Austrian airline caves to Haredi group who refused to sit next to women

Coming a week after an offensive incident with El Al, now an Austrian airline's also made the terrible mistake of kowtowing to ultra-Orthodox extremists:

The takeoff of Austrian Airlines flight OS860 from Ben Gurion Airport to Vienna was delayed for 40 minutes Friday because 26 haredi passengers refused to sit in the seats assigned to them. The reason for the sit-off: Some of the haredim were seated next to women.

The pilot came out of the cockpit and persuaded the women to move to other seats. One of them was placed next to an emergency exit.

[...] The haredi group said that it had reserved a concentrated group of seats in a flight scheduled for Thursday but that flight had been cancelled and they were placed on the Friday flight at the last moment, in different seats.

Forget it, I'm not accepting these dumb excuses. They could sit next to women if they wanted to. Instead, they cause harm to public relations and damage their ability to have a comfy ride. It's hugely disappointing that even a European airline's succumbed to this nonsense.

Prince William shows why his visit to Israel was nothing to be impressed with

Britain's prince William came to visit Israel...and the PLO. In his visit to see the latter, he showed why it's no big deal he came at all:

Prince William, paying the first official British royal visit to the Palestinian Authority territories on Wednesday, told Palestinians they had not been forgotten and his trip to the West Bank was a “very powerful one”.

“My message tonight is that you have not been forgotten, it has been a very powerful experience to meet you and other Palestinians in the West Bank and to hear your stories,” the prince said in a speech at a garden party at the British Consulate General in Jerusalem.

“I hope that through my being here and understanding the challenges you face, the links of friendship and mutual respect between the Palestinian and British people can grow stronger.”

The prince traveled to the West Bank on Wednesday, spreading a message of peace as he met with the Palestinian Authority president and toured a Palestinian refugee camp.

The Duke of Cambridge was welcomed by an honor guard as he turned his attention to the Palestinians on the second day of his swing through the Holy Land. It is the first official visit to the area by a member of the royal family.

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas Abbas appealed to the prince and the British people to support the Palestinian campaign for independence.

William, trying to steer clear of politics, praised what he called the close ties between Britain and the Palestinians.

So much, in fact, that he refused to meet Jerusalem mayor Nir Barkat in Jerusalem itself (also via Breitbart). So Barkat had to turn down any meeting at all, if William wouldn't recognize his validity as mayor. How is that "steering clear of politics"? The visit by William to Israel was not worth celebrating as a result.

Poland amends its dreadful law on Holocaust

The Polish government finally made some changes to its ill-advised law on how to comment about anybody's role in the Holocaust there:

Poland on Wednesday amended a controversial Holocaust law that sparked outrage in Israel by imposing jail terms on anyone claiming the government was responsible for Nazi German war crimes.

The amendment removes fines or criminal penalties of up to three years in prison for anyone found guilty of ascribing Nazi crimes to the Polish nation or state.

Lawmakers in Poland’s right-wing dominated lower house of parliament voted 388 in favour of the amendment, with 25 against and five abstentions.

The Senate is expected to adopt the amendment later on Wednesday before it is signed into law by the president.

Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki proposed the changes out of the blue earlier on Wednesday, telling MPs that the criminal penalties had “stirred so much controversy they began to be counterproductive.”

The law, passed by Poland’s Senate in February made it a criminal offense to ascribe “responsibility or co-responsibility to the Polish nation or state for crimes committed by the German Third Reich”.

To put anybody in prison over stating facts is stunningly insane and does as much harm as nazism itself. It's also the kind of thing that gives Europe a bad name, and there's only so many countries there that still have archaic laws that have to be done away with. Poland's current steps are a positive sign for now.

Afula stabbing victim is lucky to survive

Should've posted this before, but here's the news about the girl in Afula who was stabbed by a Muslim terrorist. She thankfully survived:

Shuva Malka, the 18-year-old high school student from the Jeanie Gluck Girls High School Academy in Beit El who was stabbed by an Arab terrorist in the northern city of Afula last week, expressed her thanks Sunday to the Israeli security forces responsible for capturing her assailant, as well as to the hospital staff at HaEmek Medical Center which treated her after the attack.

“Thank God, who really, truly, performed a great miracle for us,” said Shuva Malka. “It wasn’t obvious at all during the moments after the attack that I was [still even] alive.”

“I also thank the security forces. We have no anger. We have total faith in the security forces, that they have the ability, and will do everything they can.”

Malka spoke to reporters in her hospital room about the attack, emphasizing that the stabbing was not simply a personal experience for her, but an assault on the Jewish people.

“This stabbing wasn’t just something personal for me – it was for the whole Jewish people. A reminder that we need to move forward, we need to get past this, to work harder, to excel.”

Earlier on Sunday, hospital officials announced that Malka had been released from the intensive care ward.

The terrorist, a resident of the Palestinian Authority-controlled city of Jenin who entered Israel illegally, was shot during the incident and moderately wounded. He was initially hospitalized at HaEmek Medical Center, but was later transferred to another hospital.

The girl's very fortunate. As for the terrorist, he shouldn't have been hospitalized at all, just left to die a slow, torturous death for what he did.

Wash. Post columnist is worried about the oh-so important EU

Washington Post columnist Josh Rogin is accusing Donald Trump of wanting to destabilize the unhelpful European Union:

As President Trump heads to Europe next month for the NATO summit and then a historic meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, his personal attacks on the European Union and other pillars of the Western order are overshadowing his own administration’s attempts to reassure allies that the United States still believes in the transatlantic project it has led since the 1940s.

During a private meeting at the White House in late April, Trump was discussing trade with French President Emmanuel Macron. At one point, he asked Macron, “Why don’t you leave the E.U.?” and said that if France exited the union, Trump would offer it a bilateral trade deal with better terms than the E.U. as a whole gets from the United States, according to two European officials. The White House did not dispute the officials’ account, but declined to comment.

Well as a matter of fact, that's actually a very good idea for France to withdraw from the EU, along with other countries, because the EU's not delivering on important subjects like combating terrorism and keeping the continent safe. Every individual country should have the right to self-governence and just as good, make it possible to run a capitalist lifestyle. Trouble is, Macron may not agree. But all that aside, I think Trump's idea is a good one, and Rogin would do well to just let go of the subject already, and not side with the crummy EU, when their politics are doing nothing to improve the continent's interests.

The USA was right to withdraw from the UNHRC

Yoram Ettinger spoke about the USA's withdrawal from the UN's pseudo-human rights council, which did nothing more than serve as an anti-Israeli and anti-American platform for all the usual suspects:

"The United Nations Human Rights Council" and the principle of human rights are two things diametrically opposed to each other. The makeup of the council, which is determined by geographic location and dictates anti-American conduct by the leadership of nondemocratic regimes, is proof of that.

Council member Venezuela, for example, is a dictatorship that puts opposition leaders in prison, is anti-American, and is aligned with the ayatollahs' regime in Iran. The Congo is ruled by a dictator who murders those who oppose him and is keeping his seat in violation of his country's constitution. Pakistan is accused of gross, wholesale human rights violations, from routine executions to religious oppression, and serves as a haven for anti-American terrorism.

Another member of the UNHRC is Afghanistan, which sends out terrorist groups to "take care of" opponents of the regime. Burundi, which is accused of crimes like kidnapping, torture, and execution of those who voice opposition, refuses to cooperate with investigators from the council of which it is a member. Cuba also continues to suppress opposition, free media and human rights. Other stars on the list of member states despite their consistent human rights violations are Rwanda, Senegal, Togo, Angola, Iraq, Tunisia, Qatar and China.

The signs are not new. In 2008, the UNHRC showed its real face when all 47 of its members approved the appointment of Richard Falk, who is known for his particularly venomous attitude toward the U.S., for a six-year term as the council's special rapporteur on human rights in the Palestinian territories.

Falk accused then-President George W. Bush of whitewashing conclusions about 9/11, and even hinted that right-wing American elements might have been involved. After the Boston Marathon bombing in 2013, Falk quoted the poet W.H. Auden: "Those to whom evil is done, do evil in return."

This is all you need to know why it's best for the USA to simply withdraw from their phony panel, and should withdraw from the whole organization as well. They've associated themselves with terrorists, funders for the same, and even denigrated victims of terrorism to boot. There's no need to continue supporting this repulsive outfit, and the people who're part of it should be shunned by any sane society. I'd like to thank Trump and Haley for their courageous step in leaving the inhuman council that's but one of the worst parts of the UN.

El Al planes got in trouble over allowing Haredis to delay flight over women again, and MK Eichler defends discrimination

Earlier this week, El Al once again caused a needless scandal by caving to Haredi men who didn't want to sit next to women on a plane from the USA to Israel. They say they're sorry and won't allow it anymore, and we have to hope this time they'll be true to their word:

Israeli airline El Al said it would "immediately" remove any person from a flight who won't sit next to another passenger following outrage after four ultra-Orthodox men refused to take their assigned seats because they were next to women.

An incident last Friday at Kennedy Airport on El Al's New York-Tel Aviv flight prompted one of Israel's largest tech firms to say it would boycott the national airline. The women in that case were moved away from the men — despite a court ruling against the practice.

Barak Eilam, CEO of Ra’anana-based software company NICE Systems, said his company would not fly with the Israeli flag-carrier until it changed its “practice and actions discriminating [against] women.”

"At NICE we don't do business with companies that discriminate against race, gender or religion," he wrote on LinkedIn.

Well I hope this time, they'll conduct business properly, and immediately remove any Haredi passenger who makes petty issues over gender, even keeping their eyes shut during the whole journey. And this is almost a year after a landmark ruling forbidding such practices as even asking passengers to move.

As if this case couldn't get irritating enough, now the Haredi MK Yisrael Eichler's threatening to counter-boycott El Al if they dare to uphold the law:

An ultra-Orthodox Knesset member has threatened El Al with a consumer boycott should the airline remove ultra-Orthodox passengers unwilling to sit next to women from its flights, characterizing criticism of such passengers as “anti-Semitic” and “terrorism.”

An El Al flight from New York to Israel last week was delayed for over an hour amidst intense arguments, as a number of ultra-Orthodox men refused to sit next to women. The flight was only able to depart after two women agreed to change seats.

Wow, he even has the sheer disgust to pull out antisemitism cards, and worse, use wordings like "terrorism" in Orwellian ways to describe the case. This is atrocious. Does he also think it's anti-semitic to criticize community members who allow child abuse to be carried out within the community without opposition?

Following the incident and in light of intense public backlash, El Al CEO Gonen Usishkin said that in the future, any passenger who refuses seating “will be immediately removed from the flight.”

United Torah Judaism MK Yisrael Eichler pushed back against the notion that the men’s behavior on the flight was illegitimate, saying Wednesday in the Knesset plenum that claims the women were in any way humiliated or excluded were “malicious… anti-Semitic libel.”

Eichler asserted, “Never has anyone been forced to move against their wishes.

“In any airline, and in El Al as well, there are various requests to change seats… Each person has his considerations over where to sit. But to say women are being excluded is a lie,” he said. “After all, just as there are men who do not want to be seated beside women there is an equal number of Haredi women who do not want to sit beside men.”

That's no excuse for such behavior either, and their religious beliefs are petty. He ignores that even some religious folks on the plane expressed disgust at the ultra-Orthodox passengers' conduct. Even if the women didn't object, what the men did was still disrespectful of their humanity, to say nothing of the entire passenger body, and was a violation of the law. If he sees nothing wrong with lawbreaking and thinks Haredis are exempt, then he's only done even more of a disfavor even to his constituents.

Eichler went on to threaten El Al with a massive boycott by his constituents should it make good on its vow.

“El Al shuttles hundreds of thousands of Haredi Jews every year,” he said. “The last thing I expect them to do is remove passengers who ask to change seats. I’m telling El Al that if you give in to the terrorism of Haredi-hating groups and remove a passenger who behaved properly and asked nicely to sit next to a man, we will remove hundreds of thousands of your passengers every year. Terror against terror.”

Gee, wasn't that what already happened when Yishai Schlissel murdered Shira Banki at the LGBT march 3 years ago? In any case, threatening terror while falsely accusing the actual victims of the same is offensive in the extreme, and he should be ashamed of himself for his repellent socialist-influenced attitude. Anyway, if that's the way he wants it, then fine, boycott the airline and make it easier for everyone else to fly without petty interruptions. I'll be glad if his ilk does decide to boycott, for all the good it'll do them, given it's a felony to cause such disruptions on American airlines, for example.

The Hamas opens fire with more rockets

The Hamas dictatorship in Gaza is unleashing their anti-Israeli attacks for the millionth time:

The Israeli military struck Hamas positions in the ‎Gaza Strip in the early hours of Wednesday morning ‎after terrorists fired over 12 projectiles at ‎Israeli communities near Israel's border with ‎the coastal enclave.‎

The Iron Dome rocket defense system intercepted ‎three of the projectiles with the rest hitting open ‎areas, the IDF Spokesperson's Unit said.‎

The Color Red alert blared cross the frontier's ‎Shaar Hanegev, Hof Ashkelon and Sdot Negev regional ‎‎councils and the nearby city of Sderot between 1:40 ‎a.m. and 4 a.m. ‎

The salvo followed an Israeli strike in northeast ‎Gaza that targeted a Hamas vehicle transporting a ‎cell involved in the arson terrorism campaign that ‎has been wreaking havoc on Israel's Gaza-vicinity ‎communities.‎

Not willing to learn any lessons because they're already devoted to death at all costs. The raid on Gaza is long overdue.

A former beauty contestant confirms Miss America pageants were empowering

Former Miss America contestant Crystal Lee addressed the SJW-capitulation of the contest in the Los Angeles Times (via Breitbart), and made clear it's not what grotesque feminists want everyone to think:

Walking out in a bikini before a crowd cheering my name gave me a rush and sense of courage I never thought possible. I know will never again be able to get that feeling.

Miss America had been under pressure for years to end the swimsuit tradition, which is as old as the pageant itself. Beauty pageants are considered sexist today, so Miss America chose to innovate rather than die. I understand why. Like consumer products, cultural rituals are always evolving. To survive, pageants need to behave like businesses and react to a new market of women with different needs.

Still, dropping the swimwear category is a loss to the contest. It delivered a powerful message: that beauty and brains are not mutually exclusive and that you can be a feminist and flaunt your body. Letting contestants don the bikini was inherently feminist because women made that choice for themselves. Future participants will be forced into a new form of sexism, one that emerges out of today’s popular feminist narrative. It may be driven by contemporary ideas, but it disguises the same, familiar barriers and judgments surrounding women’s decisions.

Critics love to lambast pageants for being objectifying and degrading. But ask contestants like me. We’ll tell you we were baring our midriffs because we wanted to.

And honestly, I don't buy a word of the apologists who're claiming they're getting calls from prospective contestants who allegedly don't want to appear in bikinis and such. It's all just lies to further their SJW agendas. If they're going to dumb down the pageant now, then it's best to change the channel to one where there's a smaller, better pageant taking place, or one whose managers aren't sellouts to sex-negative ideologies.

Just another reason why I'd rather not have a Facebook account

Mark Zuckerberg's horrifically censorious/deleterious social network banned the accounts of Generation Identity in Europe:

The anti-mass migration Generation Identity movement has been banned permanently from Facebook, after all of their official pages were deleted due to “extremist content.”

Over the last several weeks the group has seen page after page disappear from the social media giant’s platform with little or no explanation, but a new report claims that Facebook has permanently banned the hipster-right identitarians, accusing them of posting “extremist content”.

According to the paper, Facebook confirmed that the group had been permanently banned from the platform, “citing their policies against extremist content and organised hate groups.”

The ban impacts all branches of the identitarian movement, including in Britain, Austria, Italy, Germany, Denmark, Hungary, and France, where the original Generation Identitaire group was founded.

The French wing of the movement put out a press release when censorship of their pages began earlier this year, saying: “By depriving Generation Identitaire of any representation on its platform, Facebook tries to gag a political movement that has accumulated hundreds of thousands of subscribers throughout Europe.”

“Our lawyer has already put Facebook on notice to reactivate all Generation Identitaire and Defend Europe pages. If the company administering the network does not run, we will immediately initiate legal proceedings,” they added, indicating a possible future legal battle with the social media giant.

Given that there is competition available, that's why they should set up accounts on other servers like Minds, where I have an account, and make an effort to encourage people to try those as well, even if they do win their possible lawsuit. But in any case, I fully agree this was wrong of Facebook to do that, and it's high time somebody got around to legally confronting them about it.

British Muslim disgusts plane passengers with anti-semitic insults, yet walks free from court

For an offensive act that could be construed as harassment, if anything, a Muslim in Britain was let off with merely a slap on the wrist (via Jihad Watch):

A Muslim businessman who reduced airline passengers to tears with anti-Semitic insults has walked free from court after he blamed his racist remarks on smoking cannabis during Ramadan.

Company director Shamraize Bashir, 34, was travelling back to the UK from Israel with friends when he launched a foul-mouthed five minute rant.

He was heard to say: ‘You know the really fat Jewish women yeah? Their job is to let their husbands f*** them and make babies for them.’

Fellow passengers on the easyJet flight from Tel Aviv urged Bashir to stop swearing,but he responded: ‘I’m not f***ing swearing – you can’t tell me what to do, even my own mum doesn’t tell me what to do.’

One tearful woman was so offended during Bashir’s outburst that she swapped seats with another passenger.

The court heard the incident occurred last June 17 when Bashir and seven friends were returning to the UK on the 9.30pm flight from the Israeli city.

Bashir, from Bradford, West Yorkshire, was arrested when the plane touched down in Manchester and was ordered to do community service when he appeared before a court this week.

He admitted to using racially aggravated threatening behaviour but he denied being racist, claiming his use of cannabis during the Islamic fasting season had affected his behaviour.

He told the court: ‘It was out of character, I do believe that this is down to smoking cannabis and that a course would help with that.’

Use of cannabis, which I doubt he did, is not a defense for such revolting behavior. Of course, you could argue the court let him off easy for possible drug use as well. But then, this is England, where they really degraded themselves with their kowtowing mentality, so it's no surprise at all they'd go easy on such a creep.

Significant victories for "chained" wives

Here's a thankful ruling by a special court on the marriage status of "chained" women whose husbands wouldn't grant them a "get":

In a groundbreaking development for divorce rights in Israel, Tzviya Gorodetsky, who has sought a divorce from her husband for 23 years, has been freed from her marriage by a private, ad hoc Orthodox rabbinical court headed by respected Orthodox rabbi and talmudist Rabbi Daniel Sperber.

The ruling could pave the way for more such women to avail themselves of private rabbinical courts, if they believe that they have no chance of ever escaping their failed marriages. It follows other attempts to bypass established religious institutions in such realms as conversion, kashrut and marriage.

A similar ruling by another such ad hoc court was issued in 2013.

The Chief Rabbinate is certain to reject the validity of the divorce, but Gorodetsky could likely remarry in a private Orthodox ceremony if she so wished.

Gorodetsky, 54, was married to her husband for nine years and had four children with him before eventually requesting a divorce in 1995 due to his violent and abusive behavior towards her, which included beating her while she was pregnant so that she miscarried and throwing acid on her.

He steadfastly refused to grant a bill of divorce even after being ordered by the State Rabbinical Court to so. This led the court to eventually jail him; he has been sitting in prison for the last 18 years, unmoved in his determination never to grant his wife a divorce.

If the chief rabbinate even dares to rear their ugly head and shun the ruling, they'll only prove they consider gender bigotry more important than justice, so I'd suggest they keep their mouths shut. The private court did the right thing, making God proud for defending an innocent woman from the shame her husband put her through, as he even packed a suitcase and was willing to sit in prison for the rest of his life just to spite a woman he'd assaulted. For that, he should have been jailed regardless, as spousal abuse is a felony, after all. Is he ultra-Orthodox? If so, he's not only given his kind a bad name, much like the men in the rabbinate itself today, he's even demonstrated how there's quite a few Haredis out there willing to trash their lives all for the sake of twisted beliefs and lack of caring about life itself.

And, in a more recent case of another woman whose husband fled rather than grant one, another court nullified the marriage:

In an extremely rare move, an official rabbinic court annulled the marriage of a Jewish Israeli woman whose husband has refused to grant her a religious bill of divorce for the past five years, the court announced Monday.

Two years ago, Oded Guez fled the country using a forged passport to escape the sanctions and public shaming the rabbinic court had ordered against him for refusing to grant his wife a get, or religious divorce.

On Monday, a Haifa rabbinical court said it had found a legal way to allow Guez’s wife, who has not been named, to remarry, even without receiving a bill of divorce.

“After intensive discussions, during which the court heard testimony and professional opinions and evaluations, and after great effort by the court, it was decided today to nullify the marriage and to allow Mrs. Guez to end her status as a ‘chained woman,'” the court said in a statement. “This means that Mrs. Guez’s status is like that of a single woman who has never married.”

The court said that the details of the legal mechanism by which it nullified the marriage was confidential.

“I am pleased that one of the most difficult ‘chained wife’ case that the court has dealt with has come to an end,” said Rabbi David Malka, director of the government appointed Rabbinical Courts. “This demonstrates once again that the court takes all the measures at its disposal — both operational and within Jewish law, and leaves no stone unturned in its huge efforts to bring relief to all chained women in the State of Israel.”

Guez is currently awaiting extradition to Israel from Belgium, where he was captured after a manhunt across several European countries, after the rabbinic court found he had committed a criminal offense.

It's stunning how the whole approach to marriage/divorce here has led to a culture of selfish spouses who're even willing to break the law to spite their wedding partners. This is precisely why the law has to be changed so that religion and state are made separate. For now, these woman are lucky.

Erdogan's imminent reelection will only further a serious problem for the sane world

A Fox News contributor accurately notes the likelihood Recep Erdogan, Turkey's dictator, will continue in the role for at least another decade:

Some voters have the hope of an opposition victory as the result of Erdogan’s lackluster campaign and a spiraling currency crisis. It’s more realistic, however, to start thinking about the problem that his victory is bound to cause for the rest of the world, and especially for the U.S.

Pollsters recalculating the probability of a victorious or defeated Erdogan forget one important feature of Turkey’s so-called democracy: it isn’t one. Erdogan has already stacked the cards for his own success in this election.

After the fixed outcome arrives, Erdogan will lead a Turkey that is more militarily interventionist throughout the broader Middle East and more willing to cooperate with Russian President Vladimir Putin at the cost of the U.S. interests, and those of NATO and the European Union.

It'll come at Israel's expense too, as I'm sure many realize. Already, in fact, as this article tells, it looks like Erdogan's already ensured his fixed victory too:

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan took a commanding lead in his bid Sunday for a presidency with broadly expanded powers, with partial results reported by the country’s state-run news agency showing him with more than 50 percent of the vote — enough to avoid a runoff.

The high-stakes presidential contest and a parliamentary election also held Sunday were set to either consolidate Erdogan’s grip on power or curtail his vast political ambitions. The vote will complete Turkey’s transition from a parliamentary to a new executive presidential system, a move approved in a referendum last year.

Presidential, you say? More like dictatorial. The results are no shock at all, and only inform us Erdogan's going to be a despot for much longer time. For which reason, it's high time sanctions were imposed upon Turkey, until his regime can be stopped.

British government doesn't recognize Jerusalem's Old City as Israeli

The UK government's up to their old, offensive tricks again, this time refusing to recognize the Old City, and calling it "occupied":

The British ambassador to Israel on Thursday defended describing Jerusalem’s Old City as being part of the “Occupied Palestinian Territories” in the itinerary for Prince William’s upcoming visit to Israel and the West Bank.

“All the terminology that was used in the program was consistent with years of practice by British governments. It’s consistent with British government policy,” David Quarrey said.

The royal itinerary, published last week by Kensington Palace, raised some eyebrows in Israel, as it indicates that the palace considers the Old City to be Palestinian territory occupied by the Jewish state.

According to the itinerary for the June 24-28 regional visit, William — also known as the Duke of Cambridge — will travel first to Jordan, followed by Israel on June 25-27.

On June 27, “the program will shift to its next leg – the Occupied Palestinian Territories” and on June 28 Prince William — the second-in-line to the throne — will receive a “short briefing on the history and geography of Jerusalem’s Old City from a viewing point at the Mount of Olives,” Kensington Palace said.

“There’s no political message in this,” Quarrey insisted. “The Duke is not a political figure. He’ll be here to see a little bit of the country and to get to meet some of the people here. And also to get a flavor of Israel, to see what’s happening here, some of the extraordinary successes in technology, some of the great culture here. And he really wants to get under the skin of the country.”

The claim this isn't political has to be the most laughable defense I've seen. And that this is UK government policy is exactly the problem - it's all they care about, and if they don't change it, it'll only perpetuate a long-running problem that's only caused serious harm in the long term. The disturbing Haredi-Muslim alliance in the Knesset

Anyone wondering why the Haredis are working to defeat the "muezzin law" in the Knesset should read this article:

The coalition government’s two haredi factions will oppose a bill aimed at preventing mosques from using loudspeakers during their night-time calls to prayer, a senior haredi lawmaker reaffirmed Tuesday.

In recent years, Knesset members have pursued legislation to crack down on the nightly disturbances caused by the Muslim call to prayer, which is blasted five times a day – including the “fajr” prayer before dawn and the late-night “isha” prayer.

The use of mosque loudspeakers to broadcast the calls to prayer have created serious disturbances for non-Muslim neighbors and nearby communities.

The latest bill intended to block the noisy late-night muezzin calls was drafted by Moti Yogev (Jewish Home) and Robert Ilatov (Yisrael Beytenu).

While the law appeared to have wide backing in the coalition, haredi MKs objected to the proposal, initially due to the concern that a broad ban on outdoor loudspeakers at houses of worship could affect synagogues use of PA systems ahead of the Sabbath.

Later, however, United Torah Judaism MKs revealed they had cut a deal with Arab lawmakers to block the “Muezzin Law” in exchange for support on other pieces of legislation.

"We do 'business' with them so that they will support laws important to the haredi public," UTJ MK Menachem Eliezer Moses explained earlier this year.

What laws? And what level of value? Even some Haredis live near areas where mosques can play that loud noise and can be frustrated by it, so what they're doing is as disrespectful to their own public as it is to anybody else. Not to mention dangerous. This is disgusting, and demonstrates again why UTJ and Shas aren't fit to be politicians.

Haredi birthrates in Britain reverse declining trends, but is that a good thing?

Not if these are clans like Satmar and Neturei Karta we're talking about, and the UK may have the most significant of their European communities living there. The JTA has the following:

High birthrates among the haredi Orthodox are responsible for a recent growth in the number of British Jews following decades of decline, a new study shows.

The trend was featured in a report published Thursday by the Institute for Jewish Policy Research, or JPR, and the Board of Deputies of British Jews.

[...] “The high fertility rates among the haredi sector are the main reason why we observe the positive natural increase of the Jewish population in the UK since 2006,” the report states. Haredi Jews are a growing minority in British Jewry. In 2015, haredi births accounted for 47 percent of all Jewish births, the report’s authors estimate.

[...] A JPR report from 2015 said Britain’s haredi community is increasing by nearly 5 percent a year while the wider, non-haredi Jewish population is decreasing by 0.3 percent. Haredim are projected to become the majority group within British Jewry by 2031, according to the 2015 report.

What's not discussed here is whether these are the very aforementioned anti-Zionist clans driving a new birthrate. Because similar to Muslims, they come as a favored class in Britain because of their ideological beliefs, and many do live on socialist welfare. That's why it's just not good news, and besides, with many non-Haredi Jews having left Britain because of their own failure to protect against Muslim anti-semitism, this is why the Haredi community there is rising anyway, boosted by the very socialism they're exploiting for all it's worth. Their ideological standings are why this is, sadly, a negative form of increase.

Philadelphia schools add Islamic holidays and discard Jewish ones

The way Philly's school system went about this makes them look more like they're appeasing Muslim anti-semitism:

Philadelphia's Mayor Jim Kenney suggested a different standard in announcing the city's decision to close public schools for Muslim holidays. Rather than focusing on practical need, Kenney explained: "Our city was built on the idea that ... the city welcomes all to worship and practice the faiths of our culture or our choosing[.] ... We have to take into account how society sometimes ostracizes and eliminates people from the mainstream[.]" In other words, schools should close on minorities' religious holidays so their adherents feel accepted.

Sadly, Philadelphia's approach to holiday closures fails both standards. Its public schools closed June 12, 2018, in time for Muslim students to celebrate Eid al-Fitr, beginning June 15. Without determining whether the numbers of practitioners necessitated the change, Philadelphia added Muslim holidays to its calendar to make Muslims feel welcome – and paid for it partly by reducing Jewish holiday observances, school district documents show. What's more, the school district underhandedly failed to identify the reasons for the change.[...]

Clearly, Philadelphia did not adopt the ADL's approach to scheduling religious holidays. It did not determine how many teachers or students wanted Jewish holidays off, nor does it have good data about the number of Muslims, let alone how many want holidays off. Whack stated that the school district did not know how many teachers or students are Jewish. He refused to answer whether it knew how many are Muslim. Hite's briefing notes assert that there are "28,000 Muslims in the School District," but neither it nor Whack provided a source for that statistic.

Well this figures. Naturally, nobody has what it takes to say they'd be much happier if adherents of a bad religion would abandon it; that's how they can be accepted, and feel the same. On top of that, I think the board is acting illegally by not providing any data to back up their shoddy positions, and for this, they should be taken to court.

Why, this even makes me wonder: do they teach anything about 9-11? Because their approach is disrespectful to the memory of those lost, and the Philly education board should be ashamed of themselves.

French leftists detest identifying heroic policeman as victim of Islamofascism

A memorial plaque dedicated to the late Arnaud Beltrame, who gave his life to save a woman from a jihadist in Montfermeil, was erected identifying him as the victim of jihadism he was, and French leftists are making fauxtrages about it:

French leftists in the commune of Montfermeil were angered by the inclusion of the term “Islamist terror” on a plaque commemorating hero police officer Arnaud Beltrame who traded himself for a hostage during a terror attack and was killed in March.

Local politicians of the Front de Gauche, or Left Front, said their objection to the wording was because it supported a view of “religious war”, Le Parisien reports.

[...] Members of the Montfermeil Muslims Association were also unhappy over the wording of the plaque with the secretary general of the association Farid Kachour saying he would have preferred the term “victim of terrorism, or Daesh, but not the term Islam”.

Obviously, they're not considering what the guy's family thinks, which could be quite the opposite, and their opposition to the fact-stating is offensive. If they don't like it, then get out of town.

If this is how the leftists are acting, then everything must be done to defend the plaque and make sure it's known what the poor man had to sacrifice his life to save an innocent woman from. Don't let these leftists and Islamists desecrate his memory with their dismal politics.

Malmo is filled with gun violence

You can pretty much guess how it got there, but anyway, this Swedish city with a huge Muslim population is now experiencing a whole shooting nightmare, not unlike what London's experiencing today in Britain:

Shooting fatalities in the heavily migrant-populated Swedish city of Malmö are set to exceed 2017’s total, the morbid statistic propelled forward by the recent gang shooting in the area.

The multicultural city has been dealing with a fresh wave of criminal gang violence which surged earlier this week when three people were killed outside an internet cafe in an apparent drive-by shooting.

In 2017 across the entire southern police region, including Malmö and the city of Lund, ten people were killed in shootings, while deaths as a result of shootings across the whole country have also seen a rapid increase rising from 17 dead in 2011 to 40 in 2017.

No doubt many of the weapons came from the black market. And now, Sweden's disastrous immigration policies are taking their toll in a truly awful way.

50-ish illegal migrant smuggler marries one to keep him in Europe

A woman from Switzerland who clearly lacks self-confidence has converted to Islam and married an illegal migrant she helped smuggle to Europe, who's notably younger than her:

A 56-year-old Swiss woman who was arrested and convicted of trying to smuggle her failed asylum seeker lover into Switzerland has now married him in an “Islamic ceremony” in hopes he can remain in Europe.

Barbara Schwager married 27-year-old Pakistani migrant Nadeem Akram in Italy where the couple currently lives following Schwager’s conviction for attempting to illegally smuggle him into Switzerland last year, Blick reports.

The couple has been living in Italy due to Schwager allegedly not being able to afford the fine handed down following her conviction and risks several days in prison if she returns to Switzerland.

I think they both should be deported back to the scummy male's own country, if it's such a big deal for her. She's truly a disgrace and bad for Europe if she's going to lionize these kind of creeps. Oddly enough:

The trend of older single women forming sexual relationships with young migrants has been noted in neighbouring Austria where so-called “sugar mamas” are said to entice young migrants with cash and gifts in return for sexual favours.

The migrants targeted by the women sometimes complain that despite the gifts, the women ask too much of them. “She wants sex with me four times a day, I am a sex machine for her, nothing more,” one asylum seeker named Hasan said.

Honestly, this is strange coming from the migrant, because it's possible some of them would be delighted to engage in sex, even with older women. Of course, some of them could also be homosexual, recalling last year how there were illegal immigrants from Africa in northern Paris who were scaring women away, being quite hostile to them.

In any event, the fact remains that we have here a case of a criminal who's helping other dangerous criminals exploit Europe for all it's worth, and she should be exiled along with him.

Leftist traitor Gonen Segev arrested for spying on Israel for Iran

Gonen Segev, who accepted bribes to join Yitzhak Rabin's Labor government in 1993 and was partly responsible for enabling the Oslo accords, has been arrested on charges of espionage for the country that's currently proving the worst nuclear threat in the Islamic world:

Former government minister Gonen Segev has been charged with spying for Iran, Israel’s Shin Bet internal security agency announced on Monday.

The former energy and infrastructure minister – who also spent time in jail for drug smuggling, forgery and fraud – was arrested on suspicion of assisting the enemy in a time of war, spying against the State of Israel, and providing intelligence to the enemy.

An indictment was filed in the Jerusalem District Prosecutor’s Office on June 15 and approved by the attorney-general and the state attorney.

Segev is suspected of providing his Iranian handlers with intelligence related to Israel’s energy industry, security sites, buildings and officials in Israeli political and security bodies, and more.

According to the Shin Bet, Segev arrived for a visit in May to Equatorial Guinea, where he was refused entry to the country due to his criminal past.

Security authorities had gathered intelligence indicating that Segev was maintaining contacts with Iranian intelligence and assisting them in their activities against the State of Israel. The Israel Police subsequently requested his extradition to Israel, where he was immediately arrested upon his arrival for questioning by the Shin Bet.

The investigation by the Shin Bet and the Israel Police found that Segev was recruited and acted as an agent on behalf of Iranian intelligence. In 2012, Segev first met with elements of the Iranian Embassy in Nigeria, knowing they were from Iranian intelligence, and later traveled twice to Iran to meet with his handlers.

The investigation also found that Segev, who received a secret communications system to encrypt messages between him and his Iranian handlers, met with his handlers around the world, in hotels and apartments used for clandestine Iranian activity.

In order to meet the tasks he received from his handlers, Segev maintained ties with Israeli citizens who are related to Israel’s security and foreign relations. According to the Shin Bet, Segev tried to connect some of the Israeli citizens to Iranian intelligence, all the while trying to fool them and present the Iranian as innocent businessmen.

It's horrific, alright, and not even the first time he was charged with serious felonies. As the following states:

Segev was born in Israel in 1956 and served as a military pilot in the Israeli Air Force in the 1970s, reaching the rank of captain. Following his service, he studied medicine at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev and became a medical doctor.

He was elected to the Knesset in 1992 as part of the now-defunct, hawkish opposition Tzomet Party and was lured to join Yitzhak Rabin’s government as energy minister in 1994 before he quit politics.

He was arrested and convicted for drug smuggling and credit card fraud in 2005 after attempting to smuggle 32,000 ecstasy (MDMA) tablets from the Netherlands into Israel. He was released in 2007 after serving two years of a five-year sentence. Segev, who said he thought the tablets were M&Ms, moved to Nigeria where he practiced medicine after his license was revoked in Israel.

It's regrettable he didn't serve enough time. One of the reasons he left politics was because his betrayal of the Tzomet party and public by supporting the Oslo accords only ensured nobody wanted to vote for the splinter party he formed with 2 other traitors. That he'd turn to serious crimes later on only proves he never learned any lessons, and probably felt vindictive for being rejected for his prior offenses. Now, it's to be hoped he'll face more convincing justice for aiding the enemy and the Religion of Peace, and endangering the country ever further. He should practically be locked away with the very adherents of Islam he was collaborating with. A most truly repellent man Segev is indeed. If there was an archive established for research on evil people, he could make a great candidate for inclusion in it.

Gaza Muslims manufacture 5000 kite bombs

The arson-style attacks perpetrated by the Islamofascists in Gaza with kites have become horrific, and lately, as many as 5000 were prepared for terrorizing the Jewish neighborhoods in the area (via Pamela Geller):

The IDF struck a target in the southern Gaza Strip on Thursday, two hours after it fired warning shots in the same area toward Palestinians who were preparing airborne incendiary devices near the Bureij refugee camp.

“The IDF struck an infrastructure near the area where a squad had previously been preparing Molotov cocktails in the southern Gaza Strip,” the IDF said. “The IDF considers the use of incendiary kites and balloons to be severe, and will act to prevent their use.”

The announcement came shortly after Palestinians reported that a drone launched a missile at people near the border fence who were flying balloons with Molotov cocktails attached, and unconfirmed reports by Israeli media that Palestinians planned to launch 5,000 incendiary balloons and kites toward Israel from the Hamas-run Strip to mark Eid al-Fitr on Thursday night.

Gazans have been protesting along the border with Israel since March 30 as part of what organizers have called the “Great March of Return.” Demonstrators have been throwing stones, Molotov cocktails and rocks toward Israeli troops and flying incendiary kites and balloons into Israeli territory, destroying more than 900 hectares (2,200 acres) of forest, nature reserves and agricultural fields.

On Thursday, several fires broke out near Kibbutz Be’eri and in the Sha’ar HaNegev Regional Council from incendiary kites flown from Gaza. Firefighting teams fought to put out the blazes.

Speaking at a conference at Bar-Ilan University on Thursday, Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman said that while Israel has managed to intercept more than two-thirds of the kites that have been launched toward Israeli territory, “It is impossible to hermetically seal the sky.”

“But we are looking for solutions and I am sure we will find a solution,” he said, adding that “the trick is to strengthen deterrence and prevent the launch itself.”

The only solution is to re-raid and take control of Gaza again, if they don't want any worse horrors to occur. It's going to have to be done, sooner or later.

If the Bataclan sees nothing wrong with running a concert by an Islamofascist, then they should be boycotted

News came up in the past week that an Islamic rapper named Medine was going to perform at the very concert hall in Paris where one of the worst terrorist bloodbaths took place. A man who practically legitimized violence:

A row erupted has over a planned performance by a controversial Muslim rapper at the Bataclan, where 90 people were killed during the November 2015 Paris attacks.

Laurent Wauquiez, leader of the conservative party, The Republicans, said the concert would be “a sacrilege for the victims and a dishonour for France.”

Two lawyers acting for relatives of those killed and injured in the Bataclan massacre said they would launch legal action to get Médine’s planned shows on October 19 and 20 cancelled on the grounds that they pose a threat to public order.

Right-wing MPs started an online petition titled “No to the rapper Médine”, which has garnered more than 9,000 signatures.

Médine, whose full name is Médine Zaouiche, is known for provocative lyrics about Islam and France’s secular tradition. One of his albums is called ‘Jihad’.

However, the 35-year-old rapper, born in the Channel port of Le Havre, has offered his condolences to the families of those killed in the Paris attacks. He says he is against violence and the jihad he is referring to is an individual, internal struggle.

Liberals see him is an artist who wants to shock people into thinking about difficult issues in new ways, but lyrics such as “I put fatwas on the head of jerks” and “crucify the secularists” have shocked and disgusted conservatives.

If he's parroting the kind of propaganda that rose in recent years to claim "jihad" doesn't translate as religiously-motivated war, then he's committed taqqiya (deception), and doesn't deserve an audience.

Bruno Retailleau, a Republican senator, urged the government to employ “the same weapons against this rapper as those used against Dieudonné,” a comedian who has been convicted and fined for hate speech against Jews and condoning terrorism. Several of Dieudonné’s shows were banned under the former government of President François Hollande.

The row comes after survivors and families of victims of the Bataclan attack, which was claimed by Isil, filed a legal complaint on Friday over the failure of soldiers near the venue to intervene. They had been ordered not to enter the Bataclan. The case, which also seeks an explanation about why special forces were not deployed, could prove embarrassing for military commanders and political leaders in office at the time.

On this, here's another report revealing that when Francois Hollande's government was in charge, the tragedy was worse than previously thought:

Survivors and families of victims of the 2015 Bataclan attack in Paris filed a legal complaint Friday over the inaction of some soldiers that night in what could expose egregious failings within France's military and political commands.

The legal complaint was triggered by the testimony of a top military commander who gave evidence during a parliamentary investigation of the actions of police and military on the night of the attacks of November 13, 2015.

General Bruno Le Ray, Military Governor of Paris, defended the order that prevented eight soldiers located near the Bataclan concert hall from intervening in the attack because he thought “it unthinkable to put soldiers at risk just hoping, hypothetically, to save other lives”, Samia Maktouf, a Paris lawyer for the survivors and victims’ families, told FRANCE 24.

She said the soldiers were told not to use their weapons or even administer first aid to the many victims at the music venue during the two-hour siege by jihadists affiliated to the Islamic State (IS) group.

This is utterly jaw-dropping in the complete contempt that was displayed for defenseless human life. It even explains why police failed to act when Sarah Halimi was murdered. A lot of politicians and authoritarians alike are going to have to be held accountable, and should be thrown in prison, preferably alongside the same tyrants they allowed to get away with the barbarism.

Everyone concerned should give their support to the families of the victims of the horror at the Bataclan. And if the managers of the concert hall are that apathetic and tolerant of the very ideologies that led to the bloodbath, the French public should vote with their wallets and boycott the Bataclan. It's stunning how uncaring the management of the very location where the massacre took place could be, rejecting the Eagles of Death Metal band members who spoke out, yet fully accepting even scum like Sting who kowtow to Islamofascism out of delusions. Even the Bataclan's managers may have to be called in to testify what they knew behind the scenes.

3 quarters in France say the country couldn't cope with another illegal immigration wave

It looks like a good majority in France may be waking up to reality:

A large majority of voters across every age bracket and region in France believe that the nation’s economy could not cope with a further influx of third world migrants, according to a YouGov survey.

A representative sample of more than 1,000 people were polled on the topic by Capital magazine after the president of the executive council of Corsica, Gilles Simeoni, offered to open the French island’s port to a migrant-packed NGO boat earlier this week after it was turned away by Italy.

While Corsica’s separatist Assembly members were keen to welcome the 629 mostly sub-Saharan migrants who would then be passed on to the mainland, citing the “universal values of Europe”, the idea was significantly less appealing to people in mainland France.

A total of 72 per cent of people polled rejected the notion that France could absorb another wave of migration from third world nations, with the figure rising to a peak of 77 per cent amongst respondents aged 55 and over.

This sentiment was “widely shared across all regions and all age groups”, with even the education levels of those polled making little difference to the results, according to the business and economics magazine.

The belief that France would not be able to integrate a new migrant influx was most widely held amongst people without a university degree (82 per cent), but also enjoyed strong support from bachelor degree-holders (78 per cent) and respondents with graduate degrees (62 per cent).

So even those with the best degrees of education are realists on the issue. But it should also be clear that they can't cope with having Islam around either, and a way has to be found to put a stop to the spread of Islam within the country as well. That's the main cause of the crisis in this case, and that's why it can't be overlooked.

Geert Wilders is organizing a Mohammed cartoon exhibition at the Netherlands parliament:

UN rejects US proposal to condemn Hamas

Once again, the UN sides with the evil they practically allowed into their ranks:

The United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) Wednesday rejected a US motion against Hamas, but affirmed a Palestinian-led initiative against Israel that condemned the Jewish state for the actions it took to prevent thousands of Gazans from overrunning its border fence.

The UNGA also criticized Israel’s counter-terror and policing actions against Palestinians in Judea, Samaria and Jerusalem.

The American amendment condemning Hamas was struck down, even though it had a slim majority, 62-58, and 42 abstentions.

UNGA President Miroslav Lajčák of Slovakia ruled that a two-thirds majority was needed for an amendment to be added to a draft resolution.

Haley appealed his decision, which led the session to be adjourned for several minutes. The appeal was rejected.

“Today the UN made the morally bankrupt judgment that the recent Gaza violence is all Israel’s fault. It is no wonder that no one takes the UN seriously as a force for Middle East peace,” Haley said.

But of course, it's nothing new at all. When you have so many racists and Islamofascists already littering their auditorium, it only figures it'd all come to this. What we need now is a resolution condemning the UN for their own evil.

Hostage-holding jihadist in Paris is being treated as just "mentally ill"

The jihadist in Paris who took hostages has been captured and the hostages saved, but the authorities are again resorting to the excuse of acting like they're just mentally ill:

A man who took two people hostage in central Paris was transferred to a psychiatric ward Wednesday, a day after the four-hour standoff in which he doused a woman in petrol and held a knife to her throat.

The Moroccan-born 26-year-old was arrested on Tuesday evening after the hostage-taking at the offices of a company in a bustling area of the central 10th arrondissement known for its bars and restaurants.

Police stormed the building and arrested the man at around 8.00 pm after attempting to negotiate with him.

Sources close to the investigation said he had sprayed a woman with petrol and was holding a knife to her throat, while he had handcuffed the other male hostage.

Police managed to free the woman and neither hostage was injured.

A police source said investigators believed the hostage-taker may have been “mentally unstable” and that his motivations remained unclear.

It's clear they're avoiding the hard issues involved, in effect insulting the innocents who endured at the hands of the monster. There should be an outcry against this. They're once again doing a terrible disfavor to everyone.

Hostage crisis in Paris

An Islamofascist who demanded to speak to the Iranian embassy took hostages in a Paris neighborhood:

A man, who has claimed to be armed with both a firearm and a bomb, has taken several people hostage on the rue des Petites-Écuries in the 10th arrondissement of Paris demanding to speak with the Iranian embassy.

Police have arrived on the scene and the man is believed to be holding three people hostage including a pregnant woman and has told police that one of the hostages has been seriously injured. The entire neighbourhood has been put under lockdown by police, French radio broadcaster France Bleu reports.

One of the hostages has been released so far, but the danger's still around. If Emmanuel Macron's smart, he'll start concentrating on these matters which are a very serious concern, and not waste time on foreign affairs at France's expense. This is truly sick.

Muslim stabs 18-year-old woman in Afula

Another case of jihadism occurred in Afula, and the attacker was thankfully captured:

A young woman was stabbed and badly injured Monday afternoon in the northern Israeli city of Afula.

According to Magen David Adom, EMTs and paramedics evacuated the 18-year-old victim to Haemek hospital in moderate to severe condition with stab wounds to her upper body, after she managed to walk a few steps and collapsed next to an Aroma coffee shop.

Police who were dispatched to the scene said they identified a suspect who began to flee and refused to stop, after which they fired at his legs and arrested him.

A knife was found in his possession.

The stabber has been identified as a Palestinian man in his 20s from the West Bank city of Jenin who was in Israel illegally, police said. Police are investigating possible motives, and have not ruled out terrorism.

The alertness of the citizens who swiftly reported the incident enabled police to quickly send officers from the Special Patrol Unit to the scene, they said.

The woman is very lucky she's survived the attack. But police are doing a disfavor if they won't fully acknowledge that what the filthy monster did to her was terrorism, no matter how it's put in the article.

Former minister says rabbinate is encouraging intermarriage by opposing conversion reform

A former Israeli government minister may be making some sense:

Former Justice Minister Moshe Nissim presented a draft of a new conversion law on Sunday, while accusing the chief rabbinate and others of encouraging intermarriage in Israel by refusing to deal with the large number of immigrants from the former Soviet Union or their descendants who are not Jewish according to Jewish law.

Nissim issued a fierce broadside against chief rabbis Yitzhak Yosef and David Lau, who have already denounced the bill. Nissim insisted that his proposal allows for conversion is strictly in accordance with Orthodox Jewish law, but that it admits a less-severe attitude than has hitherto been reflected in the current conversion authority.

Yosef and Lau convened a meeting in the Chief Rabbinate on Sunday with numerous rabbis, including some senior rabbis from the conservative wing of the national religious community to declare their opposition since the bill would make the new conversion authority independent of the Chief Rabbinate.

It would nevertheless be run by Orthodox rabbinical judges with ordination from the Chief Rabbinate.

I do know that converts should not have to apply for citizenship under the Law of Return, if that's what it takes to make clear we don't approve of their overly stringent positions. And that the rabbinate, as it stands now, should be ashamed of themselves for complicating everything.

Iran pays money to families of Gaza rioters

Proof that Iran's behind a lot of the Hamas activity in Gaza:

Families of Gaza Arabs killed during border riots received $500 each from Iran, Israel's Reshet Bet reported.

According to the report, the money was distributed by Hamas at a Ramadan "break fast" meal held Thursday night in honor of the "martyrs'" families.

In other words, they're being paid sacrifice human life for the sake of jihadism. The report also notes:

Last week, a 22-year-old female medic was killed during the riots. Initial reports claimed she was innocent and unfairly targeted by Israel, but later investigations showed she was at the scene in order to serve as a "human shield" for the terrorists, and had thrown a grenade at IDF soldiers.

And one could say she was turned into a sacrifice for the sake of blood libel propaganda. Utterly repulsive.

Over 400 radical Islamofascists will be released from French prisons in 2019, unless something can be done to stop it

Breitbart London says the dangers are continuing in France:

France will release some 450 radical Islamic extremists from prison by the end of next year including 50 considered terror threats.

“We have about 500 detainees who are radicalised as Islamist terrorists, out of those 500 there will be about 20 of them coming out this year, and then about 30 next year,” France’s Minister of Justice Nicole Belloubet confirmed.

The minister added that around 30 per cent of the current radicalised prison population, some 450 people, were also set to be put back on the streets by the end of next year, Le Figaro reports.

This should not be allowed to happen. If the terrorists have been allowed to continue practicing the Religion of Peace in prison, the chances are high they could return to evil soon after. What the authorities could at least do is banish them from the country, and if they don't, they cannot be shocked if they'll repeat their offenses. The political opposition had better start becoming vocal about this.

Ultra-Orthodox camp counselor accused of vile sex abuse

Here's another story, not unlike the Malka Leifer case, where a Haredi woman's been accused of sexual abuse of a student:

When Leah Sokolovsky was 15, she spent many Friday nights sleeping over at the home of the 20-year-old assistant head counselor of her ultra-Orthodox summer camp.

The two had not been particularly close at camp. But during the school year that followed, the counselor, an ultra-Orthodox woman named Gittie Sheinkopf, cultivated Sokolovsky. Sokolovsky says Sheinkopf was nice to her and made her feel special. She began inviting her to sleep over for the Sabbath.

Within a few months, Sokolovsky says, Sheinkopf began molesting her. It went on for over a year.

Eight years later, Sokolovsky decided she needed an apology.

Sokolovsky tried calling Sheinkopf. Sheinkopf denied everything. Sokolovsky tried taking her to rabbinical court. Sheinkopf didn’t show up.

In the end, Sokolovsky turned to YouTube, posting a video in which she alleged repeated sexual and emotional abuse.

“The first time she penetrated me I felt like I was dying from pain,” Sokolovsky says through tears. “It was the most traumatic thing. I had nobody to tell this to.”

The video, posted in late May, went viral in Orthodox Jewish circles. It was an extraordinarily rare thing: A young woman speaking publicly about alleged sexual abuse in the Orthodox community, and not only naming her alleged abuser, but explaining how the dynamics of the Orthodox community forced her to be quiet for so long.

In the days since she posted the video, Sokolovsky, who goes by Leah but whose given name is Dorina, has been attacked in the WhatsApp groups that serve as a digital public square for ultra-Orthodox Jews. In voice messages, she was called a liar, jealous, and even accused of blackmail. In response, Sokolovsky filed a defamation suit in a Brooklyn court on June 4 against a WhatsApp user named Yanky Sofer, whose voice messages she alleges were circulated widely in Orthodox circles.

In the meantime, the video, and a follow-up question-and-answer video posted days later, have racked up tens of thousands of views on YouTube. Sokolovsky’s story not only raises the specter of sexual abuse in the Orthodox community, but also the particular vulnerability of young so-called baalei tshuva; non-religious Jews who seek to live a frum, or observant, lifestyle.

If she chose it herself, it was a huge mistake. Isolationist lifestyles of that sort only risk leading to the mindsets that victimize many youngsters in cloistered communities. I hope the counselor is prosecuted for the criminal offense she committed, and that's when the lady will finally receive the justice she's owed.

Italy's new prime minister may be the sign of good Europe needs

Italy's lucky they now have a new populist prime minister running the country, Matteo Salvini, and he's willing to deport illegal migrants from north Africa back to where they belong, and has defended local police in a case involving the interlopers:

Italy’s populist deputy Prime Minister has rallied to the defence of police officers who were hospitalised by a migrant gang during an illegal goods seizure.

One Carabiniere officer received a broken nose and the other chest injuries as they retrieved counterfeit goods, including 160 fake designer bags, and were attacked by a group of Senegalese migrant street vendors.

Footage of the attack shocked Italy as it spread on social media, and highlighted worries that the country is overwhelmed by the number of illegal migrants trapped there thanks to European Union (EU) rules.

The attack occurred near the famous Piazza dei Miracoli, in Pisa, Tuscany, according to Corriere Della Sera.

After the officers were taken to the hospital, disturbances reportedly continued, with some of the Senegalese traders trying to calm down their more violent and disruptive counterparts.

Matteo Salvini, leader of the populist co-governing Lega party, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of the Interior, shared footage of the attack on Facebook, writing “sellers attack the carabinieri” and promising “solidarity and best wishes for a good recovery”.

He added that more “expulsions for illegal immigrants and restoring a climate of legality to our cities is my goal”.

They'd better work fast, and not allow any corrupt justices and other politicians to get in the way. In fact, they'd do well to modify the country's legal system too, so that "lawfarers" can't cause trouble for critics of Islam.

Macron blames Trump for the Hamas violence

Caroline Glick tells how French president Emmanuel Macron is endangering the region - and come to think of it, his own country - by validating Hamas:

Macron’s skillful diplomacy and fine judgment was on display once again on Tuesday. Standing next to visiting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Macron decided that the best way to prove his importance was by attacking Trump.

This time Macron didn’t do it by physically assaulting him on live TV. Instead, Macron chose to blame Trump for the lethal consequences of Hamas’s three-month-old terror operation against Israel along the Gaza-Israel border.

Some 110 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces deployed along Israel’s border with Gaza to protect Israel from Hamas penetration and terror. Hamas has acknowledged that at least half of the fatalities were its terrorists.

In the framework of this ongoing operation, Hamas buses hundreds of non-combatants to the border to serve as human cannon fodder. Hamas terrorists, interspersed among the crowds, use civilian cover to launch various types of assaults against Israel. These assaults have included border infiltration, mortar and rocket attacks, Molotov cocktails, and destruction of sections of the border fence.

Over the past week, the center of Hamas’s efforts against Israel moved to environmental terrorism. Hamas terrorists have launched hundreds of kites carrying Molotov cocktails and other incendiary devices across the border. Thousands of acres of farmland and nature reserves have been scorched.

Standing next to Netanyahu on Tuesday, Macron ignored all of that. He alleged that Hamas’s violent assault against Israel is a consequence of Trump’s decision to move the U.S. Embassy in Israel to Israel’s capital city, Jerusalem, on May 14. Macron claimed that the embassy move provoked violence and did not promote peace.

In his words, “If this leads to people dying it’s not a celebration.”

*Ahem* If the Hamas encourages/pressures anybody to commit violence in the name of racism and evil, that's what should not be celebrated. Yet this man now crosses the line with deplorable statements against the POTUS, and it goes without saying that not only are Macron's statements offensive, but he also owes Trump an apology.

Macron’s statement was not an isolated attack. Speaking at a conference in St. Petersburg on May 25, he called the embassy move “an error,” and said that the U.S. could no longer be considered an honest mediator in future negotiations between Israel and the Palestinians.

Last week, France voted in favor of a Kuwaiti-sponsored draft resolution at the UN Security Council which called for UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres to produce a written report within 60 days on ways to ensure “the safety, protection and well-being of the Palestinian civilian population under Israeli occupation.”

That draft resolution failed to mention Hamas by name or note that Israel removed its military from Gaza 12 years ago. It failed to mention that Hamas has controlled all aspects of life in Gaza since 2007. After ignoring basic realities of life in Gaza, the draft resolution instructed the Secretary General to include recommendations about “an international protection mechanism” for the Palestinians against Israel in his written report.

U.S. Ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley, who vetoed the resolution, called it “grossly one-sided and morally bankrupt.”

I think Macron's got it all backwards. A government like his cannot be considered reliable, and now he may have forced Jewish residents of France to conclude they'll have to continue leaving the country while Islamofascists continue to endanger the rest of the population. He should be ashamed of himself, and the time has come to call him out on how incredibly dangerous his policies are. The anti-American approach politicians like him have been going by has got to stop. And again, Macron should apologize to Trump.

PLO leads to cancellation of a soccer match with Argentina

A terrible embarrassment has occurred as an Argentinian soccer team cancelled a game in Israel, caving to threats from jihadists:

The Israeli embassy in Argentina officially announced on Tuesday night that the friendly match scheduled for this Saturday between the national soccer teams of Argentina and Israel has been cancelled.

"The threats and provocations against Lionel Messi, which logically raised fears against holding the game, are not foreign to the daily lives of the Israeli population, whose athletes have often been the target of violence and terror attacks," the embassy said in a series of tweets.

Reports in Argentina on Tuesday night said the match was cancelled earlier following Palestinian Arab pressure on the Argentine team not to play in Jerusalem.

Culture and Sports Minister Miri Regev (Likud) later spoke with the organizer of the friendly [match].

Regev’s office said in a statement following the meeting that she had been told that ever since the Argentine national team announced it would play in Israel, various terrorist organizations have been sending messages and threats to the team’s players and their families, with explicit threats to harm their lives and their family's lives. Among other things, the players were sent videos and pictures of children's bodies.

Minister Regev said, "I hope that Argentina's players will not succumb to the terror threats and to the BDS organizations."

If they have, they've succumbed to utter cowardice in an era when courage is needed. This is another offense the PLO and their minions have committed on their part, for which they have to be condemned, and more sanctions should be imposed upon them.

Bill Cosby supports Louis Farrakhan

Bill Cosby's already been convicted on 3 counts of sexual assault, and is now awaiting his official sentencing while under house arrest. But look what he had posted on his Twitter page nearly a week ago:

He's giving his support to the overlord of the Nation of Islam? The same man who even defended Mike Tyson after he raped Desiree Washington in the early 90s? Well...I think this says pretty much all we need to know about Cosby's mindset, where he stands and where he's going. In the documentary review I linked to, it says the following:

Kopple gives Tyson credit for his talent and skill as a boxer and provides a context for the violence in his life, but she doesn’t cut him any slack for his rape of beauty contestant Desiree Washington in Indianapolis in 1991. The director also provides the pop-cultural framework for Tyson’s conviction and the six-year sentence he’s now serving, including a chilling clip from a rally in support of Tyson in which Louis Farrakhan defends the boxer by hectoring the women in his audience. ”How many times, sisters,” he shouts, ”have you said ‘No’ and you meant ‘Yes’?”

What Farrakhan did was - and still is - sick and repellent, just as Cosby's backing for Farrakhan is now. Cosby said at least a few more items that backfired big time, and this would have to be the capping of the sewage cover for his undeserved career. He's really done it this time, and only ensure a lot less people will care to check out his past resume. Cosby's sentencing can't come soon enough, and among the things he'll have to be remembered for besides his rape crimes themselves, it'll have to include his support for apologists of the same.

The Hamas terror balloons

Deborah Danan has news about the fuel-laced balloons the Hamas is using to set fire to Israeli farm crop fields, a disgusting sequel to their kites:

Whatever will they come up with next? Gazan rioters have added a creative new weapon to their arsenal. Instead of attack kites, young Palestinians have adopted another child’s toy to spread fires on Israeli soil: helium balloons.

The idea is much the same as the terror kites. Load the balloons with burning petrol and fly them over the border with Israel in hope that the breeze will help them along the way to starting a fire that will destroy acres of farmland, forestry, nature reserves and, with any luck, human lives situated around the border area.

[...] So far no one has been harmed as a result of the fires but they have racked up millions of shekels in damages to local farmers with more than 3,000 acres of wheat destroyed. Farmers from the Gaza border communities made the decision to move up the harvest date to avoid more damage to the wheat caused by the kites.

New blazes happen every day.

There are drones being launched to stop these baloons/kites. But this is still a reason why the army will have to raid Gaza as soon as possible to put a stop to it before real disaster occurs.

Miss America pageant falls victim to social justice propaganda

In another example of the decline of entertainment in America, the current heads of the Miss America beauty pageant have announced they're no longer going to feature the swimsuit portions of the past:

The Miss America Organization has announced an end to the swimsuit portion of its competition, and will no longer judge contestants specifically on their outward appearance.

[...] Carlson, the latest head of the pageant’s board of directors, added that many contestants expressed criticism of the swimsuit and evening gown portion of the pageant in this day of a heightened awareness of sexual harassment.

Carlson, who filed a sexual harassment suit against Fox News Chairman Roger Ailes precipitating his departure from the network, added that some contestants told pageant officials, “We don’t want to be out there in high heels and swimsuits,” in this era of #MeToo awareness.

I wouldn't be shocked if her claim was definitely exaggerated, and not all the contestants she allegedly speaks of lack confidence. Especially considering:

Like many institutions, the pageant has not been free of controversy. Last year outrage erupted when email communications were leaked showing some pageant officials disparaging contestants for their appearance and sexual choices. The resulting scandal caused the pageant to clean house among its upper leadership. The shake-up brought Carlson and three other former Miss Americas to lead the organization, including Laura Kaeppeler Fleiss (2012), Heather French Henry (2000) and Kate Shindle (1998).

So in other words, the previous heads were replaced in name only! What the current ones are doing is punishing the contestants instead of any possible harassers/offenders. Besides, if this is a beauty contest, then of course outward appearance also counts. What Carlson's doing is utterly laughable, and only awards the previous offenders who disparaged other contestants.

The saddest thing in the wake of the Weinstein scandal is that, instead of bringing more freedom to women, it's brought less freedom, as this development at the Miss America pageant demonstrates. But it does tell that anyone concerned should do whatever's necessary to ensure the Miss USA and Miss Teen USA pageants don't fall victim to political correctness as the Miss America contest has. I think chances are this year's ratings for the program are going to be pretty low. It could be Star Trek: The Next Generation predicted that television's popularity wouldn't last, recalling an episode where Brent Spiner as Data spoke of this occurring after 2040. For all we know, in real life, it could happen even earlier.

Macron's not combatting antisemitism convincingly if he approves of condemning Israel at the UN

First of all, here's a disturbing report of a shop manager who took out Israeli dates after a Muslim angrily complained (via Breitbart):

A manager at a local branch of a French supermarket chain was filmed last week removing Israeli dates from a store shelf after a Muslim customer shouted that they were offensive.

The dates were situated on a stall advertising food for the Muslim Ramadan month.

The incident took place in a branch of the Carrefour chain, in the town of Chambourcy west of Paris.

In a video posted online by activists advocating the boycott of Israel, the customer can be heard shouting “These products are an insult to Muslims.” [...]

Israel’s embassy in Paris told the Ynet news site “The embassy closely follows and instances of boycott activity in France and holds continuous and intensice dialogue with businesses and law enforcement as well as the French government to stamp out the phenomennon, which is forbidden by French law.”

The shop owner should decidedly be fined for cowardice.

But like Nicholas Sarkozy and Francois Hollande before him, Macron's not helping matters if he allows votes against Israel at the UN's vile councils:

Israeli deputy minister Michael Oren on Saturday lambasted France for supporting an “anti-Semitic resolution” at the UN Security Council that condemned Israeli actions during violent riots on the border last month.

Oren’s comments prompted an angry response from French Ambassador to Israel Hélène Le Gal, who charged Oren with “insulting France.”

Uh uh. That's not what he did. He condemned the government, and here's his exact words:

Praise for the U.S. for vetoing Security Council resolution on Gaza that didn’t mention Hamas and condemned the IDF for defending Israel. Shame on France for supporting it. French government cannot say it’s against anti-Semitism and vote for this anti-Semitic resolution.

Yes, he more or less slammed the government, and they're the ones insulting France, by failing to combat Islam and regard it as what it truly is, an evil ideology. I'd say Le Gal owes her own country as much an apology as it does Israel. Of course, if I'm correct, they're not the only ones who supported the resolution. There's also Sweden.

All that aside, Macron cannot say he's against anti-semitism if he continues to support one-sided resolutions against Israel. This is exactly the grave error he and his predecessors like Sarkozy and Hollande made, otherwise failing to consider that hostility to a country of origin is as much part and parcel of racism as acts of violence in their own country against specific groups. If this is how they're going to act, then they've thrown away all ability to convince they're really against anti-semitism.

High court is once again trying to sabotage Israeli democracy

The Israeli high court of justice could end up trying to undo a law passed to prevent demolition of Israeli neighborhoods in Judea/Samaria for the sake of Islamists and their sympathizers:

Israel’s High Court began a hearing Sunday on the Judea and Samaria Settlement Regulation Law which they had previous frozen, to determine whether it should be upheld or declared illegal.

The law, passed in February 2017, aimed to legalize retroactively up to 4,000 housing units that were built on what was claimed to be private Palestinian land in what is known as Area C (under full Israeli control) of Judea and Samaria.

This would prevent what has been the common practice of the court when Palestinians or left-wing organizations claim the settlements were built illegally on Palestinian property and petition for the destruction of the Israeli homes, even though the Jewish owners had been assured by government ministries and institutions that they had a right to be there.

The Regulations Law states that the Palestinian landowners would continue to own the property but their usage would be expropriated by the State. In return, they would be compensated at a rate of 125% of the worth of the property or receive alternative plots in a different location.

The Jews who built their homes “in good faith or at the state’s instruction” would be allowed to continue living there.

In order for the Palestinians to receive payment however, they would first have to prove their ownership of the land. This might be quite an obstacle to many – and it is an issue that the High Court has never dealt with.

Until now, property disputes in Judea and Samaria are not first adjudicated in lower courts, where plaintiffs have to prove the property is theirs. The Justice Minister is trying to change this situation as well by transferring these kinds of disputes to administrative courts.

Nine judges are hearing the case, which, in a very unusual twist, is not being defended by the government’s own attorney-general, Avichai Mandelblit, who opposes the law as being “unconstitutional.”

Wow, so the attorney-general is also a bad lot. This decidedly calls for a clear protest and objection to how the court is acting, along with panning Mandelblit's own cowardice. He does not deserve the job if he cannot show the courage to uphold Israel's history and civil rights.
