soldiers playing with children of migrants in south Tel Aviv after the incident caused public outcry, Israeli daily Yedioth Ahronoth reported Sunday.

According to the report, Liberman personally phoned IDF Chief of Staff Gadi Eisenkot last week and ordered him to put an immediate end to the program.

“If soldiers have free time, they should help Holocaust survivors or the needy,” he reportedly told the Israel Defense Forces chief, according to Yedioth Ahronoth. “Charity should begin at home.”

The storm blew up last week when Sheffi Paz, a right-wing activist in south Tel Aviv who leads efforts to remove asylum seekers from the area and has previously disrupted refugee gatherings, documented soldiers from the Intelligence Corps playing with African children at a playground in the Shapira neighborhood.
I understand how the opposition feels. While children of illegals may not be to blame themselves, it doesn't help to aid them if it benefits the felonies of their parents.

There's also the decision to crack down on Haredi extremists who threatened IDF soldiers:
Deputy Defense Minister Eli Ben-Dahan has said that the Defense Ministry along with law enforcement agencies will be stepping up efforts to combat the vitriolic campaign conducted by haredi extremists against ultra-Orthodox soldiers. In recent years, radical elements within the haredi community have published flyers, posters, public notices and booklets and placed them in public areas denouncing haredi soldiers and portraying them as pigs and in other offensive ways.

Incidents in which haredi soldiers and officials involved in efforts to increase haredi enlistment are verbally abused in haredi neighborhoods are common, while there have been several instances of physical violence directed at such people. In one of the most serious incidents of incitement, a booklet with the names, contact details and photographs of haredi activists and IDF officers involved in increasing haredi enlistment was published along with inflammatory descriptions of the individuals and their campaign. Officials listed in the booklet subsequently received a series of threats and harassing phone calls, as well as protests outside their homes.

Ben-Dahan, who has been active in increasing measures against such incitement, said in an interview published in Yisrael Hayom that increased efforts are being made to stamp out this phenomenon. According to the deputy minister, steps are now being taken to trace the source of money for this campaign.
Any ultra-Orthodox moonbats who dare antagonize the soldiers should be given a serious fine for their actions. This includes faux-gurus, and their minions. And above all, they should be jailed for their offenses.

Egyptian judoka at 2016 Olympics refused to shake hands with Israeli rival

In another display of racist hatred at the Olympic games, a judoku from Egypt wouldn't shake the hand of his Israeli rival, and got booed for it:
An Egyptian Olympic judoka was booed by a Rio audience when he refused to shake hands with his Israeli rival after losing a first-round match on Friday.

As per the rules of the sport, after Israel’s Ori Sasson beat Egypt’s Islam El Shehaby, Sasson approached the Egyptian to shake his hand before walking off the mat. El Shehaby then immediately turned away from Sasson’s outstretched arm, rebuffing his friendly gesture. In video footage of the incident, the crowd is heard booing loudly at El Shehaby’s unsportsmanlike conduct.

One BBC reporter commenting live during the match called El Shehaby’s action “very disappointing,” adding, “this is not what the Olympics is about.” A second BBC commentator said, “If you’re an outsider coming in, having a look, the rules of our sport dictate absolute respect for the opponent.”

El Shehaby’s snub prompted an almost immediate outcry on social media.

Ofir Gendelman, the Arab media spokesman for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu took to Twitter to congratulate Sasson and rebuke his rival. The Olympics is “not an arena for politics and extremism,” he said.
The man was quite a sore loser in more than a few ways, just because the guy defeated him. He only demonstrates why in the end, countries like his will only lose respect in the end.

Where is the real al Aqsa mosque?

According to Mordecai Kedar, it's not in Jerusalem:
A well known proverb says "liars need to have good memories." The reasoning is clear: a liar needs to remember his own lies and whom he told them to in order to avoid contradicting himself and revealing his mendacity. This rule applies to important issues as well. Jerusalem, for instance, whose holiness to Sunni Muslims is based on a late and political interpretation of a Koranic verse, while to Shiite Muslims it is only the third holiest city, ranked below Mecca and Medina (today the city of Najaf in southern Iraq).

Early Islamic sources state that the "al Aqsa Mosque" (literal meaning: 'the farther mosque'), mentioned only once in the Koran, was one of two mosques located near Ji'irrana, a village located between Mecca and Taaf in the Arabian Peninsula (now Saudi Arabia.) One of the mosques was called "al-Masjid al-Adna," meaning the "closer mosque" and the other " al-Masjid al-Aqsa", the "farther mosque." When the Koran refers to the al Aqsa mosque while telling the myth of the Prophet Muhammad's night time journey from the "holy mosque" of Mecca to al Aqsa, that is, the "farther mosque," it is referring to the mosque in Ji'irrana.
Read the rest to learn something eye-opening.

Canadian jihadist killed before he could prepare attack

The Canadian authorities have killed a terrorist who associated with ISIS before he could've carried out a more serious attack:
A Canadian man previously banned from associating with Islamic State extremists prepared a martyrdom video and was about to commit a terrorist attack but was killed after he detonated his explosive device in a taxi and was shot at by officers who say they thwarted the suicide bomb plot after being tipped off by the FBI, police said Thursday.

The suspect planned to carry out a suicide bombing in a public area in an urban center during rush hour, Deputy Royal Canadian Police Commander Mike Cabana said. He identified the suspect as Aaron Driver, 24, originally from Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Royal Canadian Mounted Police Commander Jennifer Strachan said Driver was intercepted by police as he entered a taxi with a backpack and said Driver detonated an explosive device, injuring himself and the taxi driver, before police shot at him. It was unclear whether Driver died as a result of the shrapnel or a police bullet.

After being tipped off by the FBI, police said Driver was quickly identified as the person in the so- called martyrdom video. Police say he planned an attack within 72 hours.

"It was a race against time,"
Cabana said.
And fortunate that in the end, he failed to commit the abomination he was planning. But look at how today, Canada's got homegrown terrorists on their turf, who are already making the great white north a dangerous place. So long as even they refuse to recognize the root causes, this'll only continue.

Will they or won't they?

Some Haredi yeshivas in the USA have agreed to improve their secular studies. But those that aren't providing their students with a proper education also aren't giving the best signs they'll cooperate:
As the Core Curriculum law was repealed in Israel, scuttling an attempt by the previous government to enforce teaching the Core Curriculum in haredi schools, a struggle over similar issues has been taking place in the US.

Certain haredi and hassidic elementary and high schools in New York have been teaching secular studies at a very low level, or not at all, though this is against state law and organizations made up of people who have left these communities have been demanding that the government intervene and force the schools to get their secular studies education up to snuff, so as to give students the tools to make a living in the modern world when they grow up.

The Forward reported tonight that the schools have promised to provide better secular education starting from the coming school year.

Department of Education (DOE) spokeswoman Devora Kaye is quoted as saying that the Hassidic yeshivas had “committed to begin altering their curricula to include better and more secular education as early as next year.”

Kaye said that the schools would implement a “high-quality, common core-aligned curriculum as soon as possible.”

However, no information was forthcoming as to what precisely the new curricula will look like, leaving some advocates dissatisfied.

Naftali Moster is the founder of the advocacy group Young Advocates for Fair Education, whose July 2015 letter to the DOE launched an investigation into the schools. “This lack of transparency seems like a deliberate ploy to evade accountability," Moster said.
So long as no transparency is provided, we can't believe the schools will really respect the required steps, and that's why any lawsuits against them should go ahead. And on a related note, the repeal of the law calling for such studies in Israeli Haredi schools was shameful, as are the parties themselves in the Knesset.

While we're on the topic, even here in Israel, there's Haredis who're against secular subjects taught in a certain school:
A battle being conducted by the haredi (ultra-Orthodox) leadership against a haredi school teaching general education subjects in addition to religious studies has been stepped up with several senior haredi rabbis calling on Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat to relocate the school.

The Chachmei Lev yeshiva high school, headed by Rabbi Betzalel Cohen, currently has its premises on the outskirts of the haredi Bayit Vegan neighborhood but has been seeking a larger building for its growing number of pupils.

[...] The haredi political parties in the municipal council strongly objected to the allocation of funds to the school, although they were ultimately unsuccessful, and the money for the renovation was approved.

Following this failure by the political leadership, several senior rabbis issued a letter to Barkat on Friday, and published in the Hapeles daily newspaper calling on him to prevent the school’s relocation inside Bayit Vegan.

“This institution is against utterly and fundamentally opposed to the Torah spirit of the Bayit Vegan neighborhood,” wrote the rabbis, including Rabbi Baruch Mordechai Ezrahi, a member of the Council of Torah Sages of Degel Hatorah, as well as other yeshiva deans and communal rabbis.

The rabbis said that Bayit Vegan enjoyed “quiet and tranquility because rabbis of the neighborhood direct and lead the neighborhood.”
Oh, what's that? Just the problem, I'm afraid. The rabbis have been an obstacle with their socialist MO to the students getting better education, and they're not fit to lead these neighborhoods, let alone determine who can live there or not. They should just shut the crap up.

Those ultra-Orthodox rabbis have caused enough problems already. We have to see to it they can't continue that way.

Politicians and press in Twin Falls, Idaho defending juvenile Muslim rapists

It's stunning how many leftists there are in Twin Falls, Idaho, who're going out of their way to cover up for the Muslim children who raped a 5-year-old girl in the city:
The activists want to bring justice to a five-year-old American girl who was raped on June 2 by a group of refugee children as a 14-year-old refugee videotaped the horrible incident. Idaho activist Julie Ruf tells Breitbart News that statements made by Olson to protect the refugee community in the wake of rapes indicate she is unfit for the job of protecting the Constitution.

Julie Ruf has been working with the victim’s family since the rapes happened, trying to help get them both victim services and fair treatment by local authorities. The fight is an uphill climb for Ruf and other activists, as both local authorities and media members began attacking the group for expressing concerns about the dangers of the recent influx of Muslim refugees into the area.

A number of local businesses in the food processing industry use the refugee population as a source of cheap labor, and also receive financial incentives from both the state and federal government for employing refugees instead of Americans.

The Twin Falls activist expressed concerns about the brutal rape of the mentally challenged five-year-old, which included oral and anal penetration as well as the victim being urinated on by at least two of the boys. One concern of the local activists were recent headlines around the world about videotaped sexual assault involving Muslim refugees, such as the New Year’s Eve attack in Cologne, Germany.

U.S. Attorney Olson made a statement that appeared to threaten local activists with legal action for expressing their concern if that speech contain “false information.”
Read the rest, because it's already horrific enough that the attorney would have the sick gall to do that. The press coverage in the area is also horrific, and all reporters who called the girl's friends "racists" should be ostracized.

Donald Trump and Hilary Clinton have both been asked to visit the area, but with Hilary's record, I think it's better that just Donald pay a visit. This is very disturbing that practically a whole town governing system is corrupt enough to cover for sexual abuse, all because of money.

6 Haredi teachers indicted for alarming child abuse in school

Several male teachers from a Haredi school around Tel Aviv were charged with child abuse:
Indictments were filed Tuesday against six teachers at an ultra-Orthodox school in Tel Aviv for alleged severe physical abuse of pupils. One of the suspects is also accused of serious sexual abuse.

Suspects Avraham Rosenfeld, 49; Yisrael Haim Shapira, 65; Haim Fishgrund, 69; Moshe Hirsch, 39; Menachem Alberstein, 62; and Avraham Pinhas Deitish, 53, were indicted at Tel Aviv District Court for abuse of and attacks on minors in their care.

An additional an indictment was filed against Rosenfeld on multiple incidents of sexually assaulting a minor below the age of 16, indecent acts, extortion under threats, and making threats.

[...] Rosenfeld also faces charges of extortion and threats against his own wife.

The other suspects are accused of beating students, including hitting them on the hand with rulers or sticks. On one occasion, one of the accused allegedly poured a hot tea on a student.
Absolutely repulsive. And one of the culprits even committed spousal abuse. The criminals should all be locked up tight.

Olympic US fencer with hijab trashes America

The first Muslim to participate in the Olympics under US sponsorship complains she doesn't feel safe in America:
“[I feel unsafe] all the time. I had someone follow me home from practice and try to report me to police,” she said. “And this is right on 28th and 7th in New York City.”

“I’m very vocal about these things because I want people to know I’m not a novelty, I’m not special in any way, I’m a woman who wears hijab and these are my experiences,” Muhammad said.

Muhammad, who came second to Michael Phelps in the vote for who should carry the U.S. flag at the Opening Ceremony on Friday, said the country is at crossroads.

“I want people to know that as hard as [these racist incidents] are on me, they don’t come even close to things we’ve seen like the shooting in North Carolina or the rhetoric around the Khan family at the DNC. It’s ridiculous and we as a country have to change and I feel like this is our moment.”

Asked by the Daily Beast what she thought about Donald Trump’s contribution to Islamic relations in the U.S., she laughed and said: “Who? I’m sorry, what did you say? I don’t know him.”
Curious that she had nothing to say about the jihadist attacks in Orlando, Boston, San Bernardino and Chattanooga. All that matters to her is the Religion of Peace.

According to Hot Air, she's been disqualified from the competition by France's entrant, Cecelia Berder, and France could certainly use a victory after the terrible experience they had of recent. Unfortunately, it looks like Hilary Clinton is now using her as a political prop, exactly what she was surely hoping for.

World Vision "charity" served as a Hamas funder

A large scandal's emerged as it turns out a so-called Christian charity named World Vision was donating the funds they got to Hamas:
A training base built by an Islamist terrorist group behind suicide bombings and mass shootings was allegedly funded by British aid.

The compound in the north of the Gaza Strip is operated by the military wing of Hamas.

It is fitted with sophisticated communications equipment for surveillance and is an entry point to secret tunnels used to smuggle weapons and launch attacks on Israel.

There are also buildings used to train gunmen with the Qassam Brigades, which claims to have 10,000 members in Gaza and has been behind rocket attacks on Israel, the kidnap of Israeli soldiers and a series of bloody attacks.

Israel says money from British taxpayers was funnelled to Hamas to build the base by a senior Palestinian official with World Vision, a major Christian charity that has been handed millions of pounds by the UK's Department for International Development (Dfid).

Shin Bet, Israel's intelligence agency, has arrested the official, Mohammad el Halabi, on charges of infiltrating World Vision and aiding terrorists. Israel believe he passed £33 million intended to relive poverty to Hamas to pay its salaries and train its troops.
But how do we know they had nothing to do with it? If World Vision's management is guilty, then they too should be avoided by all sane people. This is truly despicable, and the faux-charity will have to be held accountable no matter what.

Machete wielding Muslim attacks 2 policewomen in Belgium

Another machete attack took place, this time in a Belgian city:
Two female officers were attacked and wounded by a man wielding a machete and shouting “Allahu Akhbar” outside the main police station in the Belgian city of Charleroi on Saturday, police said.

The assailant was shot by a third officer and later died of his wounds, authorities said. The attacker’s identity and motive were not immediately known, Belgian Prime Minister Charles Michel said, but added the “first indications” suggested it was an act of terrorism.

“Thoughts are with the victims, their relatives and police officers,” Michel posted on Twitter. The prime minister broke off his vacation in the south of France and was returning to Belgium for an emergency meeting of the government’s National Security Council on Sunday.

Michel told RTL television in an interview that he has also asked the independent OCAM agency to immediately assess whether there is an increased threat to Belgian internal security. Belgium has been on high alert in the wake of the March 22 suicide bombings claimed by the Islamic State extremist group that killed 32 people in Brussels.

Charleroi police spokesman David Quinaux said Saturday’s attacker carried the weapon in a sports bag, and pulled it out as he arrived at a security checkpoint outside police headquarters in the southern Belgian city just before 4 p.m.

One of the two police, both of whom were described as experienced law enforcement officers, received several deep slashing cuts to the face, Quinaux said. The other was slightly wounded.

Both officers are now “out of danger,” Charleroi police announced Saturday evening on Twitter.

A third officer at the scene shot the attacker, who died of his wounds at a hospital, officials said.
The jihadist should burn in hell for what he did. And I'm sure Michel knows perfectly well what the assailant's motive was: jihadism.

They're merely trying to save face and pretend they had no accountability

A mosque in Rouen refuses to bury the jihadist who graphically murdered a priest at the city church. But nobody should be fooled:
COMMUNITY leaders have refused to bury one of the terrorists responsible for the murder of a Catholic priest in France.

They said they did not want to “taint” Islam by having any connection with Adel. Kermiche, the 19-year-old extremist who murdered Father Jacques Hamel in Normandy, reports The Sun.

Speaking on the decision, Mohammed Karabila, president of the local Muslim cultural association and imam, told Le Parisian: “We’re not going to taint Islam with this person.

“We won’t participate in preparing the body or the burial.”
Forget it, they're just trying to pretend neither their teachings nor the Koran had anything to do with the monster's behavior. Point: Islam itself is already tainted with the ideologies he went by. They'd be advised to just leave the country, and be honest about the Koran's contents.

Stabbing attack in London by Somali jihadist leaves American woman dead

Another lone wolf jihad attack took place in Britain, with an American woman victim this time (via Hot Air):
Police said they had arrested a 19-year-old man on suspicion of murder. The suspect is a Norwegian national of Somali origin, and “so far we have found no evidence of radicalization,” London Metropolitan Police Assistant Commissioner Mark Rowley said Thursday…

Rowley said that authorities’ main line of inquiry was focusing on mental health issues, essentially ruling out terrorism as a likely motive.

Officials briefed on the investigation had earlier told CNN they believed the case was a terror attack based on the initial evidence.

“Whilst the investigation is not yet complete — all of the work that we have done so far, increasingly points to this tragic incident as having been triggered by mental health issues. At this time we believe this was a spontaneous attack and the victims were selected at random,” Rowley told journalists.
It's clear they're using mental health as a superficial excuse to avoid the pressing issues at stake. And in doing so, they're disrespecting the memory of the terror victims. It's just like them.

"Blockbusting" by ultra-Orthodox realtors in Lakewood should be probed

A video was discovered where a spiritual leader in Lakewood encouraged Haredi residents to hound residents of nearby towns/neighborhoods that aren't Haredi to sell them their whole blocks:
A New Jersey township is calling on the U.S. Department of Justice to investigate haredi Orthodox community leaders for alleged “blockbusting,” or trying to pressure large numbers of longtime homeowners into selling their property to Orthodox Jews.

The incident is the latest example of tensions between a large and growing haredi Orthodox community in the Lakewood area and its non-Orthodox and non-Jewish neighbors.

For months, numerous residents in communities near Lakewood, in southern New Jersey, have accused real estate agents representing haredi Orthodox clients of aggressively pressing non-Orthodox homeowners to put their property on the market. Members of the Orthodox community have denied the claim.

On Tuesday, the Jackson Township Council said it was alarmed by videos circulating in which Orthodox leaders at the haredi Agudath Israel of America’s November convention encouraged Orthodox Jews to buy property in communities near Lakewood, the Asbury Park Press reported.

“Those videos very strongly indicated what I think many of us had feared or have attempted to prove, and that is there seems to be a cohesive attempt to blockbust our neighborhoods, to look at Jackson as a place to be taken over,” Rob Nixon, the council president, told the newspaper.
So instead of building their own houses, all they can think of is taking over everybody else's and indirectly saying they're wrong to be choosing where they want to live. It's offensive, not just because of the poor conduct towards non-Haredi and non-Jewish neighbors, but also because it can take away attention from more important issues like Islamofascism.

Now if those Lakewood wackos really want to apologize for all the trouble they caused with realtors who clearly aren't even well versed in their alleged professions, they'll cease all efforts and just buy some space in which to build their own houses and apartments. And not make it sound to non-Haredis like they're not allowed to live in neighborhoods the Haredis in NJ want to take over for nothing more than using as enclaves.

DNC chose a sharia advocate for their campaign

Here's a troubling issue that's just come up:
Notwithstanding his war-hero son’s genuinely patriotic example, Khizr M. Khan has published papers supporting the supremacy of Islamic law over “man-made” Western law — including the very Constitution he championed in his Democratic National Convention speech attacking GOP presidential nod Donald Trump.

In 1983, for example, Khan wrote a glowing review of a book compiled from a seminar held in Kuwait called “Human Rights In Islam” in which he singles out for praise the keynote address of fellow Pakistani Allah K. Brohi, a pro-jihad Islamic jurist who was one of the closest advisers to late Pakistani dictator Gen. Zia ul-Haq, the father of the Taliban movement.

Khan speaks admiringly of Brohi’s interpretation of human rights, even though it included the right to kill and mutilate those who violate Islamic laws and even the right of men to “beat” wives who act “unseemly.”

As Pakistani minister of law and religious affairs, Brohi helped create hundreds of jihadi incubators called madrassas and restored Sharia punishments, such as amputations for theft and demands that rape victims produce four male witnesses or face adultery charges. He also made insulting the Muslim prophet Muhammad a crime punishable by death. To speed the Islamization of Pakistan, he and Zia issued a law that required judges to consult mullahs on every judicial decision for Sharia compliance.

Khan, who says he immigrated to the U.S. in 1980 to escape Pakistan’s “military rule,” nonetheless spoke admiringly of Brohi in his review of his speech. He praised his remarks even though Brohi advocated for the enforcement of the medieval Sharia punishments, known as “hudood” (singular “hadd”), that were later adopted and carried out with brutal efficiency by the Taliban in neighboring Afghanistan.
The man's son may be a war hero, but the elderly Khan most certainly isn't, nor is he showing much knowledge of the Constitution himself. How can we even believe he immigrated to America to avoid Pakistan's dictatorships? This is truly awful.

Israeli Arabs are now willing to sell property to Jews more

There's some good news if you're somebody who wants to improve residential status for Jews in Israel:
Arabs across Israel and on both sides of the Green Line are increasingly willing to sell to Jews, says a Jerusalem city councilman, calling it a golden opportunity for Jewish buyers to redeem property in the Holy Land.

Jerusalem councilman Aryeh King, who has worked for years to redeem Jewish properties in what are now predominantly Arab neighborhoods in and around Jerusalem, is calling upon Diaspora Jews to take part in “rebuilding of Jerusalem”.

Ahead of a planned visit to a number of Jewish communities in the United States and Canada, King spoke with Arutz Sheva about the sudden surge of Arab properties available to Jewish buyers.

“The purpose of my visit to the US and Canada is because we are aware of a big change in the Arab population in Judea and Samaria, in Jerusalem, and in fact in all of Israel,” King said.

“More and more Arabs are offering properties for sale. Because of that the cost of properties that Arabs are selling is dropping and we are able to buy in areas that we never thought to buy. So this visit is really to expose the areas that we are already active [in] and to expose the properties to Jewish potential buyers".
I'm guessing the Arab residents are gaining courage, and the arrest of leftist Ezra Nawi could also be one of the reasons why they're more encouraged to sell property to Jews now.

It's a perfect opportunity for purchasing indeed, and I hope some buyers will make the effort to acquire the properties offered.

The lies of Hilary Clinton

Hot Air has some videos of news interviews with the awful former secretary of state showing how she keeps lying on some serious topics, including her mishandling of the Benghazi disaster.

She is truly one of the most dishonest politicians out there.
