(IsraelNN.com) Police have arrested the director of the northern office of the Prime Minister on charges of taking 12 million shekels ($2.6 million) from people in return for promises that the money would be invested in real estate.Speaking of which, the millionaire Daniel Abrahams has also recently admitted to buying the real estate property from Olmert, "because Olmert's a friend of mine." The suspect, Eli Dahan, was arrested two weeks ago, but the charges were made public Tuesday. He is accused of using the money for his personal use, according the Hebrew news site NFC.
