Ehud Olmert continues his alarmingly traitorous streak, meets with Mahmoud Abbas at the UN

The former Israeli premier who was convicted for bribery and fraud in the late 2000s and long turned traitor against Israel continues his obsession with taking anti-Israeli stances by meeting with the PLO's current dictator at the UN, all so they can denounce Donald Trump's Deal of the Century:
Former Prime Minister Ehud Olmert will meet with Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas on Tuesday, News 12. reported. The two are expected to discuss President Trump’s peace plan. The meeting has been heavily criticized in Israel and Olmert has been accused of helping Abbas in his fight against the “deal of the century.”

But Olmert told Channel 12 News on Monday night that he intended to formally endorse Trump’s peace efforts, adding: “I want to mention that Abu Mazen (Abbas’s nom de guerre) is the only Palestinian leader who fights terrorism and opposes terrorism – so he’s the one we should talk to.”

Of course, the Palestinian Authority Martyrs Fund, Abbas’s favorite government program which he occasionally finances at the expense of non-murderous PA employees’ salaries, pays a monthly cash stipend to the families of terrorists killed, injured or imprisoned for involvement in murdering, assisting in murdering, or planning to murder Israelis, or for other types of politically inspired violence, including riots, violent demonstrations, and throwing Molotov cocktails and rocks at innocent Israeli civilians. In addition, the fund provides pocket-money to all Arab terrorists imprisoned in Israeli jails. In 2016, the PA paid out about 1.1 billion shekel ($303 million) in stipends and other benefits to the families of so-called “martyrs.”
No chance Abbas will change any of that, of course, and Olmert clearly isn't trying to, no matter how much he claims he now endorses Trump's plan. Abbas has already attacked it himself and hinted at more violent incitement:
Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, appearing before the United Nations Security Council, angrily rejected US President Donald Trump's Middle East peace proposal on Tuesday as a gift to Israel and unacceptable to Palestinians.

Waving a copy of a map that the US plan envisions for a two-state solution, Abbas said the state carved out for Palestinians looks like a fragmented "Swiss cheese."
Over here, it says:
In a nothing but laughable statement, Abbas said he “wishes to resume negotiations with you, Mr. Olmert, under the umbrella of the International Quartet.”

Perhaps Mr. Abbas needs to be reminded, that Mr. Olmert is no longer a Prime Minister. Additionally, he might need a reminder that it was he (Abbas) that walked away from those negotiations.
It also basically confirms Abbas fully rejects Trump's plan. And suggests Olmert does too. Utter disgrace.
