The Daily Caller says the woke left may regret promoting NYC mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani. But that's mostly because of something not everybody may have considered:

Mamdani’s support for causes such as the LGBTQ movement may contradict Islamic fundamentalists’ goals, but for now, they’re willing to unite with the left against the supposed ills of Western society. While marketing himself to Muslims, Mamdani has also pushed for government-funded sex-change “care” and attended an LGBTQ “Pride” rally in June.

Mamdani’s campaign did not respond to a request for comment from the DCNF.

The far-left candidate is a member of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), a group that credited his primary win in June with driving a boost in membership. The DSA’s political platform calls for social goals such as the “liberation of queer people” and decriminalizing prostitution, which is banned under Islamic governments such as Iran.

Simultaneously, Mamdani has courted anti-Israel Muslim voters while on the campaign trail. In May, a pro-Mamdani super PAC accepted a $1,000 donation from Siraj Wahhaj, an imam who has advocated for Islamic rule to replace America’s republican form of government, the DCNF previously reported. Wahhaj also defended a terror plot mastermind as a “strong preacher of Islam” in his 1995 trial and has endorsed Mamdani for mayor.

Despite what he's promoting in his platforms, chances are fully possible no Muslim children will be obligated in any way to be subject to these repulsive surgeries, and no Muslim parents will be forced to even so much as used "preferred pronouns". If Mamdani enables such things in NYC, should he become their equivalent to London's Sadiq Khan in Britain, it'll only be for the "kuffar". With the worst part being that this is doubtless what they want, if that's what helps precipitate an increase and majority of Muslims in New York.

Yet chances really are very high Mamdani will be willing to shut down a lot of what non-Islamic leftists uphold, seeing how in London, LGBT culture may have declined under Khan, and worst, Islamic sharia will take hold in NYC and the surrounding area. With perhaps the most stupefying part being that the leftists, LGBT and otherwise, may actually be willling to accomodate the Religion of Peace's opposition to such cultures, and only for Islam will they abandon their positions.
