Iran's tyranny will never be defeated this way

The Times of Israel reports that Twitter, already one of the most notorious social networks on the web, defended its refusal to penalize Iran's overlord for posting antisemitic messages calling for Israel's destruction on their platforms:
A Twitter official on Wednesday said that the tweets in which Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei calls for Israel’s destruction do not violate the company’s rules against hate speech, and indicated that they are considered mere “foreign policy saber-rattling.”

“We have an approach toward leaders that says that direct interactions with fellow public figures, comments on political issues of the day, or foreign policy saber-rattling on military-economic issues are generally not in violation of our rules,” Ylwa Pettersson, Twitter’s head policy for the Nordic countries and Israel, told the Knesset’s Committee for Immigration, Absorption and Diaspora Affairs, via video-conference.

She was responding to a question by pro-Israel activist Arsen Ostrovsky, who had asked why Twitter attached a special label to a recent tweet by US President Donald Trump noting that it violated the company’s rules, while the Iranian leaders’ many tweets about his wish for Israel to be destroyed are left untouched.
Her defense is incomprehensible, and obviously intended to dodge the more serious issues, along with the pure hypocrisy of declaring Trump a problem, but not Iran's autocrats. I just can't understand what's so great about Twitter for anybody when this kind of political correctness reigns supreme there. Above all, Iran's tyranny will not be stopped if this continues as it is.

Jerusalem's mayor wishes leftist demonstrators would cut out their yammering

Moshe Leon, the mayor of Jerusalem, asked anti-Netanyahu demonstrators to take a night off:
The mayor of Jerusalem, Moshe Lion, pleaded with the heads of the protest movements against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Thursday to cancel demonstrations set for Thursday night.

The demonstrations are set to begin after the end of the fast of Tisha B'av. But Lion said they should take the night off.

"I call upon all the protesters to refrain from demonstrating today out of concern for security forces and residents of the city after a day of fasting amid heavy heat," Lion told the leaders of the protest movements. "Tisha B'av is not like other days. It is a long fast day that this year is exhaustingly hot. I hope my request will be answered."
Alas, it wasn't. And the left-wing organizers and attendants clearly aren't particularly worried about Coronavirus infections either. This is a huge disrespect they've shown for residents of the city's population that would rather have some tranquility than a lot of disrespectful dolts making noise non-stop.

Ontario's education ministry made use of an anti-Israeli video

The JNS reported that a group affiliated with the Simon Wiesenthal Center found the Canadian education division in Ontario making use of an anti-Israeli video for student assignments:
The Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Center (FSWC) has reached out to the Ontario Minister of Education in search of answers after an anti-Israel video was found to be part of the curriculum of a Grade 10 online civics course, announced the organization in a mass email on Monday.

FSWC spoke last week with a parent whose son was required to watch a short video about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict as part of an online summer course taken through the York Region District School Board (YRDSB).

According to the video, “The current occupation of the Palestinian land by the Zionists have violated the human rights of the Palestinians. They have deprived the Palestinians of natural resources, such as water, and taking [sic] the majority of it for themselves. The Zionists that are granted these privileges are backed by the military. … This conflict continues to rage on because the Israelis continue to live as occupiers while the Palestinians live under occupation.”

When the parent complained to the YRDSB about misinformation and bias in the video, it was quickly removed from the course’s online portal.

Questions remain, however, about how many students were exposed to the video, whether the video remains in the Ontario curriculum and how such a libelous video ended up in the curriculum in the first place.
Oh, that's easy. It's because of the same kind of government corruption that plagues many different countries. In Canada, it's clear as should be in many other places that it's a serious issue that needs to be cleaned up.

Wash. Post settles lawsuit by Nicholas Sandmann

Looks like one of the worst mainstream papers in the US was willing to compensate the student they framed for acting disorderly towards a troublemaker a few years ago:
Following the lead of CNN, the Washington Post settled a defamation lawsuit filed by Kentucky teenager Nicholas Sandmann over the newspaper’s coverage of a confrontation he and other students had at the March for Life rally in Washington, D.C.

Sandmann, who at the time was a junior at Covington Catholic High School in Covington, Kentucky, was portrayed in a viral video of mocking or trying to intimidate Native American Warren Phillips, who was attending an Indigenous Peoples March. But it was Phillips who approached Sandmann and not the other way around, as the media reports led people to believe.
It was all a most disgraceful attempt to create controversy for the sake of it, and make false accusations of racial strife. Sandmann's lucky he won this lawsuit. It's to be hoped this'll improve the situation for the better in the future.

Former TV star becomes porn star, and her fans think it's a worthy venture

If pornography does have upsides, actress Maitland Ward's certainly managed to find them, and her fans support her position as well:
Former actress Maitland Ward said she expected “negative backlash” when she transitioned to her porn career, but she reported the reaction was “quite the opposite.”

She has even helped fans of her adult films with their sex lives in the past, Ward told the New York Post in an article published Thursday. [...]

Ward also claimed that young people have been the “most positive” about her adult film content. She said she gets messages from young women who are “sex positive.”

“Porn taboo — I’m finding it’s generational,” Ward said. “An older crowd is still shocked and judgmental. The stigma is there. But not with young people.”

Young women in their 20s tell me all the time how empowered I make them feel and that I’m doing something really liberating for women,” she said. “Young women are taking their own pleasure seriously and they watch adult films too. The stigmas are going away. It’s a great feeling.”
I've thought there could be an upside in pornography, and that's why this is decidedly positive news at a time when there's leftist SJWs taking obnoxious anti-sex positions. This is honestly something to be relieved about, that young people do see heterosexuality as a good thing.

Naftali Bennet's anti-Netanyahu bias continues

The irritating "right-wing" politician who only seems to be in the Knesset to try and rob votes from the Likud says he may not recommend Netanyahu after the next election:
Yamina chairman Naftali Bennett asserted on Monday that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu should “absolutely not” assume that his right-wing, nationalist slate will recommend that the Likud leader continue serving as premier if new elections were called.

“Netanyahu cannot be certain that we will recommend him,” he said during an interview on Channel 13.
And how can we be certain Bennett is really a dedicated right-winger? He's done nothing but work as a publicity hound these days, and would make a rotten prime minister himself. He had a chance to enter a coalition without causing trouble, and now, he's been left out, as he deserved. Of course it's a shame Bennett has to be so dreadful as a politician, but that's life, where real life figures just aren't saints they claim to be.

Leftists demonstrating violently against Netanyahu seem unconcerned about their health

The police ministry says the anti-Netanyahu demonstrations of recent are a Covid19 health risk:
Public Security Minister Amir Ohana on Monday defended the recording in which he is heard asking Jerusalem's head of police to relocate the anti-government protests from Prime Minister's Residence, describing them as "incubators for coronavirus".

The recording published by the public broadcaster KAN reveals the minister, in charge of Israel's law enforcement, pressured Jerusalem District Police Commander Doron Yadid to move the protests. Yadid is could be heard saying, the police were already stricter on health regulations during the rallies in Jerusalem, compared to other events.

"We asked for police's judgement on the matter," Ohana told Ynet. "The Director General of the Health Ministry Hezi Levi says the same, the protests are incubators for coronavirus, with thousands crowded in one open space."
The violence on display at these demonstrations is also a serious concern, and there were warnings of recent that threats were being made against Netanyahu as well. Worst, the attorney-general may not be taking them seriously, and that's making this a very bad situation indeed.

That aside, one can only wonder if the leftist demonstrators are comprising a significant number of the latest corona patients at hospitals:
Israeli hospitals are straining under the weight of the novel coronavirus, and the latest reports show that some of them are at more than 100% capacity in a month when hospitalizations are normally down.

The number of coronavirus patients continues to increase, with the percentage of those testing positive out of those screened close to 9% in the last day, the Health Ministry reported.
Of course this is troubling, and one has to wonder whether the left-wing anarchists of recent are contributing to the fill-ups in hospitals? Do they even care about their own health?

Biden's team is suppressing the Latino vote, and leftists are targeting right-wing black activists

This news on the Daily Wire reveals what the Democrats are really like:
Ninety-four Democratic field organizers tasked with helping to elect presumptive presidential nominee Joe Biden in Florida have reportedly signed an internal letter to the state Democratic Party complaining about a “toxic” work environment, and an absence of a “fully functional field plan.”

According to the Miami Herald, the field organizers made eight allegations ranging from dismissiveness of staff concerns, to an absence of campaign resources, to inexplicably moving Puerto Rican organizers who speak Spanish to areas of the state with fewer Hispanics.

“The [Coordinated Campaign of Florida] is suppressing the Hispanic vote by removing Spanish-speaking organizers from Central Florida without explanation, which fails to confront a system of white-dominated politics we are supposed to be working against as organizers of a progressive party,” said the letter, reports the news agency.

“We are roughly 100 days out from the election, and there is no functional targeted field outreach and organizing of the Hispanic/Spanish-speaking, Brazilian/Portuguese-speaking, and Haitian/Creole-speaking communities in our state,” the letter reads at another point. “There are no targets, scripts, data infrastructure, community outreach, or phonebanks established for this.”
Now this is certainly eyebrow-raising. Besides the troubling news above, there's also the possibility that leftists are targeting black conservatives. According to the American Thinker:
Recent news brought two alarming stories. In Milwaukee, an unknown person shot and killed Bernell Trammell, a black Trump supporter. In Portland, an Antifa member attempted to kill Andrew Duncomb, aka “Black Rebel,” a black conservative. Since we currently don’t know who shot Trammell, we can’t say with certainty that his murder was tied to his politics. Nevertheless, the fact that two black conservatives were targeted over two days is deeply troubling.
This is horrifying news, and if leftists are indeed that far gone, that's why the left is a bad place for anybody to be on.

More cases of Corona infections in PLO dominated territories

The illnesses from Corona in the PLO areas continues apace:
The Palestinian Authority (PA) on Saturday said that 382 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in its territories, raising its total number of registered cases to 12,809, the Xinhua news agency reports.

The PA “ministry of health” said four citizens died of the virus, bringing the total deaths since March 5 to 77.

The ministry noted that recovered cases reached 3,741, leaving 8,991 active cases under medical observation.

Overall, 15 patients are currently in intensive care units, including three who are connected to respirators. [...]

After the easing of a previous coronavirus lockdown in late May, PA “health minister” Mai al-Kaila said the PA had entered a second wave of infections "more dangerous than the first".
It's the PLO's own fault, of course. That's what happens when they embrace evils like antisemtism and jihadism.

Colorado conservative explains why they have to disown Michelle Malkin

A conservative activist writing in the Denver Post explains why rightists in that state, as much as in any other, have to distance themselves from the now derailing news columnist who embraced a vile antisemitic movement that antagonized Ben Shapiro:
A main speaker at this rally was right-wing writer Michelle Malkin, who was physically accosted by far-left agitators. This violence is anathema to a free society. Antifa types and their allies stand against democratic values shared by conservatives and liberals alike. What they did was unequivocally vile.

The rally was, however, a painful reminder that Malkin remains a part of the conservative movement in Colorado. It is morally unconscionable that she has a platform within conservative circles, including speaking at this rally. [...]

Until recently, she called herself an immigration restrictionist; someone who believes in limiting legal immigration as well as ending its illegal form. She has since moved on to the fever swamps of the Alt Right. [...]

Among these Alt Right figures is Nick Fuentes, a white nationalist podcaster and head of the Groyper movement. Fuentes came of political age marching with Nazis, white supremacists and other racists at the 2017 Unite the Right march in Charlottesville. He dabbles in Holocaust denial, uses anti-Semitic language, and threatened Jewish conservative Ben Shapiro on air with a switchblade.

His “Groyper Army” is a collection of young men who adopt an America First ideology along with racism and anti-Semitism. They regularly sabotage the events of mainstream conservatives like Charlie Kirk, Ben Shapiro, Rep. Dan Crenshaw, and Donald Trump Jr., trolling the Q&A with questions about white identity and anti-Semitic conspiracy theories. Many on the Right spoke out against them. But Malkin dug in, using her final speech at Young America’s Foundation to defend not just the Groypers and Nick Fuentes, but other white nationalists like Peter Brimelow, Patrick Casey, and John Derbyshire who have been rightfully booted from conservative circles.

After losing speaking engagements because of these associations, Malkin continued strong support of the Groypers; this March, she headlined their political conference. She proudly called herself their “Mommy.” She described the term anti-Semite as “ a useless, meaningless term and everybody knows it.”
She's also made statements that were hurtful to Latinos. In hindsight, it's just head-shaking to think of how we could've been bamboozled by such a wolf in sheep's clothing, and I do faintly recall there were some subjects she brought up in the past decade that were in questionable taste. All she's doing now is making conservatism look bad, exactly what the left wants, and it's clear she hasn't renounced any associations with Fuentes, nor has she apologized to Shapiro for lending herself to those who'd cause him harm. To think, that she'd throw her reputation away all over this one mere screwball who's since had his videos banned for the incitement he was causing. Certainly the violence employed by left wing anarchists in Colorado was reprehensible. But it's still no excuse for the damage she's causing by lending her support to a bunch of equally vile thugs. It'll take a long time before Malkin can salvage her reputation, if she ever wants to. For now, she's walked away from what could've been a promising career, all for the sake of a bad omen, and it's a most terrible shame.

Dutch airline staff acted as useful idiots to ultra-Orthodox passenger discriminating against lady passenger

Israel National News reported on the ruling by an investigation into a Dutch airline's anti-female discrimination to accommodate a selfish, most likely Haredi passenger:
A Dutch human rights board found the national airline KLM guilty of discriminating against a woman who was moved from her seat because an Orthodox Jewish man wouldn’t sit near her.

The Human Rights College, a watchdog organization whose members are appointed by the king, made the ruling Thursday in a review of an incident from May 2019 aboard an airplane traveling from New York to Amsterdam, the AD news site reported.

KLM “made a gender discrimination against the couple by failing to provide a discrimination-free environment during a flight.”

Ronald van Raak, a lawmaker for the Socialist Party, submitted a complaint to the College after his wife was bumped from her seat because of the protestations of an Orthodox passenger who said he did not want to sit next to a woman. (This scenario arises from time to time on flights, where people usually do not have discretion over where they sit.)

KLM cabin crew asked the van Raaks to “cooperate in solving this problem” in order to “make the boarding process as smooth as possible,” the rights board said. “However, the Orthodox Jewish man was not held accountable for his behavior, nor was it made clear to him that there were discriminatory aspects,” it ruled, adding: “Also, the Orthodox Jewish man or company he was part of was not asked to cooperate in solving the seating problem.”
Wouldn't you know it, the victims were affiliated with Dutch socialists, and depending how you see this, it gives ammunition to leftists, the socialism of the likely Haredi man notwithstanding. One could say this was a case of socialists eating their own, in a manner of speaking. But it's still a very bad image for the Judaist religion, Orthodox or otherwise, and the Haredi passenger should be banned from traveling on the airline altogether.

Leifer's loathsome lawyers resort to victim-blaming

Almost forgot I wanted to comment on a recent hearing in the Malka Leifer extradition case, and as reported by Australian Broadcasting, her lawyers have resorted to victim-blaming, and attempts to legitimize sexual abuse of minors:
Defence lawyers for alleged paedophile Malka Leifer have told an Israeli court she should not be extradited because her alleged victims consented to the abuse.

[...] Her lawyers argued against extradition on several grounds, including that because the 1976 extradition treaty between Israel and Australia does not explicitly cover the crime of sexual assault, it does not apply to their client.

Defence lawyer Nick Kaufman also questioned whether some of the alleged abuse was a crime under Israeli law, because it occurred when two of the alleged victims were no longer children and could have rebuffed the sexual advances, implying they consented.

He raised concerns that Ms Leifer, a strict ultra-orthodox Jew, would not have her religious needs accommodated in an Australian prison.

"The media have turned her into a monster," he said outside court.
I'll bet they don't have a care in the world that the same media they allege turned her into the monster she actually happens to be has long gone out of its way to turn right-wingers into monsters with anti-Israeli rhetoric and propaganda. There's been at least one testimony already from a local girl that she too was victim of Leifer's assaults, and that's all you need to know that Leifer IS a monster. So it's offensive that these attorneys would resort to such denigrating tactics to defend their repellent client.
Israeli prosecutors arguing for the extradition said the treaty had broader scope to include the alleged offences and that Victoria's Corrective Services already had custody of an ultra-orthodox prisoner, meaning they could provide kosher food and accommodate other religious requirements.

They told the court the question of consent could be argued at trial but was irrelevant to the extradition process.

Ms Leifer's alleged victims said they were upset her defence lawyers had suggested they could have consented to her sexual advances.
They have every right to take offense at her lawyers' tactics, which certainly give a bad image to those siding with Haredi criminals. Just for that, the lawyers should be disbarred.

Of course Recep Erdogan's launched a new era of religious wars

Jonathan Tobin at JNS discusses the Turkish dictator's changing the status of Hagia Sophia cathedral back into a mosque and what it means:
A century later, Erdoğan is determined to consign such enlightened attitudes to the dustbin of history. The Turkish leader’s ambition to be the leader of the Islamic world is also motivating him to engage in the sort of gestures that will prop up notions about maintaining Islam’s domination of the region.

In the same statement, he added that the reimposition of Muslim worship on the Hagia Sophia is “the harbinger of the liberation of Masjid al-Aqsa [the Al-Aqsa Mosque on Jerusalem’s Temple Mount].” That’s a call for throwing Israel out of Jerusalem and the spot holiest in Judaism. That this incendiary comment came during the period when religious Jews begin the period of mourning for the destruction of the ancient Temple culminating on Tisha B’Av is probably coincidental but still chilling.

What happened in Constantinople was hardly unique. Invading Muslims did the same thing everywhere they triumphed during the period when they spread their faith by force of arms from India to Europe. And, to be fair, Christian forces repaid the favor when they reconquered Spain and the Balkans by converting mosques into churches.

So when Erdoğan echoes the Palestinian rhetoric of both the so-called moderates of Fatah and the extremists of Hamas about chasing the Jews from Jerusalem, he’s not just signaling his hostility to the Jewish state. He’s also making it clear that he wishes to claim the title of the guardian of Islam from Saudi leaders that many Muslims think are now tainted by their under-the-table relations with Israel.
And that's because he wants the new conversion of Hagia Sophia into a mosque anew to serve as a symbol of intent to re-conquer Jerusalem and Israel anew. This is why Turkey has to be looked upon as what they've become again: an autocracy that poses a serious danger.

Madonna needs to be boycotted for her anti-Israel backing

The Algemeiner reports on veteran pop singer Madonna's support for Louis Farrakhan, along with anti-Israeli platforms:
US performance artist Madonna published over the weekend a series of Instagram posts in which she expressed solidarity with “Palestine.”

The “Material Girl” singer, 61, first shared two images that claimed “Google and Apple have officially removed Palestine from their maps,” a rumor that stemmed from a viral Instagram post last week that has since been proven false.

[...] Earlier this month, Madonna posted on Instagram a trailer for a Fourth of July address given by Louis Farrakhan, the Nation of Islam leader who has a history of making antisemitic remarks.

In his speech, which aired on the cable channel founded by rapper and entrepreneur Sean “Diddy” Combs, Farrakhan called Jews “Satan” and promoted an anti-Israel conspiracy theory.
Upon reading this news, that does it. She's one of various Hollywood "celebrities" who've taken such vile ideologies to the extreme, and now, I'd say the time's come to boycott her work. Madonna's done nothing but prove herself an ignoramus.

If the Haredi Knesset parties really oppose outlawing gay conversion therapy, they cannot keep upholding the notion of "modesty" for women

Here's another example from the Knesset, regarding the Haredi parties' alleged opposition to outlawing homosexual conversion therapy, and their threat to boycott voting plenums if the bill is passed:
On Wednesday, the Knesset approved in a preliminary reading Meretz MK Nitzan Horowitz’s bill banning conversion therapy in Israel. Blue&White MKs voted in favor of the bill contrary to the coalition’s position. The bill was approved by a 42 to 36 vote and was sent to committee for amendments. Another bill, amending the Psychologists Law to comply with the initial bill, was passed by a vote of 43 to 35.

Homeland Security Minister Amir Ohana, a declared homosexual, and MK Michal Shir, both members of Likud, also voted in favor of both bills.
And they're both plain shameful for right-wingers, IMHO. But, let's continue to the main matters:
Conversion therapy is the practice of trying to change an individual’s sexual orientation from homosexual or bisexual to heterosexual using psychological, physical, or spiritual interventions. According to most medical sources, there is no reliable evidence that sexual orientation can be changed and a number of medical institutions have warned that conversion therapy practices are potentially harmful. Medical, scientific, and government organizations in the United States and United Kingdom have expressed concern over the validity, efficacy and ethics of conversion therapy. A number of jurisdictions around the world have passed laws against conversion therapy.
Such laws are an assault on parents' rights to help their children maintain a healthy path. It's also worth noting that many of the same opponents of conversion therapy are the same ones promoting all this transsexual propaganda in the past decade or so, and look at the damage it's doing to women's rights. Something the Haredis are also guilty of in their own way, more on which anon. So why must we take the claims conversion therapy doesn't work at face value?
Following the vote, Shas announced that it would not participate in any upcoming plenary votes until further notice – a move that practically guarantees the failure of any new government legislation. Which should be an unexpected boost to the restaurants and gyms, because the next bill on the agenda is the Corona Powers Act which would have clipped the Knesset Coronavirus Committee’s ability to push back the Health Ministry’s rules demanding closure of restaurants and gyms.

You just gotta’ love Israeli politics.

United Torah Judaism for its part announced that “the law that was passed violates the sanctity of the family and is a blatant violation of the coalition agreement. The support that Blue&White members lent the law has undermined the trust that United Torah Judaism has placed in Blue&White. As of this moment, we halt all cooperation with Blue&White.”

It’s difficult to understand why the elimination of a psychiatrist practice which has been shown to do harm to individuals should threaten the sanctity of the family. After all, the law does not condone homosexuality, it merely forbids practices which may jeopardize the well being of homosexuals.
On this, the Jewish Press missed the point. It basically makes it difficult, if at all, for parents to get their children therapy that could help them to maintain sexual attraction to the opposite sex, and even for individuals who want to get therapy for the same reasons. So it's not just an attack on pro-heterosexuality families along with psychologists themselves. It's also an attack on the rights of individuals. Oh, and honestly, why must we continue to believe conversion therapy in itself does harm to individuals who want to be able to connect well with the opposite sex? On which note, and I'm quite serious now, did it ever occur that maybe pornography could come as a blessing if it has any positive effect in that sense? That's why, while I understand if parents wouldn't want young children to view it, I'm not opposed to it as a form of therapy for those of older age who want to get the hang of heterosexuality properly. Yes, really.
Constitution Committee Chairman MK Yaakov Asher (UTJ) said after the vote that “it was expected from a party that claimed to be a ruling party to act responsibly and not according to whims and vengeance, certainly not on issues related to the very soul of Judaism. This is a violation of the coalition’s mutual commitment with all that is implied. It is inconceivable that Judaism be held hostage in the struggles and mutual revenge of Blue&White and the Likud.”

MK Moshe Gafni (UTJ) said, “We will not cooperate with Blue&White, but the Likud government is also good for kapures (meaning you can hold it up and turn it over your head, but not much more than that – DI). Where was Prime Minister Netanyahu? Why did Amir Ohana vote in favor? We are weighing our next move.”
I wish I could give them some credit for standing firm on this kind of a subject. But knowing what kind of censorious/deleterious customs the ultra-Orthodox go by, that's why I find their supposed opposition to this move laughable. If they believe a]that women should dress modestly and conceal her hair, b]think even the most harmless parts of a woman's body like the shoulders are an abomination, c]that men shouldn't look at or sit next to a woman with the excuse that they're not married/related to her, d]that any or all tribes should deny their subjects a proper sex education, e]censor female imagery in community press publications and f]take customs you would normally think limited to synagogues and put them in streets like those of Beit Shemesh - namely, men and women walking in separate lanes with screens to obscure each other's vision...well then, why do they think homosexuality could be influenced even in their own communities? A similar argument could be made that these customs have led to gender dysphoria, which in turn has led to some former Haredis taking up transsexuality, such as this one writing for the BBC named "Abby" Stein, who, crazy as he is, does tell the problem with how the Haredi communities operate:
The Hasidic community is the most gender-segregated society I've ever known or heard about - and I have researched gender-segregated communities quite a bit.

There are even some Hasidic communities in upstate New York where men and women are told to walk on separate sides of the streets - it's the closest thing that exists now to a 19th Century Eastern European Jewish shtetl (village).

From the second you start preschool, the sexes are totally separated. Boys and girls are told not to play together.

Even though in Jewish law there is no prohibition against hugging or holding hands with your sister or mom, when I was growing up it was still considered something Hasidic boys shouldn't do.

I never saw anyone naked. I did not know that my sisters and I had different body parts down under. It was never discussed
.
It's said that many ultra-Orthodox communities like Satmar, to name a prime example, don't provide their subjects with any proper sex education. So, if the transsexual propagandist writing at the BBC is being factual on that part, I think this gives a clue not only to how homosexuality is caused, but also gender dysphoria can be caused, leading to a Jewish community case of obsession with transgenderism and losing one's mind into embracing the same. This is why I have no respect for such a phony take on Judaism. In this modern day and age, it's leading to cases of former Hasidic subjects going bananas once they run afoul of such a corrupting influence. Whether or not this "Abby" has any sexual attraction to the opposite sex, it's defeatist to act like he can literally become it. Oh, and lest I forget, I'd already written about him last year, and learned he supports anti-Israel movements, which explains why I have no sympathy for him regardless. If it matters though, he goes on in the BBC garbage to say:
Even so, when I was four years old I had this intense feeling of anger towards my own private parts. They didn't feel like part of me. It was an extremely strong feeling that I cannot explain to this day.
Probably because he was never taught any self confidence in being a man, and not given any sex education that could've not only seen to it he was proud to be one, but that he could also be sexually attracted to women and make a good father as well. I totally detest his parents, because they just had to nail themselves on a lifestyle that's likely caused a lot more loss of confidence than gain. I wonder if it's because of one of the morning biblical prayers that says thanks to God "for not making me a woman", instead of a prayer passage more clearly stating for making the subject a man? Could that have led to some confusion? I don't know. What I do know is that the Haredi parties in the Knesset are making a whole joke of their opposition to a ban on gay conversion therapy if they can't look at their own customs and ask whether they're making any mistakes that lead to homosexuality and gender dysphoria in their own way. The ultra-Orthodox ideology is a major embarrassment, and the worst part is, they probably know it.

I think there's a rather simple way to reverse homosexuality: have the subject look over a mountain of pictures of the opposite sex. Specifically, a man sits around looking over photos of models, including pics from pornography magazines, and this is how to get them to become more sexually attracted to women. I honestly think it can work, including porn videos. If the Haredis have a problem with that, well...shame on them, and they can't be shocked if any subject in their insular communities becomes homosexual as a result.

The embarrassment of Peter Beinart

Journalist Peter Beinart, who used to contribute to the New Republic, which long collapsed in quality, has since been espousing propaganda hurtful to Israel. Here's an op-ed about him and why he's doing more harm than good:
Peter Beinart’s two pieces—one in The New York Times and the other in Jewish Currents—are calling for the elimination of Israel as a Jewish state. Beinart no longer supports a two-state solution, but rather a binational state where Jews and Arabs share sovereignty in the territory between the Mediterranean and the Jordan River. This idea is ahistorical, unrealistic and holds Israel to an impossible standard and, if implemented, will likely lead to disaster.

Many Jews feel guilty for the plight of the Palestinians. Beinart’s way of dealing with these feelings is by eliminating the Zionist project—one of the most amazing success stories of national revival in history. Discussing the elimination of an existing state is unprecedented. Israel is not an idea. It has existed for 72 years. No other country in the world is under such non-stop debate about its right to exist while it already does so.
Those feeling guilty for the "plight" of the faux-palestinians are liberals. People desensitized to violence with no proper compass to guide them through life, or put any value on humanity. Here's another article about him on FPM by Joseph Puder:
The arrogance of both Beinart (editor at large of Jewish Currents) and the NYTimes are clearly exposed in ignoring the will and wishes of the Israeli people. The overwhelming majority of Israeli-Jews are proud of their Jewish state and would not be compelled to share it with an Arab-Palestinian people who seek their destruction, to kill them, or displace them. A look at the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO) charter, not to mention Hamas’ charter, reveals those very intentions. After two millenniums of persecution in the diaspora, both in Christian and Muslim lands, Israeli-Jews cherish their one Jewish state in the world, a state that has been a major Zionist success story.

Frankly, few Jewish people care about Beinart “disbelief” in the Jewish State. Beinart’s views regarding the Jewish state are shared by many enemies of the Jewish state, the Palestinians in particular. These enemies couldn’t destroy the Jewish state by war, terror, or economic and political warfare. Some Palestinians might agree to a bi-national state as the first stage before eliminating Jews by sheer weight of importing Palestinians from throughout the Middle East. Once they have become a majority, they would democratically or otherwise (through terror) abolish the Law of Return, and all the symbols of the Jewish state.

Beinart’s proposal of a unitary bi-national state would result in the elimination of the very purpose of Zionism – to have a sovereign state for the Jewish people in their ancestral home. The example Beinart provides for conflict resolution – peace in Northern Ireland between Protestant and Catholic, is a pitiful case. Both Catholics and Protestants share the same Judeo-Christian mores, the largely secular ways of western societies. Beinart seems to have deliberately overlooked Islam. Islam is a triumphalist religion, which seeks to reshape the world in its own image with sharia law. Palestinians have embraced such features of Islam as Jihadism and martyrdom by suicide killers. Contrast that with Israeli Jews commitment to peace and enshrining the value of human life.
I think Beinart needs to retire from journalism. He's badly educated, irrational, and chooses to look at everything through rose-colored lens. He's not suited to be a news reporter.

Holland paid terrorists who murdered Israeli teen girl

The Jerusalem Post says it's been discovered that the Dutch government gave money to terrorists behind the murder of an Israeli teenage girl:
The Netherlands paid part of the salaries of two terrorists involved in killing 17-year-old Rina Shnerb last year, Dutch Foreign Minister Stef Blok and Development Minister Sigrid Kaag admitted to parliament on Tuesday.

The killers are members of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, a designated terrorist group in the EU, and employees of the Palestinian Union of Agricultural Work Committees (UAWC), to which the Dutch representative in Ramallah pledged nearly $20 million in 2013-2021.

Their salaries were paid in part by Dutch funds covering UAWC overhead costs, though they were not directly involved in the land and water management program sponsored by the Netherlands. They also received accreditation, identifying themselves as “employees of a partner organization of the Dutch representation,” in Ramallah a letter from the ministers said.

The Netherlands is suspending its donations to UAWC indefinitely, pending an investigation.
The Dutch government owes a serious apology for the harm they caused. It's a grave example of a European government enabling terrorism, and what they did has also enabled terrorists to act within their own countries. Funding to terrorists has to cease.

How to cultivate future leaders

Nathan Ashner at JNS tells about how to build up modern leaders for the Jewish society in the modern world:
It is important to encourage youth to engage with past leaders of their people who made their current way of life possible. Many Jewish youths take the existence of Israel or a Jewish state for granted because they have never known a world without it. Jewish youths will come to appreciate Israel more once they understand more of its history, and just how difficult and long the process was that resulted in the creation of the modern state.
I would also add that anybody who wants to be revered as a leader would do well not to engage in espousing beliefs like the Haredis do, right down to the censorious/deleterious practices they specialize in that can be degrading to women and men alike. Mainly because that kind of mindset has only led to...anti-Zionism as espoused by the Satmar. So if you want to truly understand and respect history, don't turn to anything even remotely similar to that type of thinking.

PLO may be losing control of the pandemic

As a second wave of Coronavirus strikes, the PLO's experiencing fallout from it in the areas they occupy:
Despite both a partial and full lockdown of areas, the second wave of coronavirus infections within the Palestinian Authority (PA) seems to have hit harder than the first wave, with the leadership in Ramallah fearing they might lose control of the situation.

The number of active cases within the Authority was said to be 6,566, Three times the number of reported cases in early July.

At the beginning of the month, there were seven reported deaths from coronavirus, That number has now reached 58 fatalities according to the latest tally.

The most serious virus hotspot was the Hebron District, which alone held nearly 60% of the PA's COVID-19 patients. As a result, the area was subject to the harshest travel restrictions within the PA.

Head of Doctors’ Syndicate in Hebron Dr. Wael Abu Snina said that medical staff in his city were exhausted and suffered from a shortage of equipment.
And in this article, they're trying to make themselves sound like victims of Israel, because they're not allowed into areas under Israeli control, and pretend Israel's authorities aren't doing anything about the pandemic in Arabic areas:
The Palestinian Authority has been unable to impose COVID-19 containment measures to stop a surge of cases in some West Bank villages since breaking off security cooperation with Israel, Palestinian officials say.

While the PA has enforced strict curfews to slam the brakes on a coronavirus spike in the 40% of the West Bank under its control – primarily urban areas – it can no longer reach areas under Israeli control.
But that's because truly, they couldn't care less if their own subjects were put through such awful circumstances. The upper echelons only care about themselves. Now, the PLO could be paying a huge price through the Corona infections because of their past evils.

Charles Barkley objects to antisemitism

Former basketball star Charles Barkley's spoken out against antisemitism in black society, making it clear that it can't be approved even in black communities:
On the most recent episode of the news and pop culture podcast, “The Steam Room,” co-host and former NBA player Charles Barkley condemned recent expressions of antisemitism from prominent black entertainers and athletes.

Barkley used the beginning of his show, which comes out twice a month, to point out the hypocrisy of those who claim other groups are racist while promoting hatred toward both Jewish and white people.

“I want allies. I don’t want to alienate anybody,”
Barkley said. “And to take shots at the Jewish race, or white race — I just don’t like it because it’s not right. And I had to call him on it because it’s really, it’s really been on my heart.”
I'm very glad somebody like Barkley is speaking reason in this whole topic. All the recent outbreak of racial violence following the George Floyd affair's done is lead to more division and strife that nobody needs, and isn't helping anybody. It's time to turn that all around.

Cathedral in Nantes struck by arson

A cathedral in Nantes has been subject to arson, similar to what Notre Dame experienced a few years ago:
The French authorities have launched an arson investigation after a major fire engulfed the Cathedral of St Peter and St Paul in Nantes.

[...] It is believed that three fires may have been started in the iconic building, “one at the level of the great organ and two fire starts to the left and to the right of the nave”, according to fire brigade officials quoted by public service broadcasting network France Bleu.
Though the firefighting services thankfully managed to prevent serious damage, it's still another obvious example of what Islamofascism brought into France, while authorities do everything they can to shut down any discussion of it.

Update: a suspect has been arrested, a migrant from Rwanda in Africa:
The 39-year-old migrant arrested following the blaze, according to French reports, worked for the diocese, and was angry over difficulties he had been having with his expired visa — although the authorities have cautioned against leaping to conclusions about his involvement in the fire.
No doubt, they're going to avoid any serious questions regarding why he'd set fire to the cathedral because he was enraged his visa wasn't being renewed. This is the PC mindset they've forced upon the nation.

Even alleged conservatives commit censorship and cowardice

Melanie Phillips writes about former NY Times staffer Bari Weiss resigning after other staffers demonized her because she dared to defy their lockstep anti-Israel positions. But, as Phillips notes, there's right-wingers who've also made alarming mistakes of shunning even the best viewpoints, or mention of the same:
Even worse, though, is that it hasn’t just been Jews on the left who have taken this “canceling” position. It’s also been some supposedly nonpartisan pro-Israel groups, and even some whose members overwhelmingly voted Republican; while still others have simply been too terrified of giving a platform to any view that might upset anyone.

Turning up to address one such national nonpartisan organization, I was discreetly asked by the organizers not to mention certain sensitive subjects, such as the Israeli settlements or the divisions in American politics. I hadn’t intended to talk about either of these issues since my chosen topic was the onslaught upon core Western values by man-made ideologies.

But my list of these ideologies included deep green environmentalism, which I explained was a dogma whose roots lay in anti-human population control and which, in negation of core scientific principles of open-ended inquiry, brooked absolutely no dissent.

The following morning, the organizers told me I had upset some of the audience by my attack on green concerns. Since then, this entity has never invited me to speak again.

Subsequently, as the culture wars in America intensified, things got worse. Speaking to largely Republican groups, I was told that under no circumstances whatsoever should I even mention President Donald Trump because people would walk out if I either supported him or criticized him.

And I shouldn’t mention abortion. Nor the Democratic Party. Nor, heaven forbid, the settlements
.
This is definitely disturbing, and obviously not new. Anybody who thinks political correctness of this sort doesn't exist on the right would be sorely mistaken. It may have even taken place at CPAC over the years. Well it's time for somebody to make it clear this paralysis-prone mentality demonstrating an inability to speak up because of fear you'll lose support of some PC baboons has got to stop. It's not helping one bit, and it's exactly why the world collapsing.

PLO arrests Arabs supporting Israel's right to annexation

The Jewish Press reports that the PLO's continuing its methods of dictatorship, here by imprisoning anyone under their totalitarian regime who dares take Israel's side:
The Palestinian Authority has detained several PA Arabs who told Israeli TV journalist Zvi Yechezkeli that they support Israel’s plan to apply sovereignty in parts of Judea and Samaria, according to Yechezkeli.

Yechezkeli, a reporter for Israel’s Channel 13, went undercover with a hidden camera into Judea and Samaria to see what Palestinian Authority Arabs really think about Israeli plans for annexation. The report, which was aired last month, revealed a large chasm between what PA leaders say and what residents really want and feel. As Yechezkeli put it, “The understanding that this [Israel’s sovereignty bid] is an opportunity for a different life extracts from the gut things once heard only behind closed doors, very quietly.”

Yechezkeli told the AFP that at least six people he spoke with were later arrested by PA forces, despite the fact that their faces had been blurred and their voices distorted to protect their identities.

“I was surprised to see that even though I’d blurred the faces of all the people I filmed and distorted their voices, the [PA] has reached and arrested [some] of them, it’s just amazing,” he said, according to the report.
That's definitely odd how they succeeded in figuring out who some of the interviewees were. Could it be somebody else at the TV station betrayed them? It's up to anybody who cares to protest this latest atrocity the PLO's committed, and get the interviewees freed.

Moderna's had success testing a Covid vaccine

The Jerusalem Post reports Moderna, one of the science companies developing a vaccine for Coronavirus, has tested it successfully:
Moderna Inc's experimental vaccine for COVID-19 showed it was safe and provoked immune responses in all 45 healthy volunteers in an ongoing early-stage study, U.S. researchers reported on Tuesday.

No study volunteers experienced a serious side effect, but more than half reported mild or moderate reactions such as fatigue, headache, chills, muscle aches or pain at the injection site.

[...] The results released on Tuesday involved three doses of the vaccine, tested in groups of 15 volunteers aged 18-55 who got two shots, 28 days apart. The groups tested 25, 100 or 250 micrograms of the vaccine.

The team reported that individuals who got two doses of the vaccine had high levels of virus-killing neutralizing antibodies that exceeded the average levels seen in people who had recovered from COVID-19.
If the medicine provides plenty of advances antibodies for stopping viruses, that's got to be another plus. I hope this is a sign that there's light at the end of the tunnel soon.

Update: here's an interview with Dr. Tal Zaks about the development.

Court rejects Malka Leifer's appeal

The supreme court's thankfully shunned the Haredi child molestor Leifer's appeal to delay extradition to Australia:
Accused sex offender Malka Leifer’s appeal to reexamine a Jerusalem District Court ruling that she is mentally fit to be extradited to Australia to stand trial there has been rejected by the High Court of Justice, Walla reported.

[...] “We weren’t really surprised that the sex criminal Malka Leifer filed an appeal on the decision,” the Magen La’Kehilot Yehudiot (Jewish Community Guard) organization said in response to the appeal.
Her lawyers have been trying every trick in the book to prevent her extradition. A pure disgrace and shame. Let's hope she'll finally be extradited at the end of the month.

Leftist demonstrations resort to violence

Here's some examples of recent leftist demonstrations, including a certain 5th column in Mea Shearim, that could be contributing to the continued Corona crisis if the virus spreads amongst them. For example, in Tel Aviv a few days ago:
As economic protests in Tel Aviv came to an end on Saturday night, protesters began to block roads and clash with police throughout the city.

Dozens of protesters blocked HaHasmonaim and Hamisgar-Yitzhak Sadeh roads and the exit to the Ayalon Highway. The intersection in front of the Azrieli towers was blocked by protesters leaving the protest in Rabin Square. The chief of the central Tel Aviv police station addressed protesters blocking the Azrieli Junction saying that "you are in an illegal gathering. You have five minutes to leave the intersection. If you do not leave the intersection, we will be forced to use reasonable force against you," according to Channel 12.

Israel Police announced that they were working to disperse the crowds that were conducting an "illegal protest and disturbing the public order."

Those "inciting and resisting the dispersal with force" were arrested by police. Pictures and videos from Tel Aviv showed violent clashes, with protesters attacking police and police holding down protesters who were being arrested. Some officers arrived on horseback as part of efforts to disperse the demonstrators.

Some 19 people were called in for questioning overnight for disturbing public order, with 12 being arrested afterwards. Three police officers were lightly injured as protesters attacked police and threw bottles and tear gas at them. Protesters vandalized parts of Rothschild Boulevard and lit fires in trash cans, according to a police statement.

The police stressed that while they "allow the freedom to protest, there is a difference between a legitimate protest with defined boundaries and a riot that throws off every rein and violates the public order while harming police officers, damaging property and harming the general public."

Videos circulated on Saturday night showed protesters throwing stones through the glass door of a Discount Bank branch on Ibn Gabirol Street.
This is certainly telling. Vandalism is turning up at these leftist rallies, to say nothing of contempt for business vendors. Next, there's continued riots in Haredi neighborhoods over the lockdowns imposed there:
Ultra-Orthodox men and boys in Jerusalem staged protests against government lockdowns for the third evening in a row on Monday, with police arresting 16.

Dozens gathered at the entrance to the Romema neighborhood, chanted slogans against police forces and the government and burned dumpsters.

Some kicked burning dumpsters on wheels toward Border Police forces
, who, in some cases, kicked them back.

[...] On Saturday, 10 people were arrested as ultra-Orthodox demonstrators clashed with police. Hundreds of protesters blocked the intersection of Yirmiyahu and Shamgar streets, and threw stones, eggs, and other objects at officers who were responding to the situation, the Israel Police said in a statement. Some of the protesters tore down police barricades that had been set up to enforce the lockdowns, the statement said.

On Sunday, at least two more people were arrested, as hundreds of ultra-Orthodox Jews set trash cans on fire and knocked down barriers to protest the closures.
Lighting dumpster fires is dangerous, and should count as an act of arson. And then, there's the following incident, which may have been part of a communist-sponsored demonstration:
Police used water cannons and officers mounted on horses charged demonstrators to disperse several hundred people who blocked the Jerusalem light rail after midnight Tuesday, following a large protest outside Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s official residence.

Several thousand people had gathered Tuesday evening calling on Netanyahu to quit over his indictment on corruption charges, as several separate social protests took place at the same time across the country.

Some of the demonstrators attempted to break through security barriers at the scene and clashed with police. As the protest ended, hundreds moved downtown, where they blocked the light rail system, chanting “shame, shame” and “Bibi, go home.”

Police then turned water canons on the demonstrators and mounted police charged up and down the light rail tracks on Jaffa Street, sending protesters scattering to the side of the streets before regrouping.

Many then marched down Keren HaYesod Street, with some pushing garbage dumpsters and chain-link fences into the streets as makeshift barricades. Several dumpsters were set on fire.

Police said one officer was lightly wounded and 50 protesters were arrested.
Wow, so it's not just Haredi socialists torching garbage bins. Now, there's their more secular counterparts doing it too, if they hadn't gone that far before. Desensitization to violence is what destroys many sane societies. And all this chaos was done by people who literally want to believe Netanyahu's "guilty" of trumped up charges. Absolutely awful. And it does nothing to protect against the continuing Covid crisis either.

Mirielle Knoll's 2 murderers are going to trial

Two Islamofascists in France who murdered a Holocaust survivor are now going on trial:
French judges on Monday ordered two men to stand trial for the brutal 2018 killing of an elderly Jewish woman that prompted an outcry over a rise in anti-Semitic acts.

Mireille Knoll, 85 and suffering from Parkinson's disease, was stabbed in her Paris apartment by attackers who later set her body on fire, apparently to hide evidence of their crime.

She had escaped the mass deportation of Jews from France during World War II by fleeing abroad.

A longtime neighbor, Yacine Mihoub, and associate Alexandre Carrimbacus were later arrested on charges of murder and aggravated robbery, though prosecutors did not initially characterize the killing as anti-Semitic.

Under questioning Carrimbacus accused Mihoub of yelling "Allahu Akbar (God is greatest)" while stabbing Knoll and of justifying the attack by saying "Jews have money."

The revelations outraged France's Jewish community, which called it the latest in a series of increasingly brazen anti-Semitic acts, including violence and desecrations of Jewish cemeteries.
The mother of one of them is also going on trial for trying to destroy evidence. And it's obscene how these monsters are consistently taught to be greedy for money, and view Jews as in possession of everything. Sick.

It still remains to be seen if Sarah Halimi will receive any justice. That's something that'll have to be dealt with next.

Turkey's turning Hagia Sophia cathedral back into a mosque

More signs of Turkey's lurch towards totalitarianism, not to mention their determination to eradicate Christianity from Erdogan's regime:
The ancient cathedral of Hagia Sophia in Istanbul – the former seat of eastern Christianity – could now be dedicated to use as a mosque after Turkey’s high court on Friday ruled its conversion into a museum in 1934 was unlawful.

[...] It was a decision long sought by conservative Muslims in Turkey and beyond and especially by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, whose popularity is waning after 18 years atop Turkish politics, the New York Times reports.
And this is evidently his way of boosting his public support back up again. Interesting how it's implied Muslims are the only movement where conservatism is approved of. Now, the ummah has once again hijacked a historic site for the sole purpose of serving as an example of their beliefs in turning everything into their ideological use. Truly awful.

New Corona lockdowns imposed on several neighborhoods around Israel

Mostly Haredi neighborhoods, as this article indicates, hinting they still aren't acting with full responsibility:
Lockdowns came into effect at 1 p.m. on Friday in neighborhoods in five towns and cities hit hard by the coronavirus outbreak, a day after cabinet ministers approved the measure as the number of new cases in Israel continued to surge.

Parts of Jerusalem, Beit Shemesh, Lod, Ramle and Kiryat Malachi became “restricted zones” for seven days. The restrictions will be lifted at 8 a.m. on July 17.

A joint statement Thursday evening by the Prime Minister’s Office and the Health Ministry said entries and exits the restricted areas will be limited, as well as traffic and business activity inside the areas.

In Jerusalem, the neighborhoods of Romema, Kiryat Sanz and Matersdorf — all majority ultra-Orthodox areas — have been closed; in Beit Shemesh, the areas of Nahala and K’ne Habosem; in Lod, Ganei Ya’ar and Sach; in Ramle, Amidar Beilav; and in Kiryat Malachi, the Rotner area and Chabad neighborhood.

Other parts of Lod will be closed for five days.

The Kiryat Malachi municipality on Friday decided to suspend all schools and kindergartens in the city due to the rise in infections there.

Jerusalem Mayor Moshe Lion, however, criticized the lockdown order, claiming it would cause “mass infections.”

“These people will go out and infect everyone in their neighborhood,” he told the Kan public broadcaster. “The solution for the coronavirus is to isolate the carriers. I have asked to be handed the authority to evacuate the carriers to [quarantine] hotels until they recover.”
Considering many there are already infected, it's more of a matter of their receiving medical treatment so they can function properly in wider society again. I'm guessing Lion doesn't want to alienate the Haredi electorate in the council. But the matter is that we still have irresponsible and potentially extremist Haredi sects protracting the situation, and that can't be allowed. Same with any Muslim neighborhoods where it could be the same. Although a point can be made that, if Islamists were acting more responsibly yet the Haredis weren't, that would just provide ammunition to anti-Israelists who want to claim Jews are less responsible, taking the misguided acts of one community and tarring us all with the same brush. That's why, IMHO, the ultra-Orthodox have to learn a little lesson that they can't keep risking the potential of giving ammunition to bad apples who milk everything for what it's worth at Israel's expense.

Malka Leifer's attorneys appeal ruling to supreme court

As expected, the defense team for the Haredi child molestor wanted in Australia continue to do everything they can to mock the Israeli justice system:
Attorneys for alleged sex offender Malka Leifer filed an appeal to the Supreme Court concerning the ruling by the Jerusalem District Court that Leifer is mentally fit to be extradited to Australia to stand trial there.

[...] “We weren’t really surprised that the sex criminal Malka Leifer filed an appeal on the decision,” said the Magen La’Kehilot Yehudiot organization in response to the appeal on Wednesday. “We hope that the Supreme Court will reject the request outright and allow her to stand trial. We strengthen the victims and hope that Leifer’s extradition to Australia and prosecution will give them some comfort.”
I too hope the court will reject the appeal, because the more this is delayed, the worse things get. Indeed, it's honestly bad that the lower court gave room for an appeal to be filed. They shouldn't have.

Since we're on the subject, I also found news from a week ago that the chief rabbinate refused to revoke accreditation for disgraced rabbi Mordechai Elon, who was accused of similar acts:
Despite legal pressure from a petition to the High Court of Justice, the Chief Rabbinate has declined to revoke the accreditation obtained in the past by disgraced rabbi Moti Elon, and has sufficed with merely accepting his pledge not to seek any public position in the rabbinate.

Elon was convicted by the Jerusalem Magistrate’s Court in 2013 of two counts of indecent assault by force against a minor. He did not appeal, and was sentenced to six-months community service by the court.

In 2018, new allegations of sexual molestation of a minor were made against Elon, who had returned to public activity several years after his conviction, and three of the most senior religious-Zionist rabbis in the country. Rabbis Haim Druckman, Yaakov Ariel and Shmuel Eliyahu, told him to cease all public activity and to stop receiving youths in private for advice.

Efforts were made to have the Chief Rabbinate revoke his qualifications to serve as a municipal chief rabbi and neighborhood rabbi, since under the terms of the Regulations for Jewish Religious Services 2007, the Council of the Chief Rabbinate can do so if a rabbi “acted in a way that is incommensurate with his position as a rabbi among the Jewish people,” or if he was convicted of a crime whose severity is such that it can be concluded that the rabbi is not fit to serve as a public official.

Last year, however, a disciplinary committee set up by the Chief Rabbinate decided to suffice with a declaration by Elon that he would not seek public office for a period of 10 years after his conviction, which would have expired in 2023.
The rabbinate is run by 2 Haredi rabbis, Yitzhak Yosef and David Lau, and this is not going to reflect well on their reputation, if they're allowing this. A so-called religious representative who disgraces his position through serious offenses should be defrocked. This isn't going to improve the situation.

Casualties from Corona in France very high for immigrant populations from north Africa

The UK Guardian has some eyebrow raising news about what the rates of illness and deaths from Covid19 were like for immigrants from the African continent. Blacks reportedly suffered most badly, but, though the article doesn't clearly say so, it sounds like Islamists also took a serious toll:
The research findings were particularly alarming for the Paris region, especially in the densely populated and underprivileged northern reaches of the French capital. Compared to March-April of 2019, Paris-region deaths during the same two months this year shot up by 134% among north African immigrants and by 219% for people born elsewhere in Africa.

Skewed death rates were even more pronounced in Seine-Saint-Denis, the northern outskirts of Paris long troubled by poverty and overcrowding. There, deaths increased by 95% among the French-born, but by 191% among people born in north Africa and by 368% among those from sub-Saharan Africa.
There are reasons we can probably guess why it was so bad there. The Islamists apparently thought "allah" would defend their health, and since they pour out so much violence in that district, what with riots and intifada and all that, so how could authorities ensure that proper medical attendance could be provided to them? They turned their neighborhood into a sharia-run no-go zone, that's what they get.

Who knows? This whole pandemic might have a silver lining in that it brought about punishment for those who would espouse a violent religion and force it upon innocent people.

Corrupt NGO transports more Muslims with Corona into Italy

Here's another example on Breitbart of criminal movements not only smuggling in more Muslim interlopers to Europe, but also bringing in more Coronavirus infected as well (Hat tip: Jihad Watch):
The migrant transport NGO Mediterranea Saving Humans has brought another 43 migrants to Italy from North Africa, and eight have so far tested positive for the Wuhan coronavirus.

The migrants were brought to the Sicilian town of Augusta by the NGO’s vessel the Ionian Sea. Local authorities tested them for the Chinese virus, and the governor of Sicily Nello Musumeci announced the results on Thursday.

“Of the 43 immigrants landed in Augusta, eight tested positive for coronavirus. They are in Noto and not on a ship in the bay as the Sicilian government had asked; the state says that the ship is too expensive,” Musumeci said, according to Il Giornale.

He went on to add: “Why was the quarantine on the mainland? Why does nobody inform us about the real conditions of the camps in Libya? These are questions that Rome has a duty to answer.”

Mediterranea Saving Humans confirmed the eight cases of coronavirus. They released a statement saying: “The crew of the Ionian Sea ship is now at anchor in the port of Augusta, already in quarantine.”

The incident is the second time a migrant transport NGO has brought migrants infected with the coronavirus to Italy in recent weeks. Last month, the NGO Sea-Watch brought a total of 209 migrants to Italy, 28 of which later tested positive for the virus.

Several migrant transport NGOs have resumed activities in the last few weeks including SOS Mediterranee, a French NGO that is said to have picked up 180 migrants in the last several days and will also be heading to Italy soon.
Is the boat crew not sorry they smuggled people who aren't taking care of their health, and getting them infected as well? If anything, this is insanity incarnate, bound to continue the fiasco of illegal immigration in Europe.

Haredi and Arabic neighborhoods in Jerusalem are still hotspots for Corona infections

The Coronavirus crisis continues in Israel, most unfortunately, and now, it turns out that Haredi neighborhoods in - but not limited to - Jerusalem, are still suffering serious cases of Coronavirus infections, and the Arabic neighborhoods are too. The Jerusalem Post says:
Haredi (ultra-Orthodox) areas of Jerusalem are becoming hot spots for the coronavirus, reminiscent of the first wave, a new report shows.

According to a report released Friday by the Coronavirus National Information and Knowledge Center, which is overseen by the IDF Intelligence Corps in cooperation with the Health Ministry, most of the new infections in Jerusalem in the past week are concentrated in haredi neighborhoods.

Some 37% of Jerusalem’s coronavirus patients are in the following neighborhoods: Ramot, Kiryat Sanz-Belz, Geula, Neve Yaakov, Mea She’arim, Tel Arza, Mahanayim, Ramot Bet, Har Nof, Habukharim, Makor Baruch, Kiryat Mattersdorf, Givat Hamivtar and Sanhedria Murhevet.

Until now, around 5% of people tested for coronavirus in the holy city tested positive. Last week, that number jumped to 7.4%.

However, in haredi neighborhoods, the average is 17%. Moreover, the number of infected people is doubling every four days; nationally, the number is doubling every seven days.

Of the 160 Jeursalemites diagnosed with coronavirus on July 1, 72 (45%) of them were from haredi neighborhoods. Another 26% were from Arab-Israeli neighborhoods, as there is also an increase in infection in east Jerusalem, the report said.

The number of active patients in east Jerusalem was 148 on Friday, 15% of all new patients in the city.
Israel HaYom noted this over a week ago. It looks like responsibility still isn't entirely being taken in such sectors. I sometimes ride the light rail train in Jerusalem, and once noticed that, in the Arabic neighborhood of Shuafat, there were quite a few people on the streets who didn't wear surgical masks. Not very responsible there either.

To make matters worse, there was another violent brawl in a Haredi neighborhood on Saturday night with police trying to give a woman a fine for not wearing a surgical mask:
Scuffles broke out between protesters and police attempting to enforce mask-wearing in Jerusalem late Saturday.

Two people were arrested during the melee in the capital’s ultra-Orthodox Mea Shearim neighborhood, police said.

According to police, the fighting broke out when officers attempted to write a ticket for a woman refusing to put a mask on her face in line with government rules to combat the spread of the coronavirus.

The woman refused to identify herself and dozens of others showed up and began fighting with police, including throwing stones at them
, according to reports.

In a statement, the police said the protesters “obstructed the work [of the police], disturbed the peace and threw bottles and other things at officers.”

In video of the incident posted online by the Kikar Hashabbat news site, children can be heard calling the police Nazis.

No injuries were reported, and police said the woman was eventually served a citation.
But this demonstrates why the crisis could continue for too long, unless these neighborhoods, as prime carriers of the virus, are locked off firmly, based on the uncooperative behavior inside them. And serious enforcement will have to be carried out in any and all Arabic neighborhoods where this flouting is present as well. It's terrible that extremist ideologies are undermining efforts to deal with these problems more effectively.

The European, African and Latin American politicians who support annexation

The Jerusalem Post reports about politicians in Europe, Africa and south America who support Israel's right to annex Judea/Samaria back into official sovereignty (via Breitbart):
Parliamentarians from 20 different countries in Europe, Africa and Latin America signed a letter on Wednesday supporting Israeli sovereignty in the West Bank.

[...] “We, the chairman of the Israel Allies Caucuses fully support our ally, the State of Israel, in her rights to apply sovereignty to the Jewish communities of Judea and Samaria,” the letter states.

“We affirm that the Jewish communities of Judea and Samaria have been a key part of the biblical and ancestral homeland of the Jewish nation for centuries. We maintain that Israel applying Israeli civil law to already existing Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria is appropriate and recognizes the democratic wishes of those communities.”

In addition, the letter also cites the freedom of access to important biblical sites to members of all religions. This, the letter states, includes “the Tomb of the Patriarch and Matriarchs in Hebron, the site of Jacob’s dream in Beit El and the tabernacle’s resting place in Shiloh, among many other religious sites.

“We believe that the application of sovereignty to these communities in Israel will not affect the Palestinian people negatively but rather bring the possibility for peace and prosperity closer to the region. Applying Israeli law to already existing Jewish communities in Israel can be part of a realistic regional peace plan which recognizes current realities.”

The European signatories included parliamentarians from the EU, Slovakia, Wales, Finland, Italy, Romania and the Netherlands. This was also notably among the first actions of Slovakian MP Peter Kremsky in his new position as chairman of the Slovakian Parliamentary Israel Allies Causus, which is one of the most active in Europe, boasting a membership of 30 MPs.

Signatories from Africa included parliamentarians from Zambia, Malawi, Ghana, South Africa, Nigeria, Madagascar and Kenya. In a statement, MP Joyce Chitsulo, chair of the Malawi Parliamentary Israel Allies Caucus, stated that “I am proud to stand in support for Israel’s legal, biblical and historical right to apply sovereignty to the Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria. The Israelis living in these established communities since 1967 deserve to live under domestic Israeli governance instead of military control. The time has come to accept the current reality on the ground.”

Latin American parliamentarians that signed the letter included those from Argentina, Colombia, Suriname, Mexico, the Domincan Republic and Guatemala. In a statement, Congressman Fidel Reyes Lee, chairman of the Guatemalan Parliamentary Israel Allies Caucus, said "We want to send a message of support to the State of Israel from the Guatemalan Congress, regarding the application of Israeli civil law to already existing Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria. Guatemala has always been on the side of the Jewish people and the State of Israel at the most important moments in its history, and here we are from the Guatemalan Congress reiterating our unconditional support for the State of Israel."
All politicians in Europe who haven't joined this movement, including in France, the UK and even Poland, would do well to take note here. There are foreign sources who believe in Israel's right to its birthrights as much as in the country itself.

Islamofascists exploit BLM, despite Islam's own anti-black history

Israel National News wrote an op-ed about how Islamofascists have been among the leading movements to take advantage of Black Lives Matter to advance their own vile platforms, even though Islam has its own history of anti-black bigotry:
Following the killing in police custody of Minneapolis resident George Floyd, several radical Muslim American organizations have joined in nationwide protests to show solidarity with black civil-rights protests. However, Floyd’s death has sparked difficult conversations about black-Muslim relations, as well as the implicit racial biases found in some Arab and South Asian communities.

Rather than acknowledge anti-black bigotry, Chicago Islamists—many of them with a history of anti-black discrimination—have minimized and excused this abhorrent behavior while exploiting Floyd’s death to satisfy their own anti-Israel agenda.

After some activists unjustly blamed a Palestinian convenience-store owner for calling the police on Floyd when he presented a counterfeit $20 bill, non-black Muslims have been forced to address the pervasive anti-black discrimination that has persisted within their communities.

This behavior is undoubtedly a cultural import from the Middle East and North Africa, where the descendants of slaves continue to experience systemic racism. In Chicago, mosques are predominantly organized along ethnocentric lines, and a decades-old feud between non-black Muslim storeowners and their African-American customers has occasionally resulted in violence.

Despite these biases, Islamists who support pro-Palestinian causes have been using the Black Lives Matter movement to demonize Israel and promote Palestinian resistance.
And the worst part is that, since BLM's built on antisemitic conspiracy theories, much like the Women's March turned out to be, their own leaders apparently have no issues, because such ideologies seem to trump everything else. It's absolutely stupefying. Read the rest of the article for more.

Bad politicians need to be voted out

The Federalist makes a case concerning the horrific conduct of the Democrats over the past few years, and why they need to be voted out:
Hillary Clinton once said we could not be civil with a political party that wants to destroy American values. She has a point.

It’s high time Americans throw out politicians who promote mob anarchists, the destruction of law and order, disgrace American heritage, delegitimize our institutions, abuse government power, exploit past injustices, and sow division in an all-encompassing 21st century cultural revolution. Where the stakes are high, so too are the demands to save America from the tyranny of the Jacobian thought police on the cusp of a takeover of the Democratic Party pledging a radical nationwide transformation.
Read more at the link. The Dems have really scraped bottom these days. It's time to make ourselves heard why we cannot approve of their modern Orwellian MO. The way to do that is to vote them out of office.

One of Jeffrey Epstein's leading assistants has been arrested by the FBI

Ghislaine Maxwell, who was accused of assisting the late child rapist and slavemonger Jeffrey Epstein, has been placed under arrest by the FBI:
British socialite and Jeffrey Epstein confidante Ghislaine Maxwell, who is accused of being an enabler of much of the financier's sexual crimes, was arrested by the FBI early on Thursday.

Maxwell was arrested in Bradford, New Hampshire due to her alleged deep involvement with Epstein's crimes, according to law enforcement familiar with the case. Charges include conspiring with Epstein to sexually abuse minor girls. She is expected to appear in federal court later in the day.

Charging documents reveal that Maxwell is being held on crimes focused allegedly committed in the 1990s and include counts of perjury, conspiracy to entice and transport minors to engage in illegal sex acts, and transportation of minors for said acts. Spokespeople for the FBI and the U.S. Attorney's Office in Manhattan declined to comment on the recent developments.
She's the daughter of the late business tycoon Robert Maxwell, and this is certainly not going to look good on their legacy. Let's hope she cooperates with authorities on this investigation.

Republicans need to mend damage wrought by Neil Gorsuch

The Federalist makes the case that people like Neil Gorsuch pose a serious problem after his betrayal on the LGBT issue:
The defection of Justice Neil Gorsuch from the conservative side in the Supreme Court case on transgenderism has clearly delivered a blow to the Federalist Society and the people who have come together in the conservative legal movement. But the decision may also have the benefit of jolting Republicans from their willingness to rely on the courts to do the heavy lifting, to make the arguments that the political branches lacked the nerve or the wit to make.
Here's another article on the subject, about the threat male transsexuals pose to women's sports:
The hashtag “#savegirlssports” is trending this week to raise awareness and inspire action for fair competition in girls’s sports.

Izzy Case, a state-qualifying high school track runner in Colorado, has competed against a male “identifying” as a female. Although Izzy has been able to beat the transgender athlete by several places, she knows the competition could be drastically more unfair in college.

“I’m in high school now, so transgender females are not…completely developed yet,” Izzy said. “But at the college level, if boys are competing in female events, they are a lot more muscular.”

Joining the already extensive list of 2020 cultural tipping points, the issue of transgender males’ eligibility to compete in female leagues has led the Family Policy Alliance to initiate this grassroots effort to protect the opportunities for scholarships, trophies, and equality that exist for girls.
The group is doing the right thing to come to girl athletes' defense. While we're on the issue, here's also a study about teen girls who're falling victim to the cult of anti-femininity the transsexuality ideology's built on. As explained by author Abigail Shrier:
I have interviewed over four dozen families whose teen daughters became caught in this current. Their stories follow a pattern: A girl never expresses any discomfort with her biological sex until puberty, when anxiety and depression descend. The girl struggles to make friends. She immerses in social media and discovers transgender gurus. Or her school holds an assembly celebrating gender journeys, or hosts a Gay-Straight Alliance club pushing gender ideology. At first, she tries out a new name and pronouns. Her school encourages her, keeping all this a secret from her parents. Then, she wants more.
Also:
Public schools peddle gender ideology with a fervor that would make a preacher blush. Transgender social-media gurus tout the euphoria testosterone produces, and Planned Parenthood is one of the largest suppliers of testosterone — and they do apprise of the risks, but on an “informed consent” basis. (Meaning, no therapist note is required and you leave the clinic with a very serious drug based essentially on the patient’s self-diagnosis.) Hundreds of plastic surgeons are happy to offer medically unnecessary double-mastectomies to girls as young as 16 without so much as a therapist’s note.
There are Islamists who exploit the internet for recruitment to the ummah. There's also extremist Haredi tribes like Lev Tahor that surely did the same. This is just as horrific, and who knows if plastic surgery can mend the damage these Mengele operations have done so easily? It's absolutely disgusting what repellent experiments the left is encouraging lately, and time to put a stop to it already. This is also a vital lesson for parents why they have to be wary of who their children interact with on the web and elsewhere, because there's all sorts of predators out there who do everything they can, often under protected class status, to destroy their children. This is exactly why parental responsibility is important.
