World cannot continue to ignore what led to 9-11-2001 and 10-7-2023

Moshe Dann discusses the tragedy of September 11, 2001 in the USA, and October 7, 2023 in Israel:
The attack on the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001 is embedded in America’s consciousness as a nation. Jews in Israel and around the world share the pain of that event as we celebrate Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year on that date this year. We, too, suffered a national disaster when Hamas terrorists attacked Israeli communities on October 7, 2023.

Both events were perpetrated by Muslim terrorists with similar ideologies; both left deep scars. Both were wake-up calls that initiated wars, changed perspectives, and engaged new strategies.

The world’s reaction to these events, however, has been strikingly different. Expressions of outrage over 9/11 and support for America’s response are contrasted by support for Hamas and Islamist terrorist organizations, while condemning Israel for defending itself.

Like the war against Al Qaeda, the war against Hamas and its supporters is not over. Although largely defeated, they remain active, dangerous and determined.

Everyone who is interested knows what happened on 9/11. Many people have written about it and have produced documentaries about it, but too few have asked what the attack means, its significance, and its connection to Islamism. Prof Efriam Karsh wrote about this in his book, "Islamic Imperialism: a history", which explains the strategy of Islamist terrorist organizations.

Connecting 9/11 to other Islamic-based suicidal attacks, such as the attack on the World Trade Center in 1993, and attacks on civilians and civilian targets is essential. It’s what the Muslim Brotherhood’s plan of “Civilizational Jihad" means.

Most people know, despite conspiracy theories being spread on social media, that the attack on 9/11 was carried out by a group of mainly Saudi terrorists who were connected to Al Qaeda, a terrorist organization. These Al Qaeda terrorists were funded and assisted by the Saudi government and Muslim “charities," and by Saudis living in California and other states. Several Saudi terrorists who carried out the attack were enrolled in flight schools and training programs in the US where they were learning how to hijack and fly airplanes to use them as weapons of mass destruction.

Why were they supported by the Saudi government and Muslim donors
?
Even today, Saudi Arabia can't be trusted in virtually every way, shape and form, and 911 Families, in example, are rightfully demanding answers on the issues. The subject of Islam is something that also needs to be pondered when discussing tragedies like the 2015 jihadist attacks in France at the Bataclan, and everything must be done to demand answers there too.

Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the issues and made a point that there can't be any "buts":
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Friday marked 25 years since the September 11 attacks, remembering the victims and those who risked their lives to save others and drawing a parallel between the attacks and the October 7 massacre in Israel.

“25 years ago, thousands of innocent people went to work in the World Trade Center in New York. They never came home,"
Netanyahu said.

“For those who know such loss, it never leaves you. America remembers them. Israel remembers them."

Netanyahu paid tribute to the emergency personnel and others who acted during the attacks.

“We remember the firefighters who ran up the stairs while everyone else was running down. We remember the police officers, the first responders, the passengers who bravely fought back on the hijacked planes, and we remember the evil that murdered them."

“On September 11th, America was hit by pure evil. On October 7th, Israel was hit by it again,"
the Prime Minister stated.

Netanyahu rejected calls to understand the motivations or grievances of terrorists, saying, “There is no context for burning families alive. There is no grievance that justifies murdering innocents deliberately."

“There is no ‘yes, but’ when it comes to terrorism,"
he added.

The Prime Minister also pointed to chants of “Death to America, death to Israel," saying that the hostility towards the two countries stems from the same source.

“They hate both of us for the same reason, because America and Israel stand for freedom, for democracy, for civilization. For life."
More precisely, because the Religion of Peace dictates it. And even Netanyahu's going to have to consider the time's come to address the challenging issues more clearly.

Update: there was a special Memorial event using drones to recreate the WTC with light beams in NYC 2 nights before:
A drone show recreated the Twin Towers in light over New York Harbor on Wednesday ahead of the 25th anniversary of the September 11, 2001, al-Qaeda terror attack.

The show featured 2,977 drones — one for each victim killed when hijackers crashed planes into the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and rural southwestern Pennsylvania.

It was organized by families of 9/11 victims and New York Fire Department members who responded to the attack at the World Trade Center, where 2,753 civilians, firefighters and law enforcement officers were killed.
An important form of Memorial, to be sure. But will the awful Zohran Mamdani show up at the 911 Memorial today? If he does, it'll be a humiliation.

Gigantic fraud scandal by Somalis across the USA

Over the past week, a huge scandal erupted where it was discovered that Somali Muslims committed financial fraud primarily in Minnesota, and many other individual states as well:
Citizen journalists and civic activists are spotlighting potential Somali fraud of taxpayer funding not just in Minnesota but in multiple states across the country.

Videos from Ohio, Maine, Pennsylvania, Washington State, and others, suggest that clannish Somalis across the country have replicated the alleged taxpayer fraud exposed in Minnesota’s childcare centers by citizen journalist Nick Shirley.
Unshockingly, various MSM "journalists" are spinning this as nothing more than Republicans seeking an opportunity to attack leftists over something. Well it goes without saying this is very serious, and makes clear it's time for these Somali Muslims to return to the country they came from, and not fleece the USA again. And of course, that's just the beginning of what bad things they've done in the USA, since there have been those who committed jihad too, and that's another something that cannot be put up with.

An important legal proposal by Florida's attorney general

The Florida attorney general is proposing legislation to ban sexual predators from being able to take foster custody of children:
Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier proposed legislation on Thursday that would stop sexual predators and abusers from being able to obtain children through surrogacy, adoption, and foster care.

In a video announcement, Uthmeier said he wants to work with the Florida legislature to introduce the “Protecting Kids from Predators Pursuing Parenthood Act,” and pointed to disturbing incidents across the nation of pedophiles obtaining children through legal loopholes and abusing them. He specifically referenced a recent case out of Pennsylvania, where a registered sex offender who had been convicted in 2016 of child sex abuse and possession of child sex abuse images, obtained a child with his husband through gestational surrogacy.
Even Israel needs laws like these, especially after some very horrific incidents occurred involving LGBT extremists. Florida's attorney general is correct that this cannot continue, and children are in serious need of safety with families and legal guardians who actually care about their well being.

Violent extremism in USA committed by leftists

Some vital points and info are provided here about how it's left-wing sources that're responsible for the surge of violence recently in the USA. One of the most notorious of those had to be what occurred at the Pennsynvania governor's residence a few months ago:
An arsonist set Democratic Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro’s home on fire with his family inside on Passover night, ultimately harming no one. Authorities pinned the crime on a man who allegedly admitted to targeting the pro-Israel governor “for Palestine” and had left-wing memorabilia in his own home.
Despite this, Shapiro, regrettably enough, gave a monetary grant to an anti-semitic Muslim mosque. How does that help improve the situation? It doesn't at all. That's got to be one of the worst things about this whole sad affair.

UPenn finally does the right thing

Following a special campaign by Donald Trump, the University of Pennsylvania has revoked all awards given to the male swimmer claiming to be a transsexual whose actual name is William Thomas:
Former collegiate swimmer Riley Gaines thanked President Donald Trump for defending women in sports and for bringing about a deal that resulted in the University of Pennsylvania apologizing for the damage wrought by its decision to allow a trans-identifying male swimmer to compete as a member of its women’s team.

The agreement also saw Lia (formerly William) Thomas stripped of medals and the records returned to the women who had rightfully earned them — including Gaines, who famously tied with Thomas for fifth place in the 200 freestyle at the 2022 NCAA Championships.

“UPenn has agreed to right its wrongs, restore records to the rightful female athletes, and issue an apology to the women impacted by the man they allowed to compete as a woman. Are pigs flying? God bless @realDonaldTrump,” Gaines wrote in a post on X.
A vital lesson to be learned from this scandal is that sexism and misogyny are still very much entrenched in many businesses and establishments, all at the fairer sex's expense, and this kowtowing to "protected classes" who're male is but another example of how prevalent gender bigotry still is. It's thankful Trump saw justice would be provided to the women who were wronged, but much work is still doubtless needed to ensure something this terrible won't happen again. Let's hope there's people who're willing to be vigilant and be on the alert for if and when such monstrosities still occur.

Self-hating Jews have become a serious issue

In Pennsylvania, a self-hating Jew collaborated with a Hamas supporter, vandalizing a synagogue, and unversity indoctrination apparently was a culprit:
Joe Biden was visiting Pittsburgh while nearby JVP protesters demanded a ‘ceasefire’ that would save Hamas. One of the protesters was Talya Lubit, a recent college graduate, who told the media, “We’ve been begging and pleading for a ceasefire for six months now.”

Three months later, Lubit, who had been active in anti-Israel rallies and petitions, vandalized a synagogue. Arrested alongside her was Mohamad: a self-described “Hamas operative”.

“I can literally feel myself starting to see Jews as my enemies,”
Lubit messaged Mohamad.

The story of Mohamad Hamad and Talya Adira Lubit, a Hamas supporter who practiced building bombs and an anti-Israel leftist who had grown up in the Jewish community, going after a synagogue is also the larger story of the Jewish leftist romance with Islamic terrorism.

Talya Lubit, who came from a traditional pro-Israel Jewish home, had decided to pursue Middle East Studies at a college that specialized in social justice where Israeli hummus had been banned by the Student Senate and where an encampment had been set up for Gaza.

Despite being raised in a conservative Jewish household, Talya abandoned Judaism, adopted veganism and became an animal rights activist. “Sometimes it’s as if we forget that we are animals and we kind of set ourselves above as if we are this higher creature.”

As a Middle East Studies student, Talya became obsessed with Arab Islamic culture. A profile that appears to be hers claimed that she found “Arabic and many aspects of Middle Eastern culture” to be “incredibly beautiful.” Somewhere along the way, Talya met Mohamad.

Mohamad Hamad, according to the indictment, “referred to himself as a ‘Hamas operative,’ sent a picture of himself wearing a headband with the Hamas logo to another associate, and exchanged messages with another individual regarding building an explosive device, including a video of a test detonation.”

Even while Hamad was promoting an Islamic terrorist group, he was also working on the maintenance squad for the Pennsylvania Air National Guard’s 171st Air Refueling Wing until he was “barred from the facility in mid-September” for unknown reasons.

Together, Talya and Mohamad bonded over messages “during which they planned their vandalism activities and specifically discussed selecting Jewish targets.”
Well it's clear that parents have to be careful not to send their children to universities where they can be indoctrinated this badly, and as has been noted by some, it's entirely possible to do studies outside the framework of a university altogether. Why can't even Israeli descendants understand that?

Simultaneously, if the parents raised their daughter to believe in petty idiocies like "dressing modestly", that too was a grave mistake, even if she went on to embrace a culture that's even worse in that regard, what with the way they force wearing burkas/niqabs, along with advocating jihadism. I guess what must've happened is that she didn't think Judaism went far enough in terms of such "customs", which early Judaism was far from advocating. In the meantime, let's hope somebody will insist she see a psychologist who can convince her to avoid Islam and its advocates.

Pennsylvania could face another fraudulent election

According to the following news (via Geller Report), the Democrat-run election board in Pennsylvania could end up causing delays to election results again, which could, as in 2020, be an excuse for election fraud:
Pennsylvania Secretary of State Al Schmidt told reporters to expect several days to process and count the ballots again this year. [...]

For the record, Al Schmidt is a Trump-hating RINO. He was chosen as Secretary of State by Democrat Governor Josh Shapiro.
So they're also making use of a Never-Trumper to serve their horrendous purpose. This cannot be allowed to go unanswered. Trump was robbed of a victory 4 years ago that since led to some alarming disasters worldwide. This terrible history cannot be allowed to repeat itself.

Anti-Israel protestors in Philadelphia block path of LGBTQ parade

Two equally awful groups who practically deserve each other crossed paths this week in my native city (via Breitbart):
Hundreds of anti-Israel protesters crashed a gay pride parade in Philadelphia on Sunday, bringing the celebratory march to a halt.

Hundreds of LGBTQ+ revelers were met by the political protesters chanting the anti-Israel slogan, “Palestine will live forever! From the sea to the river!” at the end of the parade route in the City of Brotherly Love, according to a video posted on X by conservative pundit Jack Posobiec.

The showdown took place at the intersection of 11th Street and Locust Street after the Philly Pride March and Festival kicked off around 10:30 a.m. at Washington Square and headed to the city’s Gayborhood section.

At one point, the anti-Israel crowd screamed, “PPP, KKK, IOF they are all the same!” while cops corralled them on one side of the junction and the pride marchers looked on with perplexed and dampened expressions, according to another video posted to X at 12:20 p.m.

While it was not immediately clear if the “PPP” chant referred to the Philly Pride Parade, “KKK” and “IOF” were apparent references to the Ku Klux Klan and the Israel Occupation Forces.
It wouldn't be shocking if the anti-Israel march was attacking the pride parade, based on what the Religion of Peace thinks of LGBT practice. Even though some of the customs in Islam have led to homosexuality over time. But if this report suggests anything, nobody in the LGBT march is going to make big bones out of this interruption of their petty ideology, since, as one leftist movement to another, the Religion of Peace is one specific ideology they don't want to invalidate. Another is bound to be communism, no matter who's practicing it these days. And it all makes clear how non-altruistic they really are.

Philadelphia police refuse to remove anti-Israel demonstrators from university campus

More pro-Hamas demonstrators turned up at the University of Pennsylvania, and here, the police otherwise proved useless:
As tensions escalate at a Gaza Solidarity Encampment at the University of Pennsylvania, administrators are taking a dialogue and de-escalation approach, possibly because they have no choice.

Penn asked the Philadelphia Police Department (PPD) to dismantle the encampment, but the police refused, the student-run Daily Pennsylvanian claimed on May 2.

Police asked that the university first provide proof that the encampment “presents an imminent danger,” reported the paper, citing a source familiar with the matter.

If accurate (and the Philadelphia police refused to confirm or deny the report), it suggests the PPD is creating a new standard for enforcing the law. As the university points out, “The encampment itself violates the university’s facilities policies.”
To make matters worse:
The protesters may have sympathy among senior public officials. Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner, a George Soros-funded DA sharply criticized for his soft-on-crime policies, visited the protesters three times, saying the purpose of his third visit on May 2 was “to find out what the truth is.”

The encampment has not been peaceful, judging from a letter sent Monday to the Penn community by interim President J. Larry Jameson. (President Liz Magill was forced out after backlash for her testimony before Congress, in which she failed to recognize calls for genocide against Jews as violating the university’s code of conduct.)

“The encampment should end. It is in violation of our policies, it is disrupting campus operations and events, and it is causing fear for many in our large, diverse community, especially among our Jewish students,”
the letter states.

“Some have aimed to characterize this as a peaceful protest. It is not. Two cherished Penn landmarks, the Benjamin Franklin statue and the Button, have been defaced and vandalized,” it said.

“There have been disturbing reports of harassing and threatening speech. On Wednesday night, protesters threatened and attempted to provoke Penn Public Safety police officers. On Friday, we were made aware of an alarming video that showed a Penn student being barred entry to the encampment and threatened.”
That a Soros-funded DA is in charge is another disturbing problem. Maybe he should also be barred from Penn grounds. In any event, the protestors must be removed from the campus grounds, and any who're students or staff must be expelled and fired. This has long gone too far.

Update: also, for the record, Jamie Glazov explains why a lot of the pro-Hamas criminals wear masks:
As pro-Hamas protests sweep U.S. campuses across our nation, a curious phenomenon has surfaced: a large number of the protesters are wearing not only the keffiyeh, but also the COVID mask. Why is this, exactly?

The keffiyeh-wearing is not much of a mystery. The protesters are clearly making a statement of solidarity with Islamic jihad in general and with Hamas terror in particular. But the COVID masks add an intriguing twist. Some of the mask-wearers themselves maintain that they are trying to “stay safe” — in what they believe is the ongoing COVID “pandemic.” Other observers have postulated, however, that this is an effort by the protesters to hide their identity.

There are possible elements of truth in both of these reasons, but beneath these layers, something much deeper is going on — and it involves a powerful impulse that serves as the foundation of leftist utopianism itself.

We would do well to reflect upon the manner in which the Maoist Cultural Revolution in China imposed unisex desexualized dress on its citizens. The tyranny perpetrated this as a ruthless war on gender differences and individuality in the name of “equity.” And this war involved a calculated assault on the possibilities of private attractions, affections, and desires.

The central reality to gauge here is that unisex/desexualized dress satisfies leftists’ morbid pining for enforced sameness. It is crucial, in their world, to erase physical as well as emotional differences and attractions between people. In the utopian endgame, humans must all be replicas of one another and be devoted to the cause, the revolutionary state, and to its all-knowing administering of “equality” and “social justice.”

It is no surprise, therefore, that Western leftists were enthralled with the Maoist social engineering experiment. I have documented this in my book United in Hate, where I show how fellow travelers who journeyed to worship at the altar of the Maoist killing fields flew into ecstasy upon witnessing the unisex clothing.
The point about communist China is also interesting. The dress codes they enforced are almost as sick as those in the Islamic world, which you can be sure the pro-Hamas crowd supports. And one could argue China's tactics were like a precursor to some of the LGBT propaganda seen today, which seeks to erase sexual differences.

Muslim no-go zones turning up in Philadelphia

A writer living in Philadelphia warns that what began in Europe is now turning up in the USA, and in the city where I was born:
What appeared to be an unsettling foreign problem has jumped the Atlantic, invading America with a concomitant rise in anti-Semitism, personal attacks on American Jews and synagogues, and has resulted in a dangerous foothold in many American cities, with accompanying thuggish, disruptive behavior. Recent examples are the pro-Palestinian demonstration in St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York City, and the two nights of vandalism at a prominent synagogue (where the author is a congregant) in the Main Line outside of Philadelphia.

It would be prudent for all Americans to remember that Muslims attacking Jews is just their first step. The real goal is Islamic global hegemony. One only has to inspect the myriad extant Muslim countries to confirm that not only are they devoid of Jews, not many Christians remain either.

A phenomenon known as Islamic controlled “no go” zones is steadily growing in Philadelphia. A stealth and increasingly overt Islamic takeover is occurring in Philadelphia and suburban area public school systems, libraries, and universities. The area was shocked when it popped out into the open with the University of Pennsylvania’s Palestinian Writes symposium which was an anti-Israel advertisement disguised as a literary symposium. This takeover includes pro-Palestinian, anti-Israel/anti-Semitic rhetoric.
According to the writer, these Islamists have even been doing prayers on the street by City Hall. And mayoral incumbent Cherelle Parker is fine with that? This is terrible, and another sign of the bad omens to come, even in a city where, from what I know, the Democrats minding the store are even allowing sanctuary for illegal immigrants, whom you can be sure include plenty from Muslim countries. Philly is tragically falling victim to evil in more ways than one.

Released hostage details how she was raped by Hamas members in Gaza

Amit Soussana, one of the people who'd been kidnapped by Hamas terrorists on October 7, 2023, told about her terrible experience:
Released hostage Amit Soussana, 40, described in an interview with the New York Times today (Tuesday) how she was sexually assaulted by her captor after she was kidnapped by Hamas terrorists on October 7.

Soussana stated that she was beaten and kidnapped by ten men on October 7. She was then left chained by her ankle in a child's bedroom in Gaza until October 24, when the first assault occurred.

She described how her captor, Muhammad, held a gun to her head and assaulted her. The Times agreed not to publish the details of what happened.

Soussana was finally released on November 30 after 55 days in captivity, on the last day of the hostage deal.

The Times stated that her account is consistent with what she told doctors and social workers immediately following her release.
This article has more harrowing details, and you'll need a strong stomach for this too. What the jihadists did to those women they raped is obscene beyond belief, just as are the cases that occurred in Europe and elsewhere where Muslims raped and murdered "infidel" women. While it's amazing the NYT was willing to run a report like this, I still wonder why Soussana didn't give the interview to a source like the Washington Times, and even Newsmax. Why must it always be a left-wing source to give the interviews like these to? Let's not forget the NYT's employed a pseudo-journalist who took lenient positions on the same issues when dealing with the Religion of Peace.

While the Israeli president Isaac Herzog has praised Soussana for speaking out, the only Democrat willing to address the issue properly is Rep. John Fetterman from Pennsylvania:
Sen. John Fetterman, D-Pa., jabbed his Democratic colleagues Wednesday for again failing to condemn the actions of Hamas terrorists.

The senator has been an outspoken advocate of Israel in its war with Hamas terrorists, a stance not shared by other more progressive Democrats. In October, he called out members of “The Squad” for blaming a Gaza hospital attack on Israel, describing the assertion as “truly disturbing.”

Taking to X, he doubled down on these criticisms while sharing a news headline reading “Israel hostage says she was sexually assaulted and tortured in Gaza.”

"Some members of Congress won't condemn this,” Sen. Fetterman said. “Some dismissed this as 'propaganda'. The UN won't even condemn Hamas. Hamas is not a group of 'militants' or engaging in 'insurgency'—just rapists and cowards hiding behind innocent civilians.”

Continuing, he noted “Israel absolutely has the right to pursue and dismantle Hamas to surrender or neutralization."
It's miraculous he's one of the very few Democrats willing to speak from the right side about this, and sad to think of how it's possible the party may seek to throw him out for taking such a courageous stand. Fetterman's done the right thing, and if needed, I would recommend he run as an independent candidate in the next state assembly election.

Since we're on the topic, over in Britain, airport authorities were accused of abusing 2 survivors of the bloodbath who'd come to the UK to speak to the local Jewish community:
A survivor of the horrific Hamas massacre at the Supernova music festival on October 7 told the Jerusalem Post on Tuesday that U.K. Border Force officers harassed and abused him and his brother, a fellow survivor, when they flew into the Manchester airport on Sunday.

Neria and Daniel Sharabi, 22 and 23 years old, respectively, were among the 3,000 young attendees at the open-air Supernova music festival in southern Israel on October 7 when Hamas attacked, turning the holiday event into a bloody massacre. One of the survivors compared the scene to a gruesome horror movie that went on for four hours.

The Sharabi brothers were credited with saving dozens of lives during the attack by scrounging weapons from a tank, heroically holding the Hamas death squad at bay, and administering emergency medical aid to the wounded.

Neria used his phone to record video evidence of the attack, while Daniel used his to obtain guidance from his former commander in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). Several of their friends were abducted or killed during the assault. [...]

The Sherabis said the Border Forces officers at the Manchester airport grew hostile after they saw the Israeli passports that the brothers presented.

“Their faces immediately changed. I saw the antisemitism in their eyes, from the moment they started interrogating us,”
Neria told the Jerusalem Post on Monday.

Neria said the officers detained the brothers for two hours to “make sure that you are not going to do what you are doing in Gaza over here,” a reference to the Israeli self-defense operation against Hamas.

Daniel captured the angry response of the Border Force officers to accusations of anti-Semitism on video, including one of them growling, “Nobody has said that once, so knock the attitude off.”

“I’ve made the decision, and you’re coming in,” the officer said. “Let us do the checks that we need to do and keep quiet … We’re the bosses, not you.”

The Sharabi brothers said that after they were taken to detention, officers sternly interrogated them on the subject of their planned speech to the Jewish community and their service in the IDF. They were eventually released and able to give their speech, but Neria said they were made to feel unsafe throughout the encounter. He expressed reluctance to return to the United Kingdom, even if the mission of his non-profit requires it.
While the Jewish community in the UK filed a complaint, chances are entirely possible the Home Office won't investigate convincingly. The UK is really going into tailspin.

Update: in some interesting news in Jerusalem, hostage family members blocked the entrance to a UNRWA office near Ammunition Hill. They did the right thing to bring the protest to one of the places that bears responsibility for the tragedy.

Transsexual activist in Philadelphia arrested for raping children

The city where I was born continues its collapse into moral decay as an LGBT ideologue was discovered violating children:
Kendall Stephens, a transgender woman - so a man - was just arrested with sexually assaulting two children. Stephens is a well-known LGBTQ+ activist in the Philadelphia area and has ties to many democratic leaders. He’s been charged with rape, indecent assault, endangering the welfare of a child, corruption of minors and other crimes with two boys under the age of 13, the court documents indicate.

The grandmother of one of the victims came forward in September and accused Stephens of sexually abusing her grandchild starting when he was just 8-years-old. A family member of the second victim also came forward with a similar claim, adding that Stephens insisted the child would go to prison if he spoke out about the abuse, Fox News reported.

[...] This is what the left is creating with their attempts to warp truth and reality. If we allow people like Stephens to parade around as something he’s not and honor him for it, of course he’s going to think that anything he wants will be accepted and respected. Therefore, it's no surprise he thought he could do whatever he wanted to these little kids and face no repercussions for it.
The leftist advocacy for protected-class statuses for deviants has led to whole generations of perverts who believe being a LGBT ideologue, a Muslim or even a political leftist in almost every sense of the word means never having to say you're sorry. Now, we're seeing more of the sad fallout from all this fiasco.

And just look how far Philly's fallen. I can't bear to visit there anymore.

University presidents made themselves look horrific on the issue of anti-Israeli violence

3 university presidents were called in to testify about the crisis of antisemitism at their campuses, and all 3 actually made themselves look repulsive, because they wound up acting as apologists for it. Only now, after the initial testimonies, are they actually backtracking:
The presidents of Harvard and the University of Pennsylvania on Wednesday sought to contain the damage from congressional testimony a day earlier in which they struggled to say whether calls on their campuses for genocide against Jews would violate school policies.

The stuttering testimony before a US House of Representatives committee by Claudine Gay and Elizabeth Magill, the leaders of Harvard and Penn, respectively, stirred outrage — particularly among Jewish alumni and donors — and added fuel to calls to replace them. By Wednesday evening, an online petition calling for Penn’s board to sack Magill had garnered more than 4,500 signatures from students and donors.

In a video address released on Wednesday, a sober-looking Magill said she had erred by taking an overly legalistic approach when responding to the question posed by Elise Stefanik, the New York Republican representative, who pressed the academics to say plainly whether calling for the genocide of Jews on their campuses violated their codes of conduct of harassment policies.
What took place was worse than harassment. It was support for murder and sexual violence. Such behavior is serious enough to warrant police enforcement to arrest any and all offenders, and even the college presidents themselves should be arrested and imprisoned for failure to report/prevent crimes. Even the part about "legalistic" is DS. Why, if that's how they're going to address anti-Israeli hostility, who knows how they'd respond if 9-11 victims were the subject? Stefanik panned the so-called apology:
Rep. Elise Stefanik, R-NY, blasted the president's video, calling it a "pathetic PR clean up attempt."

"This pathetic PR clean up attempt by Penn shockingly took over 24 hours to try to fix the moral depravity of the answers under oath yesterday,"
Rep. Stefanik wrote in a post on X. "And there was not even an apology. By the way, the questions were asked over and over and over again."

"No statement will fix what the world saw and heard yesterday."

The Ivy League president said that a call for genocide of the Jewish people would be classified as harassment or intimidation, despite her previous comments saying that it would "depend on the context."
"Depend" is another pathetic wording Magill employed. In the meantime, all concerned should stop donating to these monster factories, should not take classes there, and should also file police reports against the management as much as against the offending alumna themselves. Seriously, there is grounds on which to prosecute university managements, and it's something that should also be done when it comes to cases like the transsexual male creep swimming against female swimmers at these institutions in the past year or so. Yes, Riley Gaines should by all means file a legal case against even the offender himself over that matter. Update: some local sources are speaking out against this academic abomination. For example, the Yad Vashem chairman:
"It's appalling but not surprising," he said. "I visited these institutions, spoke with presidents, provosts, and deans, as well as with the incredible Jewish leaders who are the silver lining there. These Jewish leaders feel ostracized. In a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion class, they put all the Jews in a separate room to 'protect' them. I spoke with the presidents and provosts, and they have no idea what is going on."

"The problem is in the faculty, which is developing, article by article, a policy that calls for the elimination of the Jewish state. Such a protocol is not logical, but it is doubtless driven by other things, such as the Qatari investments some of these institutions are receiving," he explained.

"The presidents of these universities respond by citing the First Amendment about freedom of speech. I say to them - if such a doctrine were to be developed calling for the ostracization of the LGBTQ+ community or targeting people of color, that too would be protected by the First Amendment, but that professor would be fired the following day. The same professor calling for the elimination of the state of Israel has a good chance of being promoted."

He added: "This is a cancerous process. I saw it starting five to ten years ago when there were reasonably easy steps that could have been taken against the BDS referendums. We are now in stage two cancer, and more aggressive treatments are needed - treatments I am not optimistic to see from the current administration. At stage three and four, it will be terminal - but for the universities, not for the Jews."

Dayan says that he believes that claims of history repeating itself are more than hyperbole. "For the first time, I see the similarities between what happened then and what is happening now. The people who burned books in Berlin in the 1930s were not the ignorant masses but the professors and students of the most prestigious universities in Germany. Virtually, the Zionist books in the university libraries are already being burned."

He sees distinct similarities between Hamas and the Nazis: "The cruelty displayed by Hamas is the same cruelty displayed by the Nazis, and the intentions are the same genocidal intentions. Whether to call them Nazis can be debated, but there can be no doubt about their intentions."

[...] Dayan believes that the denial of the massacre mandates action by his institution. "Denial of the Holocaust started in the 40s. Denial of Oct. 7th started on Oct. 8th. Denial of antisemitism and the state of Israel is growing as well and costing Jewish lives. Yad Vashem traditionally doesn't deal with modern antisemitism because six million Jews murdered in the Shoah are entitled to an institution that is exclusively for them. The situation now, though, calls for exceptional actions, and so now we will be active in combating modern antisemitism too."
Here's some more on the Algemeiner:
Antisemitism on American college campuses is comparable to Stage 2 cancer, and if allowed to progress to Stage 4, academia will be “doomed,” the chairman of Yad Vashem, Israel’s national memorial to the Holocaust, told The Algemeiner a day after presidents of elite US universities refused to issue a condemnation of genocidal calls against Jews and Israel.

According to Dani Dayan, institutions of higher education are becoming increasingly filled with “pseudo-academic theories advocating for genocide of the Jewish people,” and the leadership of those colleges are supporting them, “either by action or inaction.”

Dayan said he explained to University of Pennsylvania president Elizabeth Magill — who drew outrage in September for refusing to cancel an anti-Zionist festival featuring speakers accused of promoting antisemitic conspiracies and violence against Israel — that antisemitism was a “cancerous process” that wasn’t stopped at Stage 1 by universities when it would have been “relatively easy” to do so.

“Now we are in Stage 2, which is much more difficult, and necessarily takes harsher steps,” he said.

“But if we don’t take those steps now, we will reach Stage 3 and Stage 4, which is terminal,” he added, clarifying the problem would be lethal “not for the Jews, but terminal for the university. They will be doomed if they continue this way.”
Well this is why any university that allows such repulsive ideologies to take hold cannot be bankrolled anymore by sane people's money, period. Nor can Jewish students continue to learn there. They'd do well to save their hard-earned money.

Update 2: since the the subject of the Holocaust during WW2 came up here, see also this article about Miss Puerto Rico Michelle Colón revealing she had relatives who were murdered during the Holocaust.

Update 3: rabbi David Wolpe resigned from the Harvard antisemitism investigation committee after Gay's catastrophous failure of responsibility.

Update 4: Magill has resigned on the 9th of December as president of UPenn. What she did was truly repulsive, and she should be ostracized by sensible people for excusing the seriousness of the topic.

Hamas supporters in Philadelphia hurl obscenities at Israeli-owned restaurant

In Democrat-controlled Philadelphia, pro-Hamas demonstrators continued to act truly disgusting, targeting the Goldie's restaurant which is owned by an Israeli immigrant:
Pro-Palestinian protesters gathered outside an Israeli-American’s falafel shop in Philadelphia on Sunday and charged the owners with “genocide” for their support of Israel after Hamas’ terror attacks on Oct. 7, according to CBS News.

The store is owned by Chef Michael Solomonov, who is Israeli, and he announced in October that his business would be raising funds for the charity Friends of United Hatzalah, which provides emergency services to those injured in Israel, according to CBS News. A protest, organized by the Philadelphia Free Palestine Coalition (PFPC), marched to Goldie and began chanting that the business was complicit with “genocide.”

“Goldie, Goldie you can’t hide, we charge you with genocide,” the crowd chanted, according to a post on X, formerly known as Twitter.

[...] Democratic Gov. Josh Shapiro of Pennsylvania called the protest’s targeting of Goldie a “blatant act of antisemitism” and denied claims that it was a “peaceful protest,” according to a post on X.

“A restaurant was targeted and mobbed because its owner is Jewish and Israeli,” Shapiro wrote. “This hate and bigotry is reminiscent of a dark time in history.” Shapiro also said that he had spoken with Solomonov and that he and his wife “look forward to breaking bread there with them again soon.”
Here's more:
Governor Shapiro stated that he has been in contact with Solomonov and looks forward to eating at the falafel shop.

The demonstration outside Goldie's was also condemned by Congressman Brendan Boyle (D-Pa.), who wrote: "I can’t believe I even have to say this but targeting businesses simply because they’re Jewish owned is despicable. Philadelphia stands against this sort of harassment and hate."
Oh, do tell us about it. There was election fraud in Philly 3 years ago, all for the sake of ousting Donald Trump from office, and crime in the city's increased since, so is it any surprise this terrible incident could happen? Hardly. Shapiro - and Boyle - will do the right thing to attend the restaurant in solidarity, but it still doesn't excuse how leftism's led to this sad state over many years.

Update: Joel Pollak reports more evidence has been published of Hamas atrocities, but be warned that it's extremely graphic.

Teenager in Philadelphia charged with al Qaeda collaboration

The threat of Islamic terrorism lurks in Philadelphia, as a teenager was charged with plotting a terrorist attack with support from al Qaeda:
A Philadelphia teenager has been charged with plotting a potentially “catastrophic terrorist attack” after federal authorities discovered the teen had allegedly been communicating with an al Qaeda-affiliated terror group and gathering bomb-making material.

The 17-year-old was taken into custody by FBI SWAT officers at his home in West Philadelphia on Aug. 11 after an investigation headed by the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force, officials revealed Monday.

The unnamed teen is suspected to have been in contact with Katibat al Tawhid wal Jihad, an organization designated as a global terrorist group by the State Department in 2022.

The group, which has links to al Qaeda, primarily operates in Syria’s Idlib Province but is also believed to be responsible for the April 2017 metro attack in Saint Petersburg, Russia, and an August 2016 suicide car bombing outside the Chinese Embassy in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.

The juvenile allegedly received guidance from the terror group on how to construct improvised explosive devices and FBI agents observed the teen purchasing bomb-making materials and “outdoor or tactical gear” before his arrest.
As we can see here, this makes clear Islamofascism's still a most serious threat anywhere in the USA. But political correctness ruins any attempt to combat it properly.

Muslim in Philadelphia committed decapitation of wife

Thom Nickels wrote about a terrible case of an Islamic honor murder that took place in Philadelphia:
In the Lawndale section of Philadelphia recently, a 41-year-old woman, Leila al Raheel, was decapitated by her 34-year-old husband in the kitchen of their home. Ahmad Shareef was apprehended six blocks from the scene of the murder, hiding behind a clump of bushes. The mainstream news media reported the crime as yet another example of “generic” domestic violence. The police even called it a “domestic homicide,” without elaborating or speculating on a motive, as well as hiding the fact that the alleged killer was Muslim.

Joanne Otero-Cruz, who runs Women Against Abuse, a nonprofit in Philadelphia, was quoted in reference to the above murder as saying, “A lot of people actually experience this. There is help out there.”

Let’s step back a moment.

Most female domestic abuse victims do not experience decapitation. Decapitation with a knife by a “loved one” has a decidedly Muslim flavor — but of course it was impossible for Otero-Cruz to reference this subtext, or to bring up the possibility of an honor killing. Had she done so this would have led to charges of stereotyping and “Islamophobia,” as every mainstream news reporter by now realizes. Multiple reports of the Lawndale murder kept to the “generic” domestic abuse scenario, as if something had gone terribly wrong in (yet another) Brady Bunch household.
As Nickels also notes, the victim was treated like a slave too, and no MSM sources saw fit to note that. How much longer will the public continue to give audience to major news outlets who ignore the most serious details of these terrible incidents? It's just shameful they're even still in business.

Philadelphia food festival's capitulation to antisemitism leads to event being cancelled entirely

The organizers of a food festival in Philadelphia's Kensington district caved to violent threats because they were initially going to host an Israeli food vendor:
A food truck selling Israeli street food was disinvested from a Philadelphia food festival that took place on Father's Day weekend following what its organizers said was a harsh public backlash, ostensibly including violent threats.

Food truck Moshava said on social media that its invitation to the "Taste of Home" event scheduled for Father's Day was pulled because organizers feared protests over their Israeli ties.

In a statement on Instagram, Eat Up the Borders, an NGO that purports to "promote small, family, or immigrant-owned businesses," said that "in order to provide the best experience to all, we decided to remove one of our food vendors from Sunday's event.
It goes without saying that was pure cowardice, and now, following furious reactions, the managers have practically cancelled the entire event:
After the decision not to include Moshava sparked outrage, organizers decided to cancel the entire event.

"Our mistake this time, with not only our event partners but in general, was not educating ourselves. And not properly making sure that everyone is properly represented," said Melvin Powell, executive director of Sunflower Philly. "So that's where we made the decision to cancel the event."
But here's where the flaws really come in:
Sunflower Philly wrote on Instagram that it will "continue to host events with people of all races, nationalities and sexual orientations who are aligned with our mission."
It's actually more stupefying than it seems:
EUTB explained in its statement that Moshava took part in the food festival in May 2021 and afterwards organizers received “some pushback from activists” who criticized the Israeli vendor’s involvement. EUTB’s responded by inviting a Palestinian food vendor to its June 2021 event, which Moshava was also invited to, but the Palestinian vendor pulled out before the festival “due to time constraints.”

“After attendees noticed the absence of the Palestinian food vendor, many suggested boycotting and protesting at the event,” EUTB said. “Two days prior to the event, we decided to prioritize the safety of all — Moshava, other vendors, and our guests — and postpone Moshava’s appearance until a future event. We made it clear that Eat Up The Borders and Sunflower Philly would like to continue working with them in the future, and work together to learn how to address such a fragile situation. We offered to give Moshava 10 percent of our door sales and vendors offered to share a portion of their proceeds to a cause they were apart of.”

“We were ignorant in our actions, and it was inexcusable,” EUTB added. “We are in touch with leaders from the Jewish and Palestinian community to aid us in our growth and further the conversation. We are truly sorry to Moshava, and the Jewish and Palestinian communities. We look forward to listening, learning, and growing from this.”
The real problem - and what's really led to the cancellation of the festival - is that the managers are stuck on moral equivalence, and that could easily risk putting an end to the festival altogether, because they don't have the guts to avoid ideologically-driven approaches to these festivals. As a result, this embarrassment wound up occurring.

How leftist corruption runs Philadelphia

The Federalist has an article on the deep-running corruption in Pennsylvania, and mainly in Philadelphia:
Most Americans might not know the name Ozzie Myers, although a part of his tale was told in the hit 2013 movie “American Hustle” about the FBI sting that sent four congressmen to prison in the 1970s.

If you’re from Philadelphia, though, you know his name, and knew it well before 2013. He’s important to the country now because he’s currently under indictment for bribing a state elections judge to stuff ballots for Democratic candidates. Among the candidates he was paid to get elected are three as-yet-unnamed judges sitting on the Philadelphia Common Pleas Court. That’s where President Donald Trump’s reelection campaign has to go when local election officials refuse to let campaign monitors oversee ballot integrity, as has been the case these past few days throughout Pennsylvania.

In addition, Trump’s U.S. attorney, William McSwain, has hinted that those Democrats tainted by election-fixing go all the way from local officials to the U.S. Congress, including the three unidentified judges.

Why should anyone care about that court? Because it’s playing a major role in the presidential election.
And no doubt, they're going to do everything they can to sabotage Trump's rightful election, at the expense of all who voted for him, myself included. The criminal element tainting the Pennsylvania courts is a disgrace and embarrassment, and another example of the eroding standards in the USA.

Antisemitism committed by BLM hoodlums in Philadelphia

Some Jewish residents in Philadelphia experienced the anti-semitism expressed by BLM thugs at one of their atrocious "protests":
An episode in which three visibly Jewish men were harassed with slurs during the aftermath of a racial justice protest in Philadelphia this week was instigated by an adherent of a fringe extremist movement connected to an anti-Semitic shooting last year.

The incident, which was captured in a video circulated widely on social media, happened late Tuesday night, after demonstrations erupted across the city protesting the killing one day earlier by police of Walter Wallace, an African American man.

“Amalek, Amalek, what are y’all doing down here?” a man off camera says, referencing a biblical tribe traditionally seen as the eternal enemy of the Jews. “Y’all know that we’re the real Jews, right?”

A handful of people then advance on the three Jews, urging them to leave. At one point, someone pushes one of the three Jews, who later moves behind a line of police officers. One man appears to try to shield the Jews from the man holding the camera, who later calls the Jews “synagogue of Satan.”
This is what BLM is really built on, and what we're going to continue seeing if Joe Biden is elected. Such truly awful people are running it. And these same thugs ignored how Wallace was threatening 2 policemen with a knife at close range, not giving room to do much else other than defend themselves from his violence. All the BLM movement care about are excuses to commit violence and vandalism.

Possible vaccine for Coronavirus at the Pittsburgh university

The Daily Wire points to an announcement made by staff at the Pittsburgh university's medical school that they've got a potential vaccine for Coronavirus:
On Thursday, the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, where Dr. Jonas Salk discovered a vaccine for polio, announced they have created a potential vaccine for the coronavirus.

Researchers gave the vaccine to mice through a patch in the skin, and say not only that the vaccine proved effective, but that producing similar patches with a vaccine for humans is scalable and can be produced in large quantities, according to KDKA radio, which notes, “It is the first study to be published after it was critiqued by other scientists ‘at outside institutions that describes a candidate vaccine for COVID-19.’”

Co-senior author Andrea Gambotto, M.D, who is an associate professor of surgery at the Pitt School of Medicine, stated, “We had previous experience on SARS-CoV in 2003 and MERS-CoV in 2014. These two viruses, which are closely related to SARS-CoV-2, teach us that a particular protein, called a spike protein, is important for inducing immunity against the virus. We knew exactly where to fight this new virus. That’s why it’s important to fund vaccine research. You never know where the next pandemic will come from.”
I hope this'll be greenlighted for mass production soon. The sooner a vaccine can be made official for the public, the better. Since we're on the subject, Ruthie Blum's also spoken about it, and reports that:
For a region to achieve herd immunity, however, an overwhelming majority of its population needs to be vaccinated. It’s a gradual process, but a blessed one that everyone awaits impatiently in relation to COVID-19.

On this score, Netanyahu received some encouraging news from the Israel Institute for Biological Research (IIBR), the Nes Ziona-based bio-defense lab that he tasked in February with researching and developing the vaccine. IIBR director Shmuel Shapira reported on “significant progress” in the endeavor, with a “model for commencing an animal trial” in the works.

Meanwhile, scientists at the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology in Haifa and at MIGAL-Galilee Research Institute in Kiryat Shmona are also engaged in what promises to be fruitful research.

MIGAL biotech group leader Dr. Chen Katz told The Jerusalem Post on Wednesday that his team is very close to producing an oral vaccine that could be cleared for testing on humans as early as June 1. Similar efforts are underway, as well, in laboratories around the coronavirus-infected globe.
If they've made progress too, that's also good.
