The veteran actress Debra Winger, in her old of age and apparently no longer getting work in Hollywood, decided to throw away her reputation by participating in an attack on Donald Trump's NYC estate, taking part in a demonstration for the sake of an anti-Israel activist:
Demonstrators from a Jewish group filled the lobby of Trump Tower on Thursday to denounce the immigration arrest of Mahmoud Khalil, a pro-Palestinian activist who helped lead protests against Israel at Columbia University.Does that sound like somebody who's pro-Israel being interviewed by the AP Wire? Nope. It just sounds like somebody who had a phony upbringing in the Judaist religion. She's as bad as actor/playwright Wallace Shawn, who's also signaled his support for terrorists, and after this, it'll be exceedingly difficult for me to watch any past films and TV programs with Winger again. I'm not sure she was ever particularly successful in the long run anyway as a Hollywood actress, so that could explain why years later, she's turned to this kind of atrocious behavior, when here, she had a chance to do something better like be a book writer. Instead, she threw it all away for the sake of leftist politics and supporting terrorism.
The Jewish Voice for Peace protesters, who carried banners and wore red shirts reading “Jews say stop arming Israel,” chanted “Bring Mahmoud home now!”

Among those who took part in Thursday’s protest was actor Debra Winger, who has discussed her Jewish faith and upbringing over the years.
Winger accused the Trump administration of having “no interest in Jewish safety” and “co-opting antisemitism.”
“I’m just standing up for my rights, and I’m standing up for Mahmoud Khalil, who has been abducted illegally and taken to an undisclosed location,” she told The Associated Press. “Does that sound like America to you?”
